Cons: "A guy passed out prior to boarding, then they put him on the flight. We push back from the gate and start the engines and the guy passes out again. Now we are delayed 35 minutes. Why did they put someone one the flight that was clearly sick before he ever boarded then you make everyone miss their connection in Dallas. We got to the gate for our connecting flight 9 minutes before the pushed back from the ramp and they would not let us on??? WTF poor customer service!! Fly southwest from now on!"

Cons: "The first class flight attendants were VERY RUDE to the passengers getting on the plane, especially the male flight attendant. While serving drinks, instead of saying things like "pardon me", they would say "move" (as was said directly to me) and get out of the way" (as I herd him say to another passinger). Very disrespectful way to treat a person, let alone a paying customer! Btw...I am a middle class 5' 11" tall college educated male."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Pros: "Although winter storm Jonas wreaked havoc on our flight schedule, AA agents worked hard to re-route us repeatedly each time one of our scheduled flights was canceled. We were originally supposed to fly to San Juan, but due to all the flight cancelations & delays, we would have missed our cruise ship, so AA flew us to St. Thomas to catch up with our ship. Agents, pilots, flight attendants were all in a good mood in spite of all the stress from problems created from the storm."
Cons: "Very tight quarters on some of the flights. A few of the newer planes had more leg room which was appreciated. I understand there will be some free wifi & a few free snacks in the near future. I hope that is true because sometimes it is hard to have enough time to grab a sandwich between flights. Free Wifi and/or movies would not only help parents trying to entertain their kids, but I think all of us passengers would be in a much better mood if we could have something to watch to distract us from the tight quarters. One of my favorite suitcases was ruined, but AA has offered to repair or replace it."

Once you add in the higher baggage fee, the seat fees (no free seats), the flight is priced the same if not higher than other airlines but the real difference is in all of this is customer service. The lead flight attendant on the my flight was extremely rude and unresponsive. My mother had a wheelchair assist her to the gate for our departing flight in Orlando. This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

The flight attendants from Denver to Charlotte were rude and not accommodating. The exit row in front of me was completely empty however instead of being able to move to a more spacious seat in the empty row, I was told I needed to pay an extra 50 dollars. I sat on a long red eye flight very uncomfortable while the three open seats in the exit row went unused."

Pros: "Seats were so close together they had to scoop out the back of the seat in front of you to make knee room. The seats did not recline. Which was ok for this short trip but would be bad on a longer flight. Flight attendants were excellent. Flight left on time. Arrive early. All good things. Bad:!you had to pay for everything except water. Good: the plane was noticeably clean!"

I wasn't going to be leaving until after I was supposed to arrive at my destination. I was hoping for the flight to change back, so I got to the airport with ample time and ended up sitting around for a long time. Don't understand how it could have been delayed four hours before it was supposed to even leave."

This airline is more like a spirit air where you are charged for everything extra, but the ticket price is more than spirit air. Really felt nickled & dimed with the charges for carry on, seat choice, sodas, etc. I will try to not fly frontier in the future if there are other options available."

Pros: "Both out and return flights were within 30 minutes (early or late) of scheduled departure and arrival. I am aware of the carry-on policy and usually use an overnight bag and have never had to pay for luggage when I didn't intend to. They are pretty up front about their policies regarding seats and carry ons in my opinion. Discount airline flying is not for everyone, but I've never been treated like the ticket I paid for and would classify my overall experiences with Frontier as positive."
Cons: "I"m 5"8 and my knees were right at the seat, so not the most comfortable ride ever. I know I can pay for the upgrade, but it defeats the point of the super cheap ticket for me, so I usually just suck it up for flights less than 2 hours and upgrading is always an option."

Cons: "Frontier staff, beginning with check-in were unprofessional, unfriendly and not customer focused. Our flight was late and there was very little communication as to why. It turns out that the lock on the lavatory door was broken so they had to duck tape it shut. A woman fainted as she was boarding the plane --- the paramedics were called. No announcement was made about the situation and passengers continued to board, stepping over this poor woman laying on the ground. The seats on the plane were incredibly uncomfortable and the crew unfriendly."

There is zero leg room and to be honest, the lack of leg room feels like a safety hazard. Not sure how Frontier can get away with this, because if there was a disaster and you needed to exit the plane quickly I'm not sure it would get done. It's disappointing how much an airline will nickel and dime its customers to death for things like checked baggage, choosing seats (so I could actually sit next to my wife) and even carry-ons. I think we've determined we'll never fly Frontier again, nor will we advocate for them in the future."

Never flying Frontier again if I can avoid it."

Pros: "Absolutely the worst airline I have ever been on! You buy the ticket under the assumption you got a great deal. What they do not not tell you is that when you purchase an economy ticket, which everyone buys except first class you have to pay for carry on. Your first checked in bag costs $40, any bag after that is $45. So my carry on bag cost $45! Between my husband and I we spent a total of $170 on luggage for two checked bags and two carry ons. So if you are bringing any luggage with you, go on a different airline, you will save money by the end of the day. Also, all drinks and food are for purchase."

Pros: "The contact points I had at each step were very friendly. Out welcome to Charlotte from the flight attendant warmed me with joy on a joyous holiday. Yet, I was not informed of the fee for carryon luggage moments before boarding. It was a shared experience a passenger checking in next to me. It was a great flight."

You can even lean forward on your tray table bc the seat in front is too close and the tray table in 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. Cons: "Flight was late by an hour. This then caused us to have to wait over 2 hours on the plane to be able to get off. US customs was backed up with flights that should have arrived after us. This caused us to miss our connection. The connection time for us was 3 hours and we still missed that flight. They then suggested that it was not their fault and that they would get us on the next flight on the next day at night. We decided to get our money back and bought a ticket with Southwest Airlines instead. They lack in taking responsibility for their mistakes. Their employees don't care and continue on as if nothing is wrong. Our whole flight missed each and every connection. we are all here with Southwest ready to fly out in a couple of hours."

To make a long story short, I had to purchase a new ticket on another airline in order to get home to Atlanta last night. Please communicate with me as soon as possible and clarify this mess. It was honestly embarassing and at the same turn i purchased the upgraded seats to be away from non sense on the plane.. Those 5 stewards made my wife and i feel like we were sitting a bar poolside back in cancun on the strip. Not only that but these 5 stewards stayed in the very front of the plane, by my seat, talkin and eating their lunches the entire 90 minutes flight. Had this flight been longer than 90 minutes i may have actually said something to these vwry unprofessional new comers. Spirit airlines need to do some serious management control and better vetting of employees.. Will never fly spirit again. Seirously a very sad representation of their airlines."

Cons: "no communication when 2 men taken off plane causing delays. no one to direct us to next flight. door of connecting flight shut in our faces (10 of us going on to Newark) and then plane sat at gate for 15 more minutes. discount coupon offered to spend the night costing more than other hotels in area. no transportation provided to hotels. no food or water provided. Spirit ticketing agents disappeared and left for the day leaving hundreds of us seeking rebooking and help. given a card to rebook "Online" but I'm 75 and don't own a smartphone, therefore not an option for us. waited in line 3 HOURS to get rebooked!!!!!.."

Cons: "Flight cost less then a hundred dollars but our luggage cost over $220??? I get the pay for what you use, but $55 per carry on and $50 for luggage and only up to 40 pounds where other airlines are 50 pounds. Would not fly with this carrier again, JetBlue or SW are much better options in this market."

Pros: "Plane has more leg room than most other airlines."
Cons: "General ticket prices are so cheap because the airline doesn't openly broadcast their policy about carry on and checked bag fees. These are more expensive than any other airline I've flown with. I've never heard of an airline charge for carry on baggage which was very disappointing to say the least. This flight was a basic "no frills" trip, meaning that you get the bare minimum snacks, with a tiny seatback tray that isn't even big enough to hold an iPad. Won't be flying with Spirit Airlines again."

Cons: "2 hr late with NO updates changed lateness every 30 min to later."

Pros: "Nothing really. It was the least expensive flight but we will never fly Spirit again ."
Cons: "My "personal item" fit into the carry on bin and the still charged me $51.00 for that item, as well as the checked. Ah of $52. I knew we would pay for the checked bag, but over $50 for a checked AND small carry on is totally ridiculous! Our baggage fees were $111 for 1 checked and 1 tiny carry on. Why did we pay for a carry on that fit into the "free personal item!?" The seats were terribly close together . The seats did not recline . Overall bad experience!"

Cons: "I was randomly selected by the airline to do an intensive screening. And when I was minutes late to my flight I had to reschedule for the next day. And now I have to take THREE flights just to get from Florida to Colorado today. Over the course of 13 hours. No help with a hotel and very little consideration. If you don't figure out how to take better care of your fliers in these situations. Then they won't ever fly with you again. Costing you more than it would have costed to help with a hotel. But it was nice flying with spirit when I did! Thanks! Never again."

Pros: "Attendant on intercom with flight instructions was sarcastic and making inappropriate jokes. Attendants were complaining about him."

Pros: "The flight was smooth and a great landing. Any snacks or food are additional fees. Flight was short as it was from Cancun to Fort Lauderdale. Seat was comfortable, it doesn't recline however. And because of immigration lines were too long they had us wait in the airplane for 1.5 hours, not spirits fault though."

Cons: "My bag was the only one they lost on a direct flight... how does that even happen? It's spirit to I expect the uncomfortable seats, no food, ect..."

Cons: "It took forever to get the luggages."

Cons: "I don't mind the bare fare, a-la-carte pricing. Its different but once I understood it, I could manage. On my flight to Ft. Lauderdale from Denver, I witnessed a male flight attendant being exceptionally rude to every person passing him while entering the plane. He then proceeded to belittle and talk down to each customer he talked to about moving jackets and correct placement of personal vs. carry on items. There was plenty of room in overhead bins once the plane was loaded. This flight attendant, talked to people as if we knew have rule he did and if they didn't he became aggressive and rude. At one point an older gentleman in his late 60's questioned what the rude flight attendant was saying and the attendant snapped. He screamed at the man and then threatened to have him removed for challenging what he said. I was afraid to ask for water or to even stand up because of how your flight attendant responded to an honest question. I have been flying for 30years and have never experienced such vile behavior on an airplane. The male flight attendant had brown hair was around 6ft tall, not big but not in good shape and wore glasses. I hope that he never is able to threaten people in flight again. The atrocious behavior i witnessed, has me never wanting to fly with spirit again. On the way home from Mexico, our flights were timed 1hr apart but yet it took 2+ hrs to go through customs. Do to this poor planning on behalf of spirit, we missed our flight and had to spend another unexpected night in Florida. I incurred charges for taxis, hotels, expensive food and missing work. When I spoke with spirit staff members they refused to help. One suggested I should pay money for a new flight. Its took me 5 employees to finally find someone who offered to fix the flights for the next day for no extra cost. I was offered no compensation for my inconvenience and time."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that spirit delayed our flight on the tarmac and caused us to miss our connecting flight and told us it wasn't there fault. They refused to do anything for us, and we had to purchase a hotel room and dinner since we were now stuck over 15 hours. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever expierienced. The main ladies name was Helen and she was terrible."

Cons: "The seats are small and they don't lean back. This makes for very uncomfortable plane ride"

Pros: "On time flight and didn't lose luggage"
Cons: "Have to buy everything, plane appear cheaply made, worrisome, Plane engine made loud noise just after takeoff that worried myself and my friend that traveled with me. Also, I noticed other people had worried looks. Noise continued for sometime. After flying Spirit, I will pay more money to fly another airline."

Pros: "Fast boarding, nice crew, large overhead compartments"
Cons: "No free snacks or drinks. Seats were uncomfortable"

Cons: "Spirit stranded me in FLL, with no assistance"

Pros: "Staff at check in, baggage were very polite and friendly.. Couple of crew members in my 3 leg flight were sort of snappy, other were very friendly and some good joking went on. All in all will fly Spirit again except for heading on long trip like Cancun again. Other airlines have better deals and one just has to grab them."
Cons: "So disappointed in all airlines since they have added more seats, and leg room if of mininal confort. Pull down trays are almost useless, and seats were very uncomfortable with minimal leg room. Crew were very nice, sad that food and drink has to be purchased. Plane loaded and was on time, would fly Spirit again, but not my major airline. Water and soda isn't that expensive when purchased in bulk, and nice for your customers to have drinks available. Glad that I had purchased juice prior for my flight home. Your Website and availability to speak with a live person, leaves little to be desired. Not user friendly and for many seniors who are not comuter proficient could be an issue. Was unable to fly direct or even with 1 stop that was affordable. Left Cancun at 11:50 amand didn't get home till 1 AM. 3 legs Baggage rules are unreasonable, another reason for not purchasing gifts of plates, bowls or anyting that one could carry on with another airline."

Pros: "Flights were on time, crew was nice. Boarding went quickly and we were ready to go early."
Cons: "The seats are not comfortable - after a 2 hour flight my butt fell asleep, and no way to shift around unless you are willing to be rude to the people next to you or in front of you, since you're packed in like sardines. Have to pay to reserve a seat even though you have already paid for your flight, unless you want to risk not being seated next to your travel partner. Drinks are more expensive than at the airport bar, and the "bundles" only save you a couple bucks. Bags are really expensive (even prepaid), and the threshold for checked is 40lbs instead of 45-50 like most, so since I was 2 pounds over, I had to pay an extra $30 on top of what I had paid for the bag already. No wifi, so bring a book or laptop/tablet with movies loaded on it, or some other entertainment. The initial fare pulls you in for looking super cheap, but after you add bags and seats and all that, it's really not much cheaper than a Southwest flight. I'd rather pay the extra for a more comfortable seat, wifi, and no stress on whether I packed the wrong clothes that will raise my bag weight that extra pound."

Pros: "The flight times were reasonable. The actual flight was OK. Boarding was organized."
Cons: "The pre paperwork was annoying and tedious. The cost of baggage was illogical. We were traveling with no opportunity to print a boarding pass and the charge was $10. After landing there was a delay to the gate and a long wait before opening the door. Once you take into account the added time and charges it is not as low cost as originally advertised. It adds to my sense that air travel has nothing to do with the customer."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled and they did not even help me find a different one"

Cons: "Where to start... I understand the concept of a base fee and you pay a la carte for everything else but this only really works for a single person traveling with a small personal item ONLY. You are literally charged for EVERYTHING. Which is mostly stated on their website with the exception of the checked bag and carry on fees of $50 and $55, respectively. Those fees can vary depending on who you ask....And even though they say you can save by using the kiosk ($20 to go to the counter), we ended up going to the counter anyway because the kiosk could not complete our transaction!!! On our return, we had to go through customs which requires you to get your checked bag (decided to save the $5 and check it on the way home), go through customs and then drop off your checked bag to continue your flight. Well, the Spirit representative decided it would be a great time to take a break and be completely MIA from their post. We had to go completely out of the terminal and back to a counter to recheck our bag. Resulting in a very close call on not making our connecting flight. The long and short of it all: We "Saved" $100.00 total on the initial ticket purchase. We paid over $220.00 ADDITIONAL to have our one carry on and sit next to each other ($20.00 each seat, each leg of trip). Never flying Spirit again and have been telling everyone not to. Bad Spirit!"

Cons: "Careful with spirit random sitting politics. Recently I bought a ticket with spirit with random seats. I did my check in the night before my flight as usual and the next day I got to the airport they told me Spirit have this article in the "contract" that typically flights are oversell. So basically, if you buy random seats, and appear at the last 5 peopleto check in, you might loose your flight."

Cons: "We prepaid luggage on-line and the check in at counter still took 30 minutes because employee at counter couldn't see proof on her end that we had pre paid. We traveled with our three kids under 8 and they would do nothing to seat us next to each other. We couldn't check in on-line so we were considered late check in, despite checking in at the airport 2 hours before the flight. We boarded and sat on the plane for an hour then deplaned due to faulty weather radar. 3 hour delay. Still no help to seat our family together. Very swaying and bumpy take off and landing. Seats don't recline. No drinks or snacks passed out, only for a charge. Cheapest airline ever. Will never fly again on Spirit. Flight home also delayed over an hour. Oh, and luggage max is 40, not 50 lbs., and they charge per bag per direction. They also charge you to book seats next to each other, despite us booking our flights months in advance and checking in 2 hours prior."

Pros: "Crew members were nice. Quiet landing."
Cons: "Carry on baggage size is smaller than usual which makes checked baggage almost mandatory at a 50 dol per piece rate."

Pros: "It was okay but a lot of restrictions. We lost an item on the plane and was not able to contact a person to have it checked out if they found it. It was a remote key to the car which we think it fell out of the overhead storage compartment . Would love to get it back if found."
Cons: "The weight of 40 lb. bags. Extra charges for the seats after we already paid for the tickets."

Cons: "Paid $52 to check a bag at checkin on my way to Cancun. Paid $41 to check a bag on my return flight by doing it online. Would have needed to pay $55 and $45 to carry my bag on. So, if you think you are getting a deal by booking Spirit, think again. Also, was probably the rudest crew I have ever dealt with."
