Could have bought a car for the week for the price
Pros: Everything was great, except the price was unreasonably high. I'm told it was due to the cruise ships being in port, but most cars were not rented.
Cons: The price.

Pros: Clean car. Easy last minute reservations. Easy to pick up.
Cons: Car kinda smelled like cigarette smoke. And, I never received a receipt for my rental since I had to return it when no one was at the desk (early, early AM).

4-Door in Junuea
Pros: The Toyota was great, rear-view camera, good on gas, clean, etc. It had plenty of space for 5. And I would rent again.
Cons: The location of pick-up was not by the airport or State Ferry Terminal. Rather it is 10 miles away downtown Juneau.
The issue I had, after returning the vehicle one day early, was my credit card was charged the FULL amount, even though 25 days later the refunded amount did not appear on my statement. I had to call the Anchorage Avis number and they agreed to correct the OVERCHARGED amount and credit my card.

Pros: The car was great and the staff at Avis was excellent.
Cons: It is Alaska so you will pay a lot for a rental car.

Friendly staff
Full tank of gas
Cons: I had a long walk from the pier to the office.
Only one person there for drop off-never saw them inspect the car after I dropped it off.
