Pros: "Check in was easy. I love the way you can order from the screen infront of your seat food and drinks. In addition; you can select movies. Everyone was very nice and professional. I usually fly with jetBlue, but today I was so impressed I am considering changing."

Cons: "If there was a less than one star that is what they deserve. SFO flight was late. They gave away my seat on my connection to Kalispell. They basically blamed me for being late and not being there on time. Two others from my flight were allowed to make the connection but told me that they gave my seat away because I was late. We all showed up at the same time from the late flight. I talked to 3 people including customer service and did not get a single “I’m Sorry”. Do they not communicate with each other when a flight is late and they have passengers for connections running late? They told me they don’t talk. The best they can do is put me standby for 9:30 flight and if I cannot get on that flight I have to wait until morning. My daughter is in a competition tomorrow morning and thanks to Alaska Airlines I’m going to miss it. I’m sitting here writing this review, paying for a dinner I should not be paying for and probably searching out a hotel room until morning when I can catch a flight. Unbelievable the lack of empathy."

But when we approached them at the gate counter, I heard the radio saying that our flight was pushing back. WTF?? Luckily they were able to get us on the next flight an hour later. But still, not impressed."

Cons: "Alaska/virign’s boarding process is pretty dumb. all these different levels of people, which for a regional airline is usually 75% of the load, then, the rest. Good luck on overhead space. Literally everything else about this airline is 100% awesome. Boarding is the only lame thing."

Cons: "I checked in to the flight 24 hours ahead to ensure I got an aisle seat, because I knew I’d probably be going back and forth from the bathroom because I had been feeling ill. When I got to the ticket check to board the flight, my name wasn’t found in the system, and I was turned away to go back to the front desk. So I did, and the person there was seemingly able to get me an aisle seat in the same row, just across from where I originally was. But, when I got to the row, another man was in that spot and showed me his ticket which was the same seat I’d seemingly been re-assigned! The middle seat was empty, and so I sat there for the time being, while we enquired about it. One of the flight attendants said they’d look into it, but just seemed to brush it off and never gave us a response. I was mainly annoyed about being shuffled around, getting reassigned a spot and was clear about wanting an aisle seat, and it never happened even though I chose that seat 24 hours ahead in the first place. I felt there were a few chances to make it right, but it never happened."

Pros: "Gina at Seattle Customer Service managed to get my on a flight back to my original Oregon location when it became evident that they couldn't get me to San Francisco as booked and I missed my appointments there."
Cons: "I never made it to San Francisco. After starting in Eugene they sent me to Seattle instead of Portland where I was way-laid for 5 and 1/2 hours Alaska posted a crew based delay on my flight to PDX and booked me on a flight an hour later to Seattle where I was going to have a 3 hour layover. The connecting flight was then delayed another 2 and 1/2 hours. I missed both my appointments in San Francisco and never made it to SFO. Also, they never sent me an SMS or email alert to the changes. The agent also had me wait at the wrong gate in Eugene. And they couldn't get me on any other flights to my original destination. I will reschedule my appointments in San Francisco and I will definitely be taking American Airlines or United Airlines."

It was a birthday trip and the only thing that saved this from being utterly miserable is the short flight."

Everybody was extremely helpful about getting my wife a wheelchair and getting her on and off the plane. Everybody always had a smile. The flight itself was smooth...barely any turbulence and good landing."

Instead I got to be trapped like it was a full flight next to a guy with no concept of personal space."

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

It's nice that they serve a complimentary meal on the red eye flight but the quality of the food was bad. Entertainment options were also limited although they had some recent box office entries from last year. The leg room also wasn't great but that's expected in economy I guess."

Ticket agent at the desk before I left MSP took my boarding pass for flight from Denver to SLC, not sure if he listed me on the wrong flight out of Denver or if the agent at the desk in Denver printed the wrong boarding pass. A SLC and Las Vegas flight were at neighboring gates when I realized something was wrong. I'd been printed a boarding pass for the flight to Las Vegas instead of SLC. Glad I noticed it before the last flight to SLC left. Was suffering at the time with a bout of diverticulitis, the straight up and down, nonreclining seats were horrific for me."

The airports recycle, is it that difficult to make that happen for Frontier? The hundreds of plastic cups, plastic bottles, cans, etc. etc. is mind blowing and is something I pay attention to. I actually took my item back to the airport instead of giving to the crew at the end so I could place the item in the recycle bin in the airport after asking your crew if there was recycling. They said there was no recycling. I also picked up a plastic bottle from another seat on the way out to help clean up since I knew you guys would throw it out anyway. Thanks for considering being more sustainable, eco-friendly, and for thinking about my comment seriously to minimize your airplane's environmental impact. I will pay attention and voice my concerns elsewhere as well - recycling shouldn't have to be done by the consumer, the businesses need to step up and make it happen."

They are tiny (1/2 or 1/3 the size of a 'typical') and metal-ish; while not large, they are also not wobbly like on many other aircraft. I liked that there was no TV in front of me or controls in my seat; because usually I turn it off anyway but it still looks ugly and all the extra crevices in 'nicer' seats get filthy and disgusting. I did not feel grossed out by this aircraft, which is really cool."
Cons: "Obviously, it's really tiny and uncomfortable. I knew that going in and paid for an aisle seat, otherwise I would have been totally miserable. I would recommend doing that, and also NOT having stuff you need to put under the seat in front of you, because then you'll just squish yourself in more. I was fine and got both sleep and some writing done, but I did see others struggle."

Pros: "Boarding moved along smoothly, seats were decent enough"
Cons: "I did not have a food/drink menu in my seat compartment, nor did anyone else in my row. When the stewardess walked by, I asked her for one. She rudely snapped at me "well you should have one" and then she walked away. She never came back with a menu. I was so stunned by her sharp attitude that even the girl sitting at the row across from me felt bad and asked for a menu from someone in her row just to give it to me. At that point I didn't even want to look at the menu and I didn't order anything. I probably would have otherwise. I don't know why this particular stewardess acted like that towards me as I had not interacted with her previously nor was I rude at all. All I said was "can I please see a menu? I don't have one." This was my first time flying with Frontier and I will probably not fly with them again. I will stick with United and Delta. I have never been treated like that on an airline before."

Then when I communicated that I absolutely had to get to Denver that evening because I play professional sports & had a game the following morning & cannot wait until their next available flight, they could not come up with another solution & refused to help me board another plane later"

Pros: "Finally got from Mpls to Orlando"
Cons: "Minimal communication as to why a 3 hour delay. Once landed in Orlando, kept on tarmac for more than an hour, due to t- storms, in a plane with many children. No water or snacks offered to kids who had now been traveling for 4 to 5 hours. Frontier charges for everything - business model not ficused on customer service"

Cons: "I don't like the fact that after you purchase your ticket you have to buy every little thing: $13 seats, $30 carry on, $35 check in. Plus if you forgot to do it all ahead of time it cost more. Then when you get in the seat area is smaller (you have to imagine it's already small, this is even smaller) and no free beverage. The crew was not friendly and the whole experience was plain annoying. I rather pay more to fly airlines like Virgin America, Alaska or Hawaiian Airlines."

Cons: "Didnt know everything is ala carte. Ok, but when you're traveling with a family of 5, Charging $40 for carry on and 35 to check a piece of luggage---Very frustrating, the value went way down!!!!"

And could you get any meaner flight attendants. The poor guy next to me seat didn't work and she practically bounced him off the plane cause he couldn't get his seat back in an upright position. what we thought was a great ticket price ended up being more than Delta!"

Cons: "Spirit is a horrid airline. The counter people were rude the flight crew was rude and unprofessional. The spoke about passengers that were in ear shot of them. They were just plain rude to customers"

Cons: "After buying my ticket, a day before boarding, I was charged separately for checking bags and carry-ones. Once I got to the airport, I was charged another $30 for the weight of my bag. I should have been made aware of these fees during the purchase of my ticket. Nearly $200 unexpectly taken away from my vacation fund. Soooo not cool. I believed I was getting a great deal, but in actuality I was being charged just as much as any other flight. The ride may have been better with another airline because the seats where compact, hard, and immobile. It’s definitely was my best experience."

Cons: "Hidden fees, delays, baggage fees cost more than plane ticket. I was not told of extra cost to check in at airport. There was no update of delay, no passenger knew anything. Very disappointing."

Cons: "Noisy flight attendants constantly slamming and banging things in the galley. Trying to sleep while sitting bolt upright is hard enough without all that noise."

Cons: "Handling of the 5 hour hour delay. Delays are normal and I appreciate the attention to safety. After we deplaned, I would have liked more information. Everybody in line asked the same question - when’s the next flight? The worst part was the delay with meal vouchers. They said they were going to read off the names, when I saw them flipping through and not reading the names, I asked why, to which they responded “because it’s hard to read”. Well, they aren’t going to read themselves. Either try, or spell it out. Or call out confirmation numbers. Eventually they got them mixed up, gave up, and asked us to come up 1 at a time so they could find ours."

Cons: "First time flyer with Spirit, overall bad experience. Our flight was delayed due to weather, they didn’t tell us what the problem was after 2 hours stuck in the plane at the gate. It’s expensive with all its add ons. You have to pay for carry on, seating, they don’t offer water, as basic as water you have to pay for it!! No entertainment No WiFi No charging outlets. Old planes. Never ever again will I give them my money."

Pros: "Spirit booked the wrong flight so i took SOUTHWEST instead. Thanks a lot Spirit."

Cons: "Was in line to board and the lady in front of me had a bigger luggage bag so they asked her to pay $65. I was asked that I needed to pay also even tho my bag was a small carry on size. She said everyone has to pay for their carry ons. I used the same bag for many trips before with spirit and NEVER had to pay for it. I stepped aside and nobody else paid for theirs.. What a rip off!! I packed small to avoid that exact reason and I ended up paying $65 rants ridiculous. NEVER! EVER FLYING WITH SPIRIT AGAIN!!"

Pros: "Their honesty and the price. They tell you upfront that you are paying for a seat from point A to point B and that's it. Anything extra will Cost you. With that in mind I prepared myself to try and not receive any additional costs and I didn't. The staff was very friendly And helpful and our flight attendant was awesome and made our trip even more enjoyable. Being only 5'4" tall the leg room and seat size were accommodating and comfortable for me. We didn't pay to sit together but we checked in online at the same time and wound up sitting in the same row!"
Cons: "I wish there was a way to know where we were flying over since we were on a 4 hour flight and the scenery was exquisite! Other than that, no complaints!"

Sign downstairs said 1 carry one 1 personal item.. so I asked at counter they told me to go to kios to get ticket... went all the way to the plane and boarding the woman says that's gonna be 100$ to board .. I had a small suitcase and diaper bag! I didn't have the money on my card and almost missed my first! I will spend the extra $20 next time to fly anything besides spirit!!"

Not only that. One of the atte Santa At the counter acepted cash from another custom er even if was no permitted, and then me and my husband got threatened by Patricia At the counter that if we Kept complaining she would close the door forcing us to lose the plain. Finally we paid but we recorded the situation in our phone. We were severly mistreated and we will Not buy tickets from this company and will encourage our friends Not to buy tickets either. I have never Bern treated so bad in a airlines company"

Cons: "Seats are extra small for width and leg room. Tray table measures only 10 inches by 5 inches...if that. I was freezing the whole time with hands on and vents closed. It might of been cheaper to check my bag then have it as a carry on."

Cons: "Maybe I was sleeping. I didn't get any snacks, and no other people was having snacks also. So I guess, no snacks and drinks. On my seat, I didn't even find a magazine. It was hard just sitting there and doing nothing. Moreover, I had a flight with United Airline (or American Airline maybe), they only charge 35USD for each bag delivery. But Spirit charged me for 50USD."

Cons: "First, I ended up in the emergency room and could not make the flight now the ticket has cost me to cancel 125.00 to cancel and 25.00 dollars for administrative fee which ends up 150.00. Not to mention now I've lost the original 196.00 airline ticket. I will never fly Spirit airlines"

Also like that they didn't serve everybody free drinks and clog up the aisles for a 2 hour flight. Plus we got a great deal and got all our stuff in small bags so no extra fees."
Cons: "All good except for flight out delay and delay on tarmac. Didn't know if it was Spirit's fault or the weather or airports? Flight home was smooth and on time. I have heard stories about Spirit , this was my first time on them and I would use them again especially for the deal."

Cons: "I arrived like 45 minuted before the depature in Dallas airport. It took some time to find a registering kiosk but it didn't let me to register. Lady offered me to take a tomorrow flight instead and she refused to get registered for my flight. I would classify it as a poor service and attitude since check in takes 3 min, security check for local flights takes 5 min. And a train to terminal 5 min. She just said that i wont make it. Had to buy a ticket from a different company."

Cons: "Was not on time to Phoenix."

Cons: "Was not aware of the fact that I would have to pay $55 to carry a bag on. I checked my bag for $50 (because it was cheaper) but had to retrieve it after the first leg, pay ANOTHER $50 and then go through security again. Major pain in the but that was not presented when booking."

Pros: "The flight was not so bad. It is up to its value what we pay for. The small personal baggage is good enough for us to carry clothes for a week."

Cons: "The seats were horrible on this plane. And the 24 hour check in only saved 10.00 on my bag and we had alot of problems just getting on the website. You tell us to do it online but never mentioned to do it before the 24 hour window because the luggage prices go up in that 24 hour or window. Our luggage was never on our plane and we were not told this at check in.,so when we got to our final destination in Vegas our luggage came an hour later! Luckily there was some one from spirit at the bag claim we asked and she was able to track it down for the 5 of us who had no clue what was going on! Needless to say by the time all your fees were paid for we could of flown a better more comfortable airline for the same price!"

Cons: "Engine Trouble, delayed 3 hours. Crying babies with negligent and uncaring parents, who neither even attempted to hush the kids, infront and directly next to us."
