Cons: "We had to change seats due to the audio functions not working for both of us. In addition, my wife’s seat the recliner didn’t work. Fortunately there two seats behind us. We changed then things are working. Staff was good, trying very hard to help."

Cons: "A woman thought she had my seat. She said "I am 29A" and so I quickly got the steward so we could resolve the complication. It turned out she read 29A on her itinerary only it was for an earlier leg of the trip. Instead of understanding her accidental oversight, the steward said to us both, "you have 29C and you 29A whats the problem?" I understand he was busy, only 2 passengers booked for the same seat would cause a problem on a full flight. He should have understood her accidental self-seat assignment change because she read the seat from the earlier flight. She and I weren't trying to have issues, we just wanted to sort out what we thought was an overlap in seat assignments."

We were on the ground at 7:40 and I didn't get on airporter until 9:30! Also, the gogoinflight didn't work."

Pros: "While flying to Portland from Maui, our next flight was cancelled. No one notified us of this while on the plane or as we exited the plane. My mom found out while I was in the bathroom. She talked to the person at the gate we had just arrived at. She told us we were rerouted to a better flight and told us to go to a specific gate. When we arrived at the gate, Rainy (your employee) explained the situation again calmly, printed our boarding passes, told us we had an hour to catch a bite and worked on seating us together on the plane (I am traveling with a child). When we came back to the gate to board, she had taken care of our seating issue and was very nice. If you are going to cancel a flight on a customer, this is exactly how it should be handled. Better flight, better time, calm and helpful staff. This was the most enjoyable flight of our trip. Nice size plane and great staff. Just maybe need to notify the on board stewardess, she doesn't need to project or yell to be heard for the courtesy of those who have been traveling all night."

I was getting it until the airline assistant decided to have a very loud, very long conversation with a passenger. I could barely hear the passenger, but the employee was speaking as if on stage at an ampitheater! I know where she use to work, how she became a stewardess, how many cities she has worked from, how many days she has off, and again how many cities she has been to, AT VERY LOUD LEVELS!"

I was the last person to board and I made it to the gate in the nick of time. It was really stressful. On my way to PDX I used SW and I had a connecting flight in Denver. However the pilot was very good about giving us an update and assuring that we will get there on time. I felt reassured that SW cared for its passengers and was trying to alleviate our stress."
Pros: "I have become a major fan of Alaska Airlines. Check In is so easy, the attendants are friendly, the food is worth purchasing (although a bit too spicy for me), the choices of flight times is impressive. I have flown with Alaska three times in the past year and every flight was booked solid. Must be lots of others who feel the same way I do."

Turns out SAS had switched me to a later flight without any notice. It took hours on the night I was readying yo leave for a three-week trip to find out what had happened. At best, I would have found out the next day at the airport and waited an extra three hours. Not the big fun! At worst, who knows? Would someone have been able to figure it out in time? Huge run-around!"

Ridiculous never flying United airlines ever ever ever again."

Pros: "The flight from the Denver leg to Des Moines was great. The crew was exceptionally friendly, especially the stewardess. I really loved taking the smaller plane into Des Moines. It made the boarding and deboarding go very quickly. In the future when traveling to destinations outside of a major hub, I will look for flights with smaller planes. It was an incredibly pleasant flight experience."

Being a chef, I would never give poor quality customer service as he did. My flight attendants from DEN to TYS was much more personable and made the flight much more enjoyable."

Cons: "The seating space is cramped beyond belief. Once wedged into your seat, you can hardly move or even shift positions. (This is a health risk - not moving on long flights increases the likelihood of blood clots) The new seats are noticeably thinner than older models, and the only "recline" about 3". Which is to say, they don't recline. If they had reclined, the seat in front of me would have run into my knees which were pressed against the seatback (I'm 6') and it is not an exaggeration to say there is NO room to move my knees, not even to spread my legs. The experience was akin to being tied to a post. Thankfully this was a short flight - every minute of it was miserable."

I then noticed that at boarding, the attendent didn't seem to be checking people's ticket and wether or not they had a carry-on. ಠ_ಠ -When you check-in online, they make it look like you have to pay for your actual seat. ($13-30) I was shocked. However, I realized later that if you scroll down all the way, there's a "skip" option. Turns out, you're paying to reserve a seat, versus them automatically picking one for you later. ಠ_ಠ I was a little upset when I realized this. -my tray table was the size of an ipad mini -they've shaved a few inches off of everything, so it was a tight fit. -everything but water costs money. Soda is 1.99 for an 8 oz can. -no tv, no headphone jack in the arm rest."

Cons: "Every seat was the same but there was an upcharge on different flights. I paid an extra $9.00 for a window seat in the back of the plane and it would've been $20.00 for the same seat closer to the front. They also charge for bags whether they are carry on or checked. My first flight, a kid in front of me threw up and it went under his seat and all inside of my bag. I spent the entire flight cleaning puke off of my computer and my clothes. The flight attendant just told me there were paper towels in the lavatory. When we finally arrived at 11pm we sat in the runway for 30-45 minutes until our gate was clear. Then we finally pulled up and it took another 15-20 mins for them to attach the bridge for us to get off the plane."

Cons: "Even though the ticket is cheap, you have to pay outrageous prices for literally everything else. You have to pay to reserve a seat (any seat) otherwise they can separate your family on the plane. You have to pay for drinks (even water) no matter how long your flight. You don't get a free carry on bag and if you don't book the bag before you get to the airport it can cost you north of 45$ to check it. The accommodations themselves were not great. The chairs have no cushioning, don't recline, are so close together that I couldn't cross my legs, and the tray table is 4 inches wide and couldn't even hold my laptop. The flight attendants on both flights were extremely rude and ran into me with the drink cart twice. One of the flight attendants when asked if the AC would be turned on since the flight was pretty warm asked if the woman wasn't just having hot flashes. She was upset tingly abrasive. The flight was delayed on the Tarmac for over an hour because the team couldn't load the baggage on the flight. The flight team didn't give us any explanation of the delay beyond that, they didn't update is on the expected time delay and they never apologized for the delay. When we did finally get going the flight crew was very rude with asking people to sit back down. Worst of all was that after all of that they lost my luggage. Despite a 2 hour layover and 1 hour delay at the gate specifically because they weren't done loading the luggage Frontier couldn't manage to get my luggage from gate 42 to gate 44... The whole experience was awful. I would never fly with them again no matter how cheap the ticket."

Cons: "This was by far my worst and most rediculous experience when flying Frontier. I've been to the Portland airport before, so I'm aware the security line is never too long, so I figured after dropping off our rental car getting in the airport at 7:00 when our flight leaves at 7:40 was no problem. We arrived, to check in and check our bag and the kiosk said see attendant. Only problem was, there was NO ATTENDANT even at the desk! They put up a sign that said check in desk closes 45 minutes prior to take off. What kind of airline closes check in desk before the plane leaves?!? We tried to get help from other airport attendants, who agreed we had plenty of time to get through security before our flight took off and thought that was rediculous as well. There was even a man who said he was at the check in desk at 6:40 (One whole hour before take-off) and no one was there to check him in. Finally after easing 45 mintues trying to get a Frontier attendant paged by Airport Help Desk, we all missed our flight. Finally a Frontier attentant came around, and said she couldn't do anything for us and we would each need to pay an additional $99 a piece to re book on another flight!! It takes a lot for me to get upset, but when I know I could have made my flight like 4 different times but I couldn't because I couldn't even check in to get through security...that's BS!!! And to be forced to pay an additional $99 to rebook, on top of already having paid for my round trip ticket, just totally proves that Frontier doesn't value their customers at all. I have been a frequent Frotier flyer these past few years, and after my experience, I realize it's worth it to pay a bit extra to fly with people who value you and dont try to scam you multiple different ways to make more money off you."

Cons: "The interior has been redesigned, almost as if to punish passengers for cheap tickets. We all know that the price for cheap tickets is getting charged a la cart for everything (luggage, seats, etc), which is ridiculous but expected. What I didn't expect was that they replaced the seats with cheap minimalist seats with almost no cushion, no lumbar support, no reclining, no sound... nothing, except a half-sized tray and pouch. You'll have a sore back within the first 30 minutes of the flight. Worth it only for the price."

Then, I did not like that they seemed to charge for everything - coffee, tea, soda and juice, most seats open required a fee during booking and even carry ons cost, which was not made clear up front when I purchased the ticket or I would NOT have booked with them. Knowing this would've caused me to rethink the ticket purchase in comparison to other airlines. I will not choose Frontier again on purpose! It's not worth it."

One personal item is allowed but if it doesn't fit entirely under the seat you will be charge a fee "greater than $40" to change it to a carry on. My personal item did not fit and I was not charged for a carry on. Personally I would be very upset if I had paid for a carry on and seen people like me get around this. No free snacks or drink on the flight either. Frontier needs to be more transparent with their pricing and take a lesson from an airline like Alaska that gives free beer and wine on their flights. Their website is very difficult to use on an iPhone and the only option is to print the boarding pass - not to email it or add it to passbook. I do not have a printer so I had to download the frontier app in order to avoid printing at the airport. It is clear that Frontier Airlines is pushing the bounds of "calculated misery""
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and there was no effort to get me onto another flight any sooner than they possibly had to. When they finally did get me on a flight a day and a half later instead of an hour layover I had a 9 hour layover and when I asked if it was possible to get on an earlier flight I was given attitude and treated very rudely and dismissed in spite of how polite I was. In addition to getting in two days late and coming in at 3am, my luggage was lost and there was no one who could assist me in the entire airport and when I called their customer service I was eventually hung up on, after sitting on the phone for 15 minutes, as it was after hours. When I did get a hold a representative the next day they were very put out that I didn't want to make the two hour drive to the airport to get my luggage and instead wanted it delivered. Worst experience I've ever had after many years of heavy travelling. Absolutely terrible."

The crew helped out whenever we needed assistance, allowing us to board ahead of others so we did not hold up the process. Flight departed & arrived on time which was critical as sitting on the plane was not comfortable for someone with a back injury; any delay would have seemed like an eternity."

Cons: "After being told there was a mechanical issue with the plane (already nerve-wracking) we waited an hour to receive any additional updates. The flight crew then told us that the flight was "99% canceled." After that, everyone in the area got up to wait in line, but instead of helping people rebook their flights immediately, the flight crew just disappeared and never came back. I ended up re-booking with a different airline and had to call customer service in order to have my money refunded for that flight. I did receive two travel vouchers, but I'd rather just have the $100 because I'll never book with Spirit Airlines again. Not to mention the literal 280 emails I received the exact same email update over and over and over again telling me that my flight was delayed until the next day. That's right, they never canceled (as they should have) and just delayed it further and further. If I had just waited around for updates from the delay, I would have had to spend the night in the airport and miss work the next day (which I already had to do because I had to rebook with another airline). Thank GOD I didn't have any checked luggage or I really would have been screwed."

I found the whole experience pretty unpleasant and will generally avoid Spirit."

They offered me the same flight the next day for an extra $100. I turned it down since I found a flight the same day for $78 on American (and decidedly a better flight experience)."

They threatened to kick 6 drunks off the plane before we left Las Vegas for being belligerent, loud, and obnoxious and then the crew proceeded to sell and serve them more alcohol. The crew sat back and did nothing while one drunk passenger antagonized another passenger and his girlfriend nearly the entire flight."

I spent extra time making sure my bags fit their size and weight requirements. They weighed both checked bags together (mine and my co-traveler) - so the overall weight just had to be under 80#. The plane was newer and very simple. It wasn't a full flight so we had lots of room. Our return flight was much more full and that was when the leg room was tough because we have long legs."

The trip was nothing more than a big sales pitch to continue investing in the company. I understand that business is business, but this went too far. Furthermore, after one of my flights was cancelled due to weather, I was informed that the soonest Spirit could fly me out would be 3 days later. Understandably, Spirit is a small airline, so I'm sure this was not uncommon. When I asked to be transferred to another airline to leave sooner, I was told that Spirit was not responsible for getting me to my destination any faster. A woman at the 'help desk' then took a leisurely 45 minutes (while my flight was boarding) telling me that buying any other flight would cost me between $2,000-$3,000. Spirit airlines is treating their customers like credit cards to be swiped. The self-centered money-hungry culture throughout Spirit will surely be their downfall if swift action is not taken immediately."

Still nothing said about cancellation. Was told to print my pass at the kiosk, was told my flight was cancelled again. And it now stated online that it was. Went back to the counter. They had no idea what was going on and tried to tell me it wasn't cancelled. They didn't know how to find out. Then we waited for 15 for another clerk to verify the connection was cancelled. And by that time all flights were rebooked (except us!) and they basically said we could wait in another city for three days or sorry you're out of luck."

The missing life vest should have been detected much earlier that morning, since it was the first flight of the day for that aircraft. First morning flights should not take off one hour late....the aircraft was sitting overnight at the airport."
