Pros: "With all the competition among airlines and the cutbacks we suffer as customers Delta manages to make you feel like you matter still. Timely boarding, actual help with finding seats making boarding efficient (not just hurrying you along), updates from the cockpit that you could hear and understand, multiple choices in snacks-one even a healthy option, staff that was friendly and interested in making it a good experience not one that seemed bothered they had to work."

The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

How they could not make us aware of this until we were boarding the airplane is unbelievable and unacceptable. This has ruined our vacation which has been in planning for the last six months."

The staff kept coming around with water and asking if there was anything else we needed. They gave free blankets. The lavatories were a little larger and more well lit than other airlines."

Cons: "The Atlanta Airport is Insane for the handicapped. Try to get through the airport with 1. Your own scooter, 2. How to get into and back out of the elevators and trains and 3. The 1000s of people to make your flight in an hour at this unfamiliar airport Now try to do that when your wife also has to get around with her scooter and try to stay together. Then if your flight gets moved to another gate...and you have 10 minutes to do ALL this again... Never mind the bathrooms while one of us watches the scooters while the other uses the facilities and this is Impossible. Never mind the narrowness of the elevators. STRONGLY SUGGEST AN AIRLINE EMPLOYEE TRIES TO SEE THE PROBLEMS FIRST HAND with a scooter, THEN RECOMMEND FIXES. And don't get me started on the restarants with tables too close together if you use a scooter. Toronto airport is better as a comparison. Alton and Mary Cason"

My later/original flight ended up being delayed multiple times (not due to weather) and given no explanation for why."

Cons: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."

Cons: "I was traveling alone with my tired, cranky 13 month old. I get that it's no fun for anyone, including me, to have a tired toddler on the flight! But from the moment we boarded the flight attendant was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for help putting a heavy bag in the overhead compartment. She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."

Cons: "After everyone boarded they said they had a 2 hour delay and if you got off the plane your flight would be cancelled. After an hour of sitting on the plane they got everyone off so a different plane could board and take off and then everyone got back on the plane and continued to wait. We left 2.5 hours late and when we arrived at the destination the plane couldn't contact the tower?!?! So we waited another 30 mins...ridiculous, rude, and rather fly southwest"

WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE I COUNTED 7 OVERHEAD STORAGE BINS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO MY AISLE WHERE I WAS SEATED WERE NOT FILLED AND THERE WERE SEVERAL SUCH BINS ON MY SIDE OF THE AISLE (I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO COUNT THEM BEFORE I SAT DOWN). I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. AND VAN."

Said I had been refunded but was in Q for receipt. I asked for my luggage and it took numerous trips to desk to ask where it was and finally 2 . 1/2 hour later I got my luggage but no receipt. It was chaos in departure terminal of people trying to rebook or refund"

Cons: "This flight was canceled at the last minute and all passengers were told they needed to find another flight because the airline didn’t have any to rebook them on. Passengers had to pay out of pocket for new flights. Frontier said they would reimburse but I haven’t seen anything yet."

Cons: "Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline."

I probably would have still flown with them because even with extras the price was the best. However, still surprised that the seats are hard and don't recline, unless you pay $50 extra, and the "tray" wouldn't hold both a snack and a beverage. Spirit airline is the same, but gives you all the info up front."

Cons: "Shared my row with 500lb people and though two rows ahead of me had two empty seats I couldn't move to be comfortable. This beast of a woman couldn't put her arm rest down and therefore her body was smashing mine the whole time. It was disgusting."

Cons: "Flight was over 2 hours late. Missed my scheduled flight in Denver, did get on a later flight that night, but got in very late. Ticket agent at the desk before I left MSP took my boarding pass for flight from Denver to SLC, not sure if he listed me on the wrong flight out of Denver or if the agent at the desk in Denver printed the wrong boarding pass. A SLC and Las Vegas flight were at neighboring gates when I realized something was wrong. I'd been printed a boarding pass for the flight to Las Vegas instead of SLC. Glad I noticed it before the last flight to SLC left. Was suffering at the time with a bout of diverticulitis, the straight up and down, nonreclining seats were horrific for me."

Cons: "The most uncomfortable seats ever. Seats don't recline. They are very hard and you ache after the flight. Not recommended"

When I went to the airport to check in, 5$3 man at the counter said he was off shift and just walked away with no one to release him. It took us 15 minutes to get checked it. There are also NO barf bags anywhere to be found on flight. It was awful. Our flight arrived AN HOUR early and it was extremely turbulent and I barfed so much. It was disgusting. & will never take Frontier again."

Cons: "There was nothing about any part of this experience to like. When I made the reservation, I accidentally hit the wrong date button and did not notice until I received my email. I contacted customer service immediately, the rep. Was extremely rude and charged me an additional $200 on my ticket to move it to the next day. He charged my Card and did not make the changes. I received an email stating, no changes were made to my Itinerary, it still had the same wrong date, but my credit card had been charged the $200 fee. I called back and got a more helpful person, but was told to contact the flight insurance company, I purchased, to discuss refunding the additional charge. Not only do you pay for your bags, but you pay for your seats, your beverages, your snacks, and your mistakes. I guess that's how they manage to keep costs down. But then again, you get what you pay for!"

Zero entertainment and the seating areas are too tight to open up your laptop (to watch a movie) When I added my baggage costs (carry on bags are charged too!), and seat selection costs, the total airfare wasn't cheaper than other, more comfortable flights!"

I have never had to pay for that before on a flight - EVER. The frontier lady at the gate was extremely rude when I asked a question."

Cons: "airline charged me a $75 fee for my bag being slightly overweight and then took over an hour to return our bag, causing us to miss our bus and costing an additional $80 for a cab as that was the only option after the bus. Worst airline service I have ever had in my life. Never flying frontier again."

Cons: "Around the time we should have been starting our descent into Denver, the pilot came overhead and said we had been re-routed an hour north due to storms and would land in about another hour. It would have been nice if they had notified us of the change as it happened. Also, when I bought my ticket online, I was left thinking I had to purchase a carry-on despite the fact that it would fit under the seat in front of me. As it turnes out, I didn't have to and was out that money. I was also caught by surprise by having to pay extra for my seat selection."

Pros: "Feeling like cattle on a flight delayed 2 hours, in uncomfortable seats and waiting nearly an hour (at 1:00 AM) for luggage to arrive at the carousel. this all translates to getting home at 2:00 AM with a back ache."

Cons: "No excuse for running out of ice . Said they didn't pack the normal amount of ice on a Vegas flight ! Paying for cokes then not having ice is crazy."
