Top airlines flying Quintana Roo to Seattle/Tacoma Intl
Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "All is great but the KC customs officers were rude and just hateful.."
Cons: "Customs officials"
Pros: "I arrived."
Cons: "It was an hour after boarding before take off. Another 15 minutes on the ground after landing waiting for a gate at midnight on a weekday. I understand that circumstances occur beyond the airlines control, but this has been routinely occurring on my trips with Frontier. Absent compelling reasons, I will not be flying with them again."
Pros: "Cheap tickets"
Cons: "You must experience the rigid, non-reclining seats packed impossibly close together to get the full Frontier experience. Nonetheless they often have the cheapest airfare so what is a budget traveler to do?"
Cons: "The captain of the flight was running late. We had already boarded when we found out that the captain wasn't going to make it and that they were on hold with scheduling to try and find a replacement. Half an hour later they had us de-plane. From there we waited around for another 2 hours before a replacement was able to make it. They had us board again, and then we were waiting on ground crew to come push us back from the gate for another 20 minutes. It was a disaster. We got into Seattle almost four hours later than we originally should have. The attendants were short with all of us. Granted there were quite a few people who were being nasty. I understand that it wasn't in their control. But customer service is. They all fell short."
Pros: "Staff was friendly and flight was quiet."
Cons: "I once loved Frontier and used them exclusively. Now, however, their new seats destroy my spine before taxiing from the gate. It is the most uncomfortable airline I have had to use... ever! I feel like their planes are so overpacked that, were there ever an accident, just getting out of my seat would pose a challenge. I willl avoid them at all cost in the future. It is no fun fkying in those seats for 3hrs then trying to enjoy your destination. Never again!!!!!"
Cons: "Crew not that friendly. When boarding first flight attendant seemed annoyed that I asked her about my seat. ** there is a fee for about everything on frontier. I would rather pay additional for the tickets on other airlines because the process to check in luggage, get to the gate, and have the Benicia of not being charged for every little thing is WORTH IT. You end up paying more to fly frontier by the time you are done paying for the extras. I prefer the one stop shop. Convenient and no drama."
Cons: "Was not aware of the cost to carry on a bag or pre assign general seats. Would avoid flying Frontier in the future unless no other options were available."
Pros: "Crew was polite"
Cons: "Staff tried to make me pay for two carry-on's for one bag and one purse--totaling to $90. You have to pay for soft drinks. Generally bad experience and a rip off."
Cons: "We were part of the week when Frontier had a horrendous problem with on-schedule flights. We were two hours late for a 2.5 hour flight. At the gate, attendants were very poor at communicating. Couldn't hear them on the PA. Several people asked me "do you know what zone they are currenly loading?". They board weirdly - instead of back to front. When we got on (seated near the very rear) there were people seated everywhere. Slowed down loading, which slowed down departure. (2.5 hours late) Rows too close together, absolutely no leg room. Seats are the bare minimum - wouldn't recommend a long flight. Not sure I will fly with Frontier again. Will have to pony up the dollars for a better airline."
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "The nickel and diming. Good lord."
Pros: "The announcement (although I didn't take them up on it) to offer two domestic round trips if I'd sign up for one of their Mastercards. It's probably not a bad deal for someone who likes to have lots of credit cards and doesn't mind annual fees, I'm just not one of those people."
Cons: "My inability to access their e-mail offers to set things up ahead of time and at lower costs than paying them at the airport check-in, above and beyond the baggage charges themselves (Seventy bucks), especially for my carry on ... COME ON! I've become used to Southwest's far more enlightened policies, which I obviously prefer. Since it also has flights between Seattle and Denver, I'll look much more closely at staying with them the next time I make this trip."
Cons: "I am never flying Frontier Airlines again. Hidden fees everywhere that make the price much, much less of a deal than it looked when I did the price comparisons against some legitimate airlines. Frontier charged for carry-on bags, tried to charge for seat assignments (all of the available seats & not just the desired ones), charged for every beverage including sodas. Frankly I was surprised they didn't charge for water! Seats didn't recline at all & were like sitting on a metal folding chair for 5 hours. Food tray was about 3 inches wide, could barely put a plastic cup on it let alone a laptop or anything like that. Deceptive pricing combined with crappy accommodations - a combination I will avoid next time."
Pros: "Left late but made up some of the time. Staff were nice."
Cons: "Left late, then sat on the tarmac for almost 30 mins to take off. Cramped again and not happy about the extra fees (see above)."
Cons: "Behind, plane troubles, and very uncomfortable seats. Not worth the money"
Pros: "The crew was professional and curtious."
Cons: "If you're going to charge people for things like carry on, and seat assignment there's no chance you'll ever be my go-to airline again. If you are going to charge that much, at least give me a free cookie, include a tv on back of my seat. Most of all, give the the option to recline my seat!"
Pros: "The price was good."
Cons: "But not that good."
Pros: "I like that it is inexpensive because I would not be able to fly otherwise."
Cons: "I've ridden Frontier several times but never have I ridden on a flight that doesn't even let you put your seat back. For a 4 hour red-eye, this was a huge disappointment."
Cons: "First time flying Frontier. Great advertised rate round trip Sea to Denver $140 vs next best AK at $170. Receive email to pick seat, Suprise... They cost $9-36 each way, no mention of free seats if you just show up and go open seating. also Suprise# 2 carrying are $40 each way. I choose $18 seats and had a carry on so total trip ended up being $140 + $126 in a frontier gotcha money an increase in fare of almost double. I did find out about the seat chafe scam before checking in and asked to just go open seat.....uhh no. So how much would the Alaska Air trip have been....$170 plus $0 for assigned seat and $0 for carry on so $170. So fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.... Their will not be a twice and I suggest Kayak add some notes to fares to avoid future bilking by Frontier."
Pros: "I liked the cheap ticket price."
Cons: "I felt a bit nickle and dimed with having to purchase water on the flight and being charge for bags, even "carry ons". I also couldn't believe that the seats didn't recline AT ALL?!"
Pros: "charge for carry on, no let room"
Pros: "The price was right and the flight arrived early."
Cons: "New seats on Frontier planes are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, don't recline, have a nonexistent tray table, etc. The crew was not friendly, but I'm sure that's largely attributed to the fact that they have to deal with angry customers who have to pay for a carry-on, any type of beverage, and the air they breathe during the flight. Never flying Frontier again if I can avoid it."
Pros: "The return Flight arrived early and the Frontier employees where all very nice."
Cons: "The most uncomfortable seating I've ever experienced. I'm not a big guy and I was squeezed in my seat. At check in I HAD to pay extra for a seat, prices ranged from $40 - $13. This was not just to upgrade but any seat, I thought I was purchasing a seat when I bought the ticket? Also if you have baggage you have to pay whether you check it or it carry-on. If I'm going to be charged to check my bag I will then have an expectation of receiving a service. Baggage on both the arrival & return took longer then on other carriers. After paying for all the hidden fees, this flight was only about $10 less than a carrier with better seating and up front pricing. I can not recommended Frontier."
Pros: "Arriving to my destination"
Cons: "If I wanted to pay $200 more for my flight not this "good deal" I would have flown United and payed up front so it was budgeted. I have never flown Frontier so I didn't know I was going to be getting taken both coming and going just for a seat reservation! Bags! Checking in early! NOT A DEAL"
Pros: "Cost of the flight was substantially less than another airline I was looking into and it was a nonstop flight, whereas the other airlines had 1 or 2 stops. Both flights were on time...everything went smoothly. Flight attendants were very pleasant."
Cons: "Paying for a carryon was unexpected; it adds about $35 each way), but you are able to carry a smaller bag at no charge."
Pros: "The flight attendants were nice. This is the best I can say about Frontier Airlines."
Cons: "Whoever designed the seats does not understand the human form. They were TORTUOUS to sit it. I had to take my emergency anti-nausea pill, the seats torked my body so badly. I was in so much pain after I arrived at my destination at both ends, I needed medical help. Charging extra for every little thing was insane. They didn't even give you a basic drink without drooling into your wallet. I have never been charged for a carry on bag before. Checked luggage yes, but never carry on. Both on the flight out and on the flight in, they missed the boarding gate, so we had to wait a long time while they lined it up with the airplane. A frightening lack of training here. Flying sucks. I understand that; that's the way of the system now. This went so far beyond the basic suckage of the regular flying experience, it was unbelievable. Frontier will NEVER be getting my money again. Probably the most expensive flight for the least comfort and amenities you could find."
Pros: "bare bones but excellent, not just on time but early!!!!!"
Pros: "Cheaper tickets"
Cons: "No professionalism by gate staff Poor boarding timing Small plane and tight uncomfortable seats No direct flights unless you're flying from Denver. High prices to check bags No snacks or drinks"
Cons: "1: We have paid to be part of TSA Pre-Check, but Frontier does not put this info on their boarding passes. What's with that? 2: We waited along with everyone else on the flight for over 40 minutes for our to arrive. Really? Really?"
Pros: "it was a seat at least"
Cons: "The air on the plane was not working. People over heated as we were landing and they had to call an emergency crew in to take care of the passengers. The airline did not explain the charge for carryon witch added another 70 dollars to the round trip flight. There was no food or drink with out paying for it, including water."
Pros: "Beer was cheaper on the flight than in the airport."
Cons: "Flight was late to board, chairs where uncomfortable and my seat keep being kicked from behind"
Pros: "Flight was on time. Pilot was communicative. Easy boarding and deboarding process."
Pros: "Great flight but no frills and you cant lean back in your seat."
Pros: "The flight was very smooth, the landing was even smoother. The best part was it was almost 45 minutes shorter than expected!"
Cons: "Did not like the seats. No adjustments at all. Felt like sitting in a narrow lawn chair. I think my smartphone is bigger than the fold Down tray tables that are now used."
Pros: "The attendants were friendly, and I sat next to a great gal."
Cons: "The small trays were ridiculous. No beverages and having to ask for a free water seemed below average for airline amenities. We sat on the runway for 45 minutes "waiting for the processing papers." Still made it on time, but it was not a good way to start."
Cons: "My mother did not get one of her bag back when we arrived in Seattle"
Cons: "Uncomfortable seating"
Pros: "They took my bags"
Cons: "They lost my skis It took 30+ minutes for anything to disembark. They loaded another plane before moving any of our luggage to the"
Pros: "crew was nice"
Cons: "my bike and my girlfriend's bikes as well as the vast majority of our luggage were lost in transit and we are currently stuck in loreto mexico waiting to locate our things. hopefully this can be resolved quickly as it is becoming very costly and interrupting our travel plans."
Pros: "Overall, the flight was fine, but..."
Cons: "...I still can't believe we need to charge $2.00 for a can of soda. The airline is still making plenty, and this just makes me feel dirty. And thirsty. But not so thirsty it outweighs the dirty."
Pros: "Absolutely the worst airline I have ever been on! You buy the ticket under the assumption you got a great deal. What they do not not tell you is that when you purchase an economy ticket, which everyone buys except first class you have to pay for carry on. Your first checked in bag costs $40, any bag after that is $45. So my carry on bag cost $45! Between my husband and I we spent a total of $170 on luggage for two checked bags and two carry ons. So if you are bringing any luggage with you, go on a different airline, you will save money by the end of the day. Also, all drinks and food are for purchase."
Pros: "Rude crew, terrible seating and a horrible experience all around"
Cons: "The seats on their new planes are terribly uncomfortable- they don't recline, the tray tables are tiny, there's no entertainment. We waited on the Denver tarmac for 2 hours. They don't have any free snacks or coffee, and my bag did not make it with me back to Seattle. Because of the additional fees for baggage and seats coupled with discomfort and charge for beverages and snacks, and my delayed back my "great deal" on Frontier wasn't so great."
Pros: "I only buy Frontier for the price."
Cons: "The seats are horrible, awful, cramped & dont recline. Hard, too close, painful, no tray table room. UGH! Im still in pain."
Pros: "Very smooth landings"
Cons: "No seat reclines You have to pay for each seat. Not the flight amount but you have to pay for a seat! Not a single thing is include. Not even a bag of peanuts"
Pros: "Despite being late, staff was very friendly, plane was clean and new"
Cons: "Seats were alittle tight on leg room for taller people"
Pros: "I got to my destination in one piece and on time."
Cons: "Frontier's new seats have minimal padding, don't recline, and have pull down boards that are too small to fit anything more than your cell phone. Additionally, they charge $40 for carry-on baggage. There are no free snacks (or even water). The spacing between the seats is so small that I (5'11" man) had my knees jammed into the seat in front of me. The seats are also narrower than standard airplane seats as well. Also, be sure you're there more than 45 minutes before your flight, or you are S.O.L for checking any baggage or even checking in if you haven't managed to do so beforehand online (which is difficult, since the website has malfunctioned more often than not)."
Pros: "Staff on the ground and in the air was very friendly."
Cons: "I paid $35 per seat for extra legroom but the front row passengers directly ahead of us used the source under their seats preventing stowage of my own bags there. Also, those seats reclined where ours did not virtually eliminating any value of the $70 total I spent for the comfort and convenience of the extra space."
Cons: "Yelp - Frontier Airlines is the worst airline I have flown to date and I have been flying for over 30 years. The gouging and hidden fees you are stuck paying after you have booked your flight and shown up at the airport are getting way out of control. I have never before heard of having to pay for both your checked luggage and your carry on so your laptop bag to carry on is $40 and to check through is $ 30. So if you have only two bags one being electronics and the other bag say a small nap sac with your shaving gear and a change of clothes your looking at $70 if you check the small bag and $80 for both like I paid to carry them on with me. Then ask if you could put one on the floor under seat? I'm 6'3" and have barely enough room to sit period but take away my foot room also WTF? Ok wait it gets better when when they come around with the beverage cart and snacks, that's going to cost you. you have to pay for each of these now to. Cup of coffee, water or soda $2.00. I'm sure you all know the size of the cups they give you on a plane, and all must be purchased with credit or debit no cash excepted. So if your an international flyer that would be over $100.00 in carry on baggage a drink and a bag of pretzels including international exchange rates, and international credit card purchase fees. This would make up for 25% of my flight all revealed once you have already committed to your ticket because to get out of it would be a $175.00 change or cancellation fee. I will never consider or recommend this airline to anyone ever. It's bad enough that every time I fly I must repurchase all my shaving gear ie. Hair gel, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, I can't fly with even my nail clippers you never know when your going to be clipped on an airplane. So I buy and throw away every trip I go on."
Cons: "Those seats are horrible."
Cons: "They were very nice to me for volunteering to take next available flight"
Pros: "Very friendly crew."
Pros: "Comfortable seats and mostly friendly crew"
Cons: "Judgemental rookie flight attendant Dimensions of a standard size carry-on bag were supplied on website but did not include the wheels. So in the end, I had to pay for a personal item at the gate - which should have been free in my opinion - only because the wheels stuck out 1 inch"
Pros: "They got me there"
Cons: "Spirit is a horrid airline. The counter people were rude the flight crew was rude and unprofessional. The spoke about passengers that were in ear shot of them. They were just plain rude to customers"
Cons: "I didn't like having to pay my bag twice. My flight was delayed 2 hours causing me many issues upon my arrival."
Cons: "Door being closed when I was about to get inside. I won’t be boarding spirit again!"
Pros: "The crew was awesome!!"
Cons: "After buying my ticket, a day before boarding, I was charged separately for checking bags and carry-ones. Once I got to the airport, I was charged another $30 for the weight of my bag. I should have been made aware of these fees during the purchase of my ticket. Nearly $200 unexpectly taken away from my vacation fund. Soooo not cool. I believed I was getting a great deal, but in actuality I was being charged just as much as any other flight. The ride may have been better with another airline because the seats where compact, hard, and immobile. It’s definitely was my best experience."
Pros: "1st time trying your airline"
Cons: "Hidden fees, delays, baggage fees cost more than plane ticket. I was not told of extra cost to check in at airport. There was no update of delay, no passenger knew anything. Very disappointing."
Pros: "The price!"
Cons: "The seats are quite small, and the seats do not recline at all. So little leg room for those that are tall, like my husband."
Cons: "The crew very kind an smiley. Being in time."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "Stewardess were really cool"
Pros: "Price is the best deal in the market, unbeatable! Great crew’s service! Comfortable seats!"
Cons: "Weight limit on checked lugagge is 40 lbs. compared to 50 lbs in most airlines."
Pros: "We liked the on time and ahead of schedule flight, friendly staff, great piloting, and helpfull staff all around"
Cons: "We didnt like expensive carry on luggage, pay to switch seats, pay for water and coffee. Lots of paying.-seats do not lean back."
Pros: "Spirit has the worst planes super uncomfortable really long flight and it was not easy to get to go to the restroom also the flight attendants are very chatty and rude they didn't seem to happy to be there overall the worst part was paying for a carry on and then not having anywhere to put it."
Cons: "Everything was bad the bathroom was disgusting"
Cons: "Very poor service"
Pros: "Flight was on time."
Cons: "Very high rate to check in your bag, too much!"
Cons: "Children (3 within the age of 8-12)unattended left to pull on and kick the seat in front of them, loud arguing that was never addressed. My hair was pulled several times when they would grab the top of the seat to stand up or just harassing each other. I also witnessed them on cell phones that were not in airplane mode and never once did their parent reprimand them for their behavior. I had to do this from the seat in front of them. When the flight landed the entire family talked loudly about pushing their way off the plane to get to another flight, little did they know others had connecting flights to reach as well. Poor behavior & left to make others have a worse flight"
Pros: "The flight attendants were friendly"
Cons: "2 hours delay and not provided any explanation and very few updates during the wait. No offer of compensation, even the full charge for luggage was still requested. The lengthy solicitation of the credit card was tacky."
Cons: "Kayak doesn't make it clear while booking that this airline doesn't include a carry on bag , snacks, seat assignments, or beverages in the ticket price. My flight was 3 hours late due to a series of mistakes on their part. They don't even offer water for free. And we had to listen to a long and loud commercial for their credit card. I'm never flying with them again."
Pros: "Crew and plane were OK."
Cons: "Seats were terrible. I did not get any sleep on either cross country leg. I can usually sleep fine on planes, but the seats were plastic and had no head stabilizer, and did not recline. It was impossible to sleep. I had a "donut" pillow for my neck, but the seats really made it impossible. I won't fly Spirit again until I hear they have better seats."
Pros: "Funny flight attendant on the way to Houston. Loved his sense of humor. Good price for ticket"
Cons: "Very cold in the plane Boarding crew at the gate - looked and sounded like they just got out of college. They need a better script/training for making announcements. No option to check-in online without signing up for Free Spirit. Guess bare minimum means many things..."
Cons: "They delayed the flight on purpose such that they would not have to rebook on other airlines. As soon as the last flight to the destination left on another airline, they cancelled the flight and refused to rebook on any other airline. I got rebooked 2 days later. The cancellation was due to a lack of a crew."
Cons: "I need you to confirm me whether I purchased a round trip or a one-way. When I got to the spirit counter in Cancun, the staff lady told me she could not find my name, number or anything that would let her know that I had bought a return flight to Atlanta on spirit airlines. I don't see how I could have made that mistake so please tell me if I did purchase a round trip ticket. To make a long story short, I had to purchase a new ticket on another airline in order to get home to Atlanta last night. Please communicate with me as soon as possible and clarify this mess. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and phone is 662-352-1682. Thanks"
Pros: "Spirit airlines canceled my flight from Newark to FLL 1hr prior prior q0 departure did not accommodate me with any other flight had to book a flight with another airline at the cost of $560 to catch my connecting flight to Cancun Mexico"
Cons: "Spirit airlines canceled my flight from Newark to FLL 1hr prior prior q0 departure did not accommodate me with any other flight had to book a flight with another airline at the cost of $560 to catch my connecting flight to Cancun Mexico"
Pros: "Ticketing was busy but smooth, boarding was on time and controlled, Plane was clean. Crew was awesome."
Cons: "Lost my luggage ."
Cons: "Carry on bag costs 57 dollars!"
Pros: "Crew was friendly. The flight left on time. The plane was clean."
Cons: "Seats don't recline (that's really both good and bad). Spirit's a no frills carrier, so anything extra costs more."
Pros: "On time. Planes in good condition. Nice people."
Cons: "no communication when 2 men taken off plane causing delays. no one to direct us to next flight. door of connecting flight shut in our faces (10 of us going on to Newark) and then plane sat at gate for 15 more minutes. discount coupon offered to spend the night costing more than other hotels in area. no transportation provided to hotels. no food or water provided. Spirit ticketing agents disappeared and left for the day leaving hundreds of us seeking rebooking and help. given a card to rebook "Online" but I'm 75 and don't own a smartphone, therefore not an option for us. waited in line 3 HOURS to get rebooked!!!!!.."
Cons: "Flight cost less then a hundred dollars but our luggage cost over $220??? I get the pay for what you use, but $55 per carry on and $50 for luggage and only up to 40 pounds where other airlines are 50 pounds. Would not fly with this carrier again, JetBlue or SW are much better options in this market."
Cons: "Horrible customer service"
Cons: "Hughes charges not made aware at booking. Cost nearly $200 more just for carry- on luggage! Price better overall with other airlines not booking through kayak. Tight seats. Wouldn't print out my checking in ticket without charging me. So many hidden extras, not worth the $30 initial saving. Very upset."
Pros: "Plane has more leg room than most other airlines."
Cons: "General ticket prices are so cheap because the airline doesn't openly broadcast their policy about carry on and checked bag fees. These are more expensive than any other airline I've flown with. I've never heard of an airline charge for carry on baggage which was very disappointing to say the least. This flight was a basic "no frills" trip, meaning that you get the bare minimum snacks, with a tiny seatback tray that isn't even big enough to hold an iPad. Won't be flying with Spirit Airlines again."
Pros: "We got to our destination safely"
Pros: "Friendly staff."
Cons: "Food options were terrible. The only hot food was a horrible, extremely processed, "Instant Noodle Soup""
Cons: "Overpriced bag fees, rude flight attendants, shitty planes."
Cons: "The dont have it anywere during booking process that not a single bag will be allowed onboard. (i mean even a hand baggage). After that they say that they have it mentioned on the boarding pass. I dont think anyone reads that in particular. More over when i checked the lady did not have a problem. The lady a the boarding brigde wanted a 100 dollars just becuase we had 1 hand bag. Pure cheating."
Cons: "EVERYTHING!! YOU'RE CREW IS THE WORST! TRYING TO SUCK MORE MONEY FROM YOUNG TRAVELERS. I AM NEVER GOING TO FLY WITH YOU AGAIN. AND BE SURE THAT ANY OF OUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND ANY OTHER PEOPLE WE KNOW WON'T FLY WITH YOU TOO!!!"
Cons: "$52 to check bags, and bags can not weight over 40 punds. no assign seating unless you pay and additional fee. Over all the initial low cost of the boarding pass is vastly off set by the additional cost in service sfees like baggage check."
Pros: "Crew members were nice. Quiet landing."
Cons: "Carry on baggage size is smaller than usual which makes checked baggage almost mandatory at a 50 dol per piece rate."
Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "Uncomfortable planes, and nickle and diming just leaves you uncomfortable."
Cons: "They will charge you to breath on the flight. Don't get tricked by the low air fair, the extras will equal to more than any other flight you would've taken. $34 for checking in a bag, $32 for carry on. $5 for a soft drink on the plane. The customer service is also horrible all employees are extremely rude and don't care about you. I will never fly with them again and I suggest you shouldn't either."
Pros: "The price seen on Kayak does not reflect the reality of the charges form the airline. Additional costs for luggage are excessive compared to other airlines and you feel treated like a second class citizen."
Pros: "I liked the spaciousness of the seats, and in general the cabin felt a little less cramped than some planes. Great ticket price. I liked the crew a lot, friendly, quiet."
Cons: "Boarding was confusing, there were too many people whose zone wasn't called waiting around the entry way. This crowd appeared to be the line but in fact wasn't. No Spirit employee was around to help avoid it. This wasn't a real big deal but some airlines avoid it with a simple announcement, asking those who haven't been called to remain seated. I would suggest Spirit does something similar. I don't like all the extra charges, for example for a second carry-on, but I get it, it's your way of offering cheap flights. I gave the food and entertainment only 3 stars just because of the charge, I didn't actually purchase anything."
Pros: "Was a smooth, quick flight."
Cons: "Delayed a little over a half an hour."
Cons: "Had a round trip flight, Seattle to LA. Getting there was no problem, but my flight back got cancelled because of a maintenance issue. It was supposed to leave at 6am, which meant boarding at 5:20, which meant arriving at the airport at 4:30, which meant waking up at 3:45am. At 6am they said there would be a delay and the plane would leave at 7. Whatever, no big deal. At 7, they said 8. Frustrating, but fine. At 8, they sent everyone back out of the terminal back to ticketing. The line was so long that they put us outside on the curb. They also gave us a phone number we could use to rebook our flight instead of waiting in line, but I gave up after 45 minutes on hold. I might as well have stayed on hold, since I didn't get to the front of the line for an hour and a half. Apparently, they only fly LA to SEA twice a day, at 6am and 6pm. So they put me up with another airline at no extra charge. That was nice. I was exhausted from waking up so early and from waiting in the airport so long, so I was happy that I'd at least fly with someone who gave me drinks and snacks and a seat that reclines. The worst thing was that line. They need a better method for dealing with stuff like this, because I tried using their "manage my flight" option on the website, and all it told me was my flight was cancelled. And then to try calling them and never be able to speak with a person really sucked."
