Pros: I was happy it was a nonstop flight on a somewhat new and very clean plane. Plenty of leg room, though the seat almost felt narrow and the person next to me was on me the entire trip. Seat comfort was good, I prefer firmer padding on a longer trip. Attendants were attentive and quick about helping passengers but felt like they didn’t want to be there. Boarding was also fast, though slightly confusing.
Cons: I didn’t like that after I booked my ticket Alaska moved the time to much earlier in the day and I had to take off work. There’s no built in screen; tablets are available to rent, but for the price tickets are I shouldn’t have to rent something or use up my battery. Plus having to either hold my phone/tablet the whole flight or use what little space I have on my tray to prop it up isn’t enjoyable. Also the snacks were lacking, one bag of cheese crackers was my only option for a flight over 5 hours.

Cons: We had to make an emergency medical landing which is fine it had to be done. But then we had to wait a while for catering to come and bring us food. Most of us had already gotten off the plane to use the restrooms and get food. Then because the caterers took to long they cancelled the food order and told us they were having fingers out food vouchers. It was annoying g cause we had already gone and gotten food and spent our own money. Now everyone booked it off the plan to get food and we now waited another hour for people to come back. So altogether the plane was delayed 4 hours they could have just given us the food on the plane for free.

Pros: The flight crew was incredibly sweet and helpful; one of them even gave me their personal TUMS when I said I didn't feel well.
Cons: The flight boarded 30 minutes early; I arrived to my gate at the time of when my ticket said boarding started, but they were already calling final boarding call for my flight. I completely panicked. The plane was clean but the seats are very close together and there were no complimentary snacks- even though it was a 6 hour flight. On my flight back from Seattle on Delta, we got a complimentary meal AND a complimentary snack. I was expecting my Alaskan flight to be better based on everything I'd heard from friends, but my return Delta flight showed Alaska up; it was a spacier plane with way more food offered.

Cons: We were separated...we had to try to negotiate with other passengers to trade seats so we could sit as a family. We purchased our tickets 4 months in advance, there’s no reason for us to not be sitting together!!!

Pros: Flew in premium economy - relatively comfortable. They had really good cheeseburgers for sale. The flight attendants were all professional. Had a special captain who came out of the cockpit to speak to the passengers over the intercomm. He was funny, personable and helped get the flight off on the right foot. I have about 350,000 miles with Alaska and about twice that number on other airlines. This was the first time I ever experienced such a personable interaction from a pilot. Flight attendants can be entertaining but pilots usually are too serious to make the passengers happy to be on board.
Cons: They did not have Priority boarding for first class and MVP.

Pros: I always enjoy flying with Alaska. The crews are generally nice and the leather seats are comfortable, even in cattle class. I like that they often give out the Biscoff biscuits, yum. I had lots of room on several of my flights, on one of them I had an entire row to myself, which was awesome.
Cons: The fact that even on 5+ hour-long flights they still charge for the food is a little silly to me. But maybe that's how they all do these days. Still, it's unfortunate, or, it might have been nice to have more than one snack served up on such a long flight. The wifi is a little hard to maneuver, even with an instruction card. The Go-go inflight thing is cool, but they don't really advertise that you need to download the app while you're still on the ground...which they should advertise in their concourses or something.

Cons: I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class.

Cons: I had booked my flight to take off at 2:30 PM, but when I checked into London Gatwick, my boarding pass given was 7:30 PM. Of course there's no Alaska desk so I couldn't ask anyone there. When I got to Vancouver, they said they weren't sure why I was bumped, but there were seats left on the plane. However, I had to go to the gate to change my flight because I had a checked bag. Got to the gate, and of course, it was sold out. And they told me they weren't sure if the 7:30 PM flight would be taking off. So I grabbed my bags, made my way via train/bus/hitchhiking across the American border where my dad picked me up. Never got a single reason why I was bumped in the first place.

Pros: We had a flight attendant, by the name of Bob, on the flight from SLC to Sea-Tac. He was very animated and lively through the flight, for instance during the safety demonstration he would carry on conversations with those of us close to him seamlessly and effortlessly, plus make funny gestures -- such as a thumbs-up when the seat-belt was correctly fashioned -- during the presentation. His wife was the head attendant (?) who gave the instructions, and he had fun with that as well. These are two people who do their job well, enjoy what they do, and leave a positive experience in the hearts of those they serve. I think they would be a fantastic feature story in Alaska Airlines magazine in the future.
Cons: I've never liked the limited food choices and entertainment on flights from SLC to Spokane or Seattle. I know they are short flights, but a little more could be put in. I know Delta has on-flight entertainment from LAX to SLC, perhaps this should be done.

Cons: I requested a bag of ice because I had intense sciatica pain. I think it was caused by the hard seats, The bag of ice melted, and because it did not have a double bag the water leaked causing me to get all wet. I requested a towel and got a pack of paper napkins which were not enough to dry anything at all. I was told by staff that there were not any real towels on board. I think this is a serious problem. All this made the trip unpleasant and I got off the airplane all wet. All my clothes and coat were very wet.' Marta

Cons: The flight was 4 hours late. I wasted an entire day sitting in the airport. You knew that the flight was late hours in advance and should have texted or emailed me to say as much. Instead, i checked in on time, and within 10 minutes we went from 'On Time' to four hours late due to equipment and crew. Very inconsiderate and unappreciated to your customer. The flight should have been free after such an inconsiderate gesture on your part. Instead, you send me a gift certificate that obligates me to spend more money with you in order to redeem it, and then within a certain period of time. If I have choice in the future, I'll lean toward a different airline than yours. You clearly do not value my time nor my business.

Pros: Nothing. I didn't take flight due to punishing re book procedure that Alaska employs to basically steal money from it's customers.
Cons: They weight the value of 1st leg much higher than the return AND they want to charge you $125 change fee. My grandma passed away and I needed to reschedule my itinerary. Alaska stuck to their policies (you know, those pages of microscopic text that is written by lawyers for sole reason of screwing the customer.) I just felt really abused; told them to keep the useless "credit". I booked with Delta. At what point does a company forget who they are supposed to be serving? Perhaps the people that are actually giving you money and keeping you in business?

Cons: All legs of my trip from San Jose to Seattle to Philadelphia and back were all delayed; so much so that on the trip to Philadelphia, I had to be rebooked on Delta; and on the trip back to Seattle, I almost missed my flight due to a 50 minute delay on the runway waiting. I found out that "officially", the plane was "on time" because the plane closed the doors on time. Also, same thing from Seattle to San Jose, we were delayed 30 minutes due to a tire that needed replacement. Again, "officially" we were on time, because the doors had closed and we were just sitting inside the plane.

Pros: I've always liked Alaska, but they really blew this one!
Cons: Mechanical delay started as a "few minutes back to the gate", then 1 1/2 hrs sitting on plane at the gate without updates, then "get off the plane while we turn off the air", another 2 hrs without definitive info, then "we're bringing in another plan in a couple of hours", then after 5 hours of waiting, an announcement that flight is cancelled. Finally they announced a replacement flight setup for 8am, but at 4am, Alaska sent texts that the replacement flight was delayed till 1:30 pm. We finally left Palm Springs for Seattle at 2:40, 26 hours late. But the worst part of the experience was the terrible communication. A few e-mails or texts or PA announcements as the time passed would have saved about 90 passengers the frustration of waiting hours at the gate area and ticketing desk for info about options. Alaska should have been more respectful of its customers. Minimal effort was made to answer our questions.

Pros: First off Bonnie at the boarding gate was phenomenal , She has an amazing disposition ( especially at 5:00 in the morning ) she greeted each and every customer by name and with a smile ! Our flight was delayed for 2 hours as we sat at the gate while problems were fixed . The Captain made sure he kept us informed as each problem occurred and was fixed . The rest of the flight crew remained patient and attentive , which of course kept all the customers onboard calm and patient as well . My daughter just moved to Seattle and if this is the norm for this airline I will continue to use them for my future visits ! Elizabeth

Cons: My 06:05 am flight was cx'd on 12/6 due to weather condition. I was moved to another flight which would turn a 2 hour direct to 8+ hours to Las. It would not work for me, and there is no other resolutions that Alaska airline could offer. So I had to buy a new ticket from Delta at the airport and flew out at 7:30am. Noted the very next Alaska flight @7:30am and the rest of the direct flights for the day to Las were all on time departure flights. I must say that i am disappointed for Alaska's emergency contangecy plan and its response to a mild conditioned winter weather, and afterall the "best resolutions" that the airline could offer.

Cons: They kept canceling flights even though other flights were going out of Seattle and landing in Bozeman. But the gate agents were promising that the next flight wasn't gong to be cancelled and that I was going to have a seat, so I didn't book another flight from Seattle to Bozeman on a different carrier. So I spend 3 full days waiting at the boarding gate with the gate agent saying boarding would begin in 30 minutes the whole time. Finally they just sent me back home to Oakland. I missed my last chance to see my grandfather alive. He just passed away. To add insult to injury, they they wouldn't refund the ticket because I "used" the ticket for a lovely vacation to the Seattle airport for 3 days.

Cons: The check in process was cumbersome with being able to partially get checked in at a computer kiosk and then having to wait in line to see an agent while other people are jumping the queue and not having to wait... then having stood in line for 10 minutes an agent tells you that you could have been in the "fast" lane... but there is no or little signage indicating which line you should be in.... that's frustrating. Don't expect your customers to be unconsciously aware of all of your convoluted business practices... put some signs out... we at least like a hint. Other than that, for air travel it was a very good experience.

Cons: My initial flight was at 0800; I got to the gate before 0800 and was told I couldn't board the flight even though it was still at the gate and was still before the flight time. I had to pay to rebook my flight, spent over $200 in rides to and from airport, had additional parking fees and was several hours late to work. I have many family members who work in flight service so I understand that employees don't like to re-do paperwork; however, being there before the flight time and being denied cost a lot of work time and money. I have always had great experiences with Alaska so this one was quite a disappointment compared to their usual great service. :(

Cons: Something unexpected came up and I was unable to fly out on the date the ticket was purchased for. I contacted the airline several weeks to see what options I had to switch flights, or get a voucher for a later date. No flexibility. I purchased a one way ticket for $125.60 and they have a cancel/transfer fee of $125. So I had a wasted ticket that just flew empty. I asked if I could transfer the ticket to someone else... They said $125. They told me if I had purchased the travelers insurance it still would be the same fees as well. Not earning my business.

Pros: We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible.
Cons: Delta should not have made the dumb decision to take the Seattle-bound plane and use it as a substitute for the malfunctioning Cincinnati plane. Delta should have provided accommodations for the stranded travelers once they arrived in Seattle.

Pros: The crew members were nice and didn't bother while sleep when giving out snacks & drinks (I've had this done to me before, annoying). Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie.
Cons: THE DELTA TERMINAL AT HARTSFIELD AIRPORT, ATLANTA, IS DIS-ORGANIZED!!!! THERE WAS NO ONE GIVING PROPER INSTRUCTIONS FOR DROPPING BAGS OFF, PEOPLE WERE EVERYWHERE IN EVERY KIND OF MADE LINE!!! ALMOST 30 - 40 MINUTES OF WASTED TIME, THIS AND THE SLOWEST TSA PROCESS CAUSED MANY TO PROBABLY MISS THEIR FLIGHTS, INCLUDING ME (THANKFULLY MY FLIGHT WOUND UP BEING 3HS DELAYED - THAT'S NEXT). DELTA SHOULD INFORM TRAVELERS ABOUT TIMES WITH THEIR BAG DROP AND TSA!!! 3HRS TO GET A SMALL PART THAT ONLY TAKES 2 MINUTES TO FIX, I'M VERY GRATEFUL IT WAS FOUND WHILE ON THE GROUND, BUT AFTER 1 AND HALS HOURS COULDN'T WE HAVE JUST CHANGED PLANES!?!?! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOME AFTER 10A, WASN'T UNTIL ALMOST 2P..

Cons: Flight into Seattle delayed, flight out of Seattle to Minneapolis delayed flights out of Minneapolis to Bismarck delayed. Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?

Cons: Miniature candy bars are not sufficient for an hour and a half flight.

Pros: Good choice of movies but not all have subtitles, which comes in handy since phones are not really good. Food was great!

Pros: Every one but the gate agent at Detroit going to Seattle at 7:40 loading time on 4-11-19. She was mean and curt and would not get my seat corrected I had to sprint for at least a mile to even make it. We landed the same time they were boarding

Cons: I usually fly delta and have a great experience - unfortunately my flight from Detroit to Seattle was not. To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. Pros: Delta has great seats, friendly employees and engaged managers and pilots. Even their customer service Center reaches out to help on suggestions. I am flying to Portland for School over 40 round trips and I am saving $4,000 vs Alaska Air. Plus I get miles and discounts with the Delta Amex Card. I am very pleased.
Cons: I don’t like harsh change in schedule fees but it forces me to plan. I wish the Seattle to Portland Eve flight landed in time to catch Portland Rail system at 11:50 PM

Pros: We fly lots of different airlines including Delta. They have really risen to to the top in recent years. Today's flight was great.. helpful crew, decent seats with ample legroom( I'm tall). The snacks were decent for what they were. Definitely keep flying with them!

I am very frustrated sad because it was not a plesiosaur trip My mother was sick and I needed to see her take her to the Doctor. Had to borrow money from a family member to continue my trip. On my way back I try to check And I was Unable to do so. I arrived to the Airport to find OUT that they cancel my way back too!!!!!! I had to borrow money Again!!!! And stay in the Airport for 8 hrs! They called the various groups to board and then we stood in the ramp, closely packed, for about 20 minutes before they started loading the plane. Also, for the flight, most every seat was filled. Given the concerns regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the close placement of passengers was concerning.

My husband does not have a visa he has he’s resident card but there was no option for me to select besides visa. once i arrived i was told I would have to be on standby since I did not check in ... I told the air flight assistant I was unable to do so because when I would input my husbands information who is currently a resident there was no option.. she said some airlines don’t let you check in online because they have restricted online procedures... I paid for my ticket which means I paid for my seat... I always travel with Aeroméxico for the reason as I love the customer care We receive and never have issues and I was pretty confused as to why I encountered this situation... Cons: Probably one of the most tedious flights of my life. Unexplained delays while sitting on the tarmac and not allowed to get up to go the bathroom because “we could be leaving any minute”. Repeated indications that we were cleared to move, and then no movement for another 15 minutes before assuring us they were cleared to move. Everything about this airline, from check-in to boarding to taxiing to deplaning to baggage claim felt like it took 60-80% longer than it had to, with no real customer service to be found. This is an airline that does nothing more than provide passengers with a way of getting from point A to point B, eventually; getting there on time, or in comfort, was clearly a luxury their airline was not positioned to deliver. First and last time flying Aeromexico, especially with Internet, Volaris, and other carriers plowing the same routes.

Pros: Overall, Aeromexico staff in the airport were kind and friendly. Flight crew members were friendly, attentive and presentable. I appreciate the fact that Aeromexico still provides food and refreshments.
Cons: Flight was delayed by approximately 30 to 40 minutes. However, I appreciate that staff kept us informed and updated on flight status. Since I hadn't reserved a seat, I got seated near the emergency exit. On a positive note, it's more spacious hence more leg room. However, you're not allowed to keep any items with you in case of an emergency during take off and landing. It seems that there was some type of entertainment on the TV screens but noticed they were on for less than 40 minutes and then they went blank for the remainder of the flight . I'm not sure if other passengers were offered headphones but I was not.

Cons: I have traveled all over the world. From China to Peru, name it and I’ve been there, and I have never been treated more poorly as consistently as I was by Aeromexico today. After forgetting the bottom of a piece of paper I was not told I needed to keep with me (it was given to me when I landed in Mexico), I was turned away from the gate minutes before boarding. I was told to exit the terminal (with no options as to what to do with my duty free purchases) and pay a 600 pesos fee for a new piece of paper. Ok, fair enough. When I get there, they don’t take credit cards. Aeromexico shrugs their shoulders yet again. I run across the airport to another terminal to get cash to pay for the silly paper, run back to get it, sprint across the airport (again, with ZERO help from the airline getting through security to make my flight) only to have the door closed in my face. Defeated I walk to the module in the terminal to ask for a new flight to be told I have to exit the terminal AGAIN. I ask what I do with my duty free purchases (bottles of tequila I cannot bring in again) and I’m told I should check them in with my luggage. After informing the agent I don’t have luggage (it was a short trip) i was told I would need to purchase luggage. THEN, I was told my rescheduling fee for the flight would be $720, a full priced fare. Never flying Aeromexico again. I’ll take 3 planes on American before a direct flight with them. Enjoy.

Cons: Flight Delays: It happens, BUT every flight, but 1 was severely delayed leaving, arriving, and then departing again. The only flight that left and arrived on time was Guatemala to Mexico City. Mis information from Flight Crew: Aero Mexico flight crew put everyone in a panic on flight from LAX to MEX and Guatemala to MEX by saying that everyone had to pick up their luggarge.. even if you were just in transit to another country. Once I went down and asked Information, they stated that I did not need to pick up my bags as they would in fact be transportated to my final destination. When I told AeroMexico about this.. they didn’t seem to care that they were saying something completely different to everyone on their planes. In the future I will avoid booking with Aero Mexico.. I felt vulnerable and that Mexico didn’t have its clients in their best interest. Additionally, their lack of WiFi is embarrassingly cheap of them. Guatemala has free wifi, I assumed everywhere provides wifi for its visitors. Mexico supposedly gives you 5 min free and they don’t make that easy to access.

Pros: A long story short, I had to check my carry-on bag in order to get sealed duty free liquor through the Mexico city airport. I was able to eventually get the bag checked gratis due to the circumstances. It took half a dozen AeroMexico staff to get there, but I did.

Cons: The flight schedule is unstable. We were in the lounge and didn’t hear any notice of the flight. Almost missed it.

Cons: 1.5 hour. Line up to get boarding pass and check baggage is terrible. Also could not do seat selection on line- same day even though web site lead me to it several times. No explanation.

Cons: It was a horrible flight because the plane did not land in Mexico city due to fog. The plane was about 600 feet from the ground and then diverted to Acapulo. We sat on the plane for 3 hours then waited in line for an additional 4 hours to get another flight. Then when we got to Mexico city, our next flight was canceled after boarding the plane. Again their excuse was due to weather. All other airlines were landing and taking off just fine. Aeromexico did not compensate us and we ended up spending the night in the airport. We will never fly Aeromexico again!

Pros: Again, the seating is more than adequate. I discovered a person who couldn't read her ticket stub correctly had taken my seat, but instead of insisting that she move, I asked if I could have an emergency exit row seat and was told "Yes," I could. I had to whole row to myself. Those seats, while as comfortable as the rest, made the screen mounted on the back of the seat ahead of me a little hard to see because of the greater than usual distance between the seats. But there certainly was a lot of legroom!
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was an aspect not totally in Aeromexico's control - the disembarkation system and the ugly process of Mexican immigration. The plane was left parked on the tarmac somewhere in nowhere'sville, making a trip to the terminal by bus necessary. The bus waited and waited and waited for a wheelchair to arrive from the main terminal to allow two elderly passengers to be removed from the plane. All in all that process took more than a half-hour (making the two-hour connection time more anxiety producing). Then the bus sat outside the terminal for another 10 minutes with no explanation being provided to the passengers worried about making their connection. To top it off, once the bus doors opened the passengers were ushered into a large hall filled with hundreds of passengers all having to get through Mexican immigration - during lunch hour or something, for there were only six officials actually asking questions and several empty inquiry windows that could have been operational. I finally got to an immigration clerk just 15 minutes before my connecting flight was to take off - breezed through the interview and got the passport stamped, and then had to run to dump the luggage onto another conveyor belt leading I hoped to the connecting flight. An Aeromexico staff person asked me "Seattle?" and when I answered "YES!" was ushered to a waiting electric golf cart that whisked me close to the ramp to Gate 57. Without that additional help I'd never had made the flight. Mexico City is NOT a place to try to do a plane connection in less than 3 hours!

Pros: There was a ten and a half hour delay of which two hours was on a plane waiting on the tarmac with mechanical problems and two more hours waiting to be reticketed in the terminal. But the airline took care of us with vouchers for food, hotel and taxis. The crisis was handled really well. It was just miserable because we only got two hours sleep. I am glad this was just a once in a lifetime crisis and inconvenience. Maybe it was caused by Boeing who made the plane.

Yearly my church flys with Aeromexico to Mexico and I've never had a problem but this year I felt very targeted . As I was checking in they told me that my luggage was 2 pounds over the weight they direct us to have it so the employee told us to go and take some items out , we moved from the line and he 'shooed' us away saying "no go all the way back" we did and when we tried to go back to check in another employee cut me off from going in line and told us she didn't care for what I had to say and to return to the back of the line. At this point I was already worked up from their behavior and my mother whom was traveling with me tried to calm me down. As we get to the from of the line the SAME guy who 'shooed' us had a customer who had an over weight luggage , BUT let him take out item right there and then with his luggage on the scale . Well my mother got upset because we didn't know what it consisted of to have that privilege. We get attended by the employee who cut me off and my luggage was still 1 pound over the weight limit and she instructed us to get out and take items out , we expressed to her that it wasn't fair how other people who were flying got the advantage of just doing it there and we asked why . She denied ever doing that and said to go with the employee who did that because she refused to attend us . We asked another employee if we could speak to a supervisor and we were being persisted but she would ignore us and walk away from us . We couldn't believe how badly they were treating us. So we then went on to go with the employee who 'shooed' my mother and I and asked him why did he give special privileges to other people flying and was discriminated us , he literally told us "what discrimination? You guys need to relax. What do you want? Do you want me to attend you or what? I have other people waiting" he checked us in and NEVER saw or spoke to a supervisor . We will def never be flying with them again .

I saw no sanitizing on any of the three flights I had to take to get to Detroit. of the four airports only the one in Guadalajara asked any health questions and could be seen sanitizing the waiting room and eliminating seats to keep spacing.

Cons: I wish that the Seattle Tacoma Airport has an Admiral's Club Lounge. Actually, I might as well fess up... I wish that EVERY airport had an Admiral's Club Lounge. I also wish it would be possible to "gift" miles to family members. I would love to have my son and daughter-in-law take advantage of my miles to go on a honeymoon.

Cons: Prior to boarding, a gate attendant talked to the passengers in a VERY condescending way with regard to their carry on luggage. The original plane had mechanical problems, identified after half the passengers had already boarded. It was stressful enough without this person raising her voice and talking to us as though we were children.

Cons: There are 9 boarding groups some of which have no one in them. I don't understand why. Seats don't have screens for entertainment so you have to use your own device to. Make sure you have extra batteries since there is no power to charge on board.

Cons: Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it.

Cons: One hour delay on account of missing signatures from some mechanic according to the captain’s weak and shallow account of the facts. Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?

Cons: Entertainment arm rest did not work, flight attendants we're not very attentive to used items left on tray s to pick up. Empy cans ad wrapper s say for 3 hours before being picked up. Middle rest room was left very dirty due to bad hygene of passengers.

Cons: Flight across the US had poor quality meal service, no charging port and no entertainment. Despite paying for an exit seat with more leg room the seat was very narrow and uncomfortable for the long flight.

Pros: Seats in general Economy ended up being fairly comfortable and headrests would bend enough to actually support my head while sleeping. Nice to have granual baggage tracking info in the AA app.
Cons: Overhead entertainment video quality was horrible. Awful user interface for trying to figure out and use the personal device streaming entertainment. Did not order food on the flight, but options were very limited for a 5.5 hour night-time flight (8p EST -> 11p PST)

Cons: Crew told us bulshit story about strong winds, even though flight times were normal. Diverted the flight to DFW, where we stayed for almost 2 hours fo refueling.

Cons: The bathroom supplies were not replenished. In fact, the facial tissue was empty at beginning of flight. When the toilet paper ran out, I finally informed the attendant and they fixed everything. It seems that checking on that stuff was not part of their routine.

Pros: The flight crew were amazing!
Cons: Gaye agent refused to let me take my medically necessary medical equipment and meds on board. She refused to look at my Dr note that TSA had no problems with after screening. It was humiliating and horrible!! I have a video ad well as statements on the flight from other passengers regarding how she treated me it was horrible!!

Cons: No entertainment and no gate printed on my ticket. My flight to Dallas was delayed and I had to waste time figuring out what gate to take a train to.

Pros: Left on time, relatively comfortable considering I had already spent almost 9 hours on a previous flight, landed 30 minutes early
Cons: Mixed feelings about the entertainment app, I was pleased that something was available at all, however had the person sitting next to me not mentioned I needed an app to watch the in flight entertainment moments before it would have been too late to use the internet to download it, I would not have been able to use it, unless paying for a limited time package from AA to use the internet to download the app. A better job of advertising of the gogo app is needed more than the booklet in the seat pocket. Also I was only able to watch one movie, after that the system kicked me out saying high usage was making it not work for me. The gate changed a couple of times which had me trawling up and down the H and K concourses, could have done without that after the 9 hour journey I had already taken.

Cons: Nothing, well I miss the movies shown on their divides rather than my tablet

Pros: The crew was very friendly with our girls and accommodating with switching around our seats so we could sit together.
Cons: There weren't any screens, which surprised me since our 3 other flights had them, and we unfortunately didn't have a backup plan. Our kids were disappointed. Also in order to sit with our young children we were only given the option to sit in the very last row that doesn't recline which was difficult seeing as the flight took place in the middle of the night according to our bodies. No actual food was provided despite it being a 6 hour dinner time flight.

Cons: We had too little time to switch flights. We were stressed and had to run a lot in order to make it to required connecting flight

Cons: Dry / borderline rude staff and hostess. Dated plane. Tiny seats. But that is pretty much the baseline of airlines in the US. When will carriers start to take note from International carriers..leaps and bounds ahead.

Pros: It was not a full flight, so I was given an aisle instead of a middle seat...for which I was grateful.
Cons: Flight was 6 hours...almost as much as my previous international flight, yet food and drink was only available for purchase. No entertainment options. Plus, wireless was $21! I needed to work and had to purchase, but that is really quite a rip off compared to other airlines.

Pros: This flight was amazing! The crew was friendly and helped me when I had a panic attack from flying. It was very appreciated

Cons: Food not tasty, meat tough and dry..no one around us ate it. Dessert was o.k.

Cons: Flight was over crowded with baggage. Some people were allowed to board with 3 cabin bags and others weren't allowed to bring any on board.

Cons: I asked the woman at the gate prior to boarding if there were electrical outlets on the plane. She looked it up and said, its an Airbus, yes they have outlets at each seat. I didn't worry too much about charging my devices at my layover because I knew I could charge them on the plane. When I got on it was clear that there was no outlets, no video on the backs of seats, no devices being handed out for purchase. Nothing. I'm definitely used to more updated planes, but I would have been ok without the misinformation. I ended up on a 4 hr flight bored out of my gourd—which could have been avoided.

Cons: Despite arriving more than an hour ahead of time, I had to wait in a long line to get to the ticket counter and by the time I got there the assistant refused to check my bag. I then had the choice of catching another flight standby, possibly not even arriving on the same day, or changing my ticket for an obscene amount of money. I hope to never deal with AA again.

Pros: seat comfortable enough
Cons: unbelievably tightly spaced seats. Incredibly uncomfortable to have knees pushed into seat ahead - - so tight almost impossible to get feet under seat.

Cons: The captain announced that the flight crew exceeded 9 work hour per day due to the takeoff delay so the passengers were forced to sit and wait in a stuffy stationary aircraft for 2 hours prior to takeoff until a different crew could arrive to service the flight.

Cons: As it was the continuation of an international flight, I believe I travelers like me deserved to be treated with free food and not just drink and water.

Pros: Chairs were very comfy and wider than some airlines.
Cons: Crew not overly friendly and not very attentive, and there were lots of empty seats so there wasn't much excuse. Also, I had an issue with the plane. I think no screens on a cross-country flight is not good business. Not everyone is savvy with go-go inflight. And if there are no screens, could there at least be outlets? I was so tired after my Paris flight and wanted to chill with some go-go entertainment, but my battery was low and there were no outlets. I know not all flights can have these luxuries, but if the flight is over five hours, I think it should be better equipped.

Cons: My bag was lost and it still hasn't showed up at the airport. Seems like I would get some kind of credit of some kind for this inconvenience.

Cons: There were no power outlets or USB ports on the plane (at least in coach). Strange for a cross-country flight. Also, if you drop something or want your bag from under the seat in front of you, forget about picking it up unless you want to ask your seat mate if they mind your head in their lap. I am a small person, but not a contortionist. Limited entertainment.

Pros: Not a lot to say really from a positive, In Europe if we had to fly over 4 hours the airlines put on larger planes, this plane was small for a 6+ flight
Cons: Small plane for a 6+ hour flight, food is . sub standard, if you want to watch the onboard entertainment you need to do so from you phone or Ipad, you need their app installed first and flash player, if not your screwed. They allow you to download their flash player but it does not work.

Cons: The flight staff was rude, the wrong gas was put in the plane causing a delay, I missed my connection because of this where they wrote it was delayed because "it was snowing in Savannah" which was a blatant lie, but made it so they did not have to help me in any way since their delay was "weather" related. They could not get my to my destination until noon the next day which forced me to buy a new flight on Alaska air. My flight on Alaska was absolutely fantastic and I regret ever buying any United flight and will not in the future.

Cons: The flight was incredibly hot the whole way. Which the flight was 5 hours long. The crew was a little rude, not to me in particular but to others. They didn’t have a good attitude. Sat at the gate for an hour waiting for other planes to come in so that other people wouldn’t miss the flight. But an hour??? Really!! People were getting mad and hot and sweaty. Food wasn’t cooked all the way when it got to a passenger. It was still cold. It was the worst flight I’ve been on. I would rather ride in a jump seat on a C-130 with military!

Cons: Captain was 1 hour late, then wasn't prepared with a gate when we arrived in Seattle. I got home 3+ hours later than I expected, and I have a short vacation time.

Pros: I liked how there were some (very few) staff that were friendly and helpful. They somewhat eased the nightmare a bit
Cons: There were so many delays that could've easily been avoided. To make matters worse there were two United attendants at the gate hastling every passenger preboarding. The two women were so rude and confrontational. Then I board the plane that I had to be rebooked on because of the delays I missed my connection .. and didn't even get the seat I chose. A woman sat in my seat and refused to move, leaving me with a middle seat next to a lady who was so mean. She kept making rude comments to me throughout my 5 hour flight, and proceeded to get intoxicated. I didn't get home till almost midnight..when I should've been home by 9.

Cons: Plane change resulted in middle seat in far back instead of aisle originally.

Cons: I was very I'll and could not complete this flight. Was told by airline to call Kayak for changing date of flight for $50 vs $200 they would charge. Ticket was less than $200. I called Kayak. They said sorry it will cost you $200 per airline policy. Either way, this is unacceptable to me. I will stick with Southwest who let's you change flights on all fares if you use it within one year. So since change fee was more than ticket I just ate the cost. Not happy with UNITED or KAYAK. Won't use either one again.

Cons: Roundtrip flight to Seattle with a layover, first flight went without incident, so far so good. On the flight back (during a layover) literaly 5 minutes till boarding the plane, the pilot is ready to go, the people are standing in line, United decides it wont make enough $ on the flight and gives it to an Ontario flight. We are canceled and now have to wait 4 additional hours in the airport. Was told it was air traffic control that messed up, not United, which was not even possible and an obvious untruth. Was offered a complimentary bottle of water for the trouble. Classic united.

Pros: At 6' tall I'm not exactly TALL, SLIGHTLY above average yet as hard as I pressed back into the seat I wasn't​ able to squeeze Even a milimeter of leg room. I spent 2+hrs in moderate pain with no options. The seat sold to me WASN'T big enough for a person talker than 5'10". I felt ripped off. At age 41 I've NEVER had a flight with less leg room. Ever, not on a commuter flight or anything. It was a very painful experience. I had to ice my knee caps afterwards.
Cons: ZERO LEG ROOM AT ALL. PAINFUL to say the least.

Pros: No charging docks on plane as military duffle bag open with clothing hanging out on arrival ~ not sure if anything stolen but the threat is very real and it's unacceptable for military bags to be delivered in that manner

Pros: Premium economy is a must for me from now on. I am 6'4" and the extra leg room makes all the difference in the world. My flight was at night so I had little interaction with the crew. Overall I had a very pleasant experience on united and would definitely fly with them again.
Cons: Food options were limited to snack boxes. I had a layover in Denver. At the time of my arrival all of the food options in the Denver airport were closed. I would have appreciated some more substantial food offerings on the plane, as I had to go without dinner thatnight.

Cons: One of the crew members at the gate! I believe her name was Jackie or jaciquiene at SF was the most inconsecrate women I have ever met! She was yelling at me to put my bag in the bag to see if it will fit. She was completely rude and acted like she hated her job! I will NEVER fly with UNITED again! I will be contacting United regarding this issue as well! The other lady at the gate called her led and after that she contacted her supervisor and they also didn't let me on the flight! This was the worst experience I have EVER had! I will NEVER FLY WITH UNITED AGAIN.

Pros: I thought the newer model 737 with the ambient lighting and redesigned overhead compartments gives the plane a less claustrophobic feel. The pilots did a great job navigating through potential turbulence and the flight crew was attentive and on point. A better experience than the crew on the flight from Seattle to Houston four days before. It is my understanding that Continental crews remained intact upon the merge and my assumption was this was a Continental crew versus the United crew that was not as good.
Cons: The boarding process with the arbitrary assignment of boarding group 5 giving us no chance to bring our one bag on the plane. There is no real enforcement of the carton policies of these airlines which makes it frustrating for those who follow the rule only to be punished and forced to check the bag and go through baggage claim.

Pros: Our names are Steve and Jan Hovde if you have any other questions about our flight concerns. We can be reached by phone at 360-332-8414. We did not call FAA, but still very much a concern. We have flown United other times and many other airlines and many Boeing 737's...we noticed other passengers looking at each other because of the clunking and growling sounds.
Cons: most important I vowed I would try and call FAA about safety concerns with the plane. Mechanical noises prior to take off , during flight(right fan whine) - could hear it when started engines in SF., Some loud clunking at take off bringing in landing wheels and again letting down for landing in Seattle. When plane came to stop at the gate, again some noises we have never heard before on 737's. Please check out that plane more closely. Part of our concern is that Pilot mentioned before take off that they had problems with scheduled 737 and they needed extra time to locate another 737 that could be used(Why our take off was rescheduled twice and different gate)......it seemed that one that had been mothballed may have been brought out to use......We did mention some of this tactfully to stewardess' standing near exit when we got off the plane(She seemed surprised and wondered what we were talking about. We were so thankful we made it. We just figured that flight crew would be tracking these odd noises and pass along to captain if he couldn't hear.

Pros: There's really nothing good to say, because it never happened.
Cons: Same problems I had with the Phoenix to San Francisco leg. The flight never happened. It was cancelled and I was stuck in Phoenix another night, missing my kids. No compensation was offered. When I asked, they said, "oh, we don't do that." Yet another reason to never fly United ever again. Alaska doesn't have to be asked for compensation, they just compensate you, period.

Cons: The difference in entertainment options between different United flights is frustrating. Unlike some flights, which offer a bunch of free movies and shows you can watch on your phone or tablet, this flight offered a small selection of movies I could pay $8 for access to, which started at pre-determined times so you might pay for them and not even be able to catch the movie from the beginning. My original flight offered an outlet to charge my phone and a fairly large selection of free movies, so I watched 3 movies and the time went by quickly. My return flight did have an outlet, but I didn't want to pay for a bad selection of movies that I couldn't pause or start from the beginning, so it felt like a much longer flight.

Pros: Mr Anthony Brown, gate crew for United in Chicago remembered that I had asked for an aisle seat and, when one became available, he made sure I got it. I was so grateful for his consideration and professionalism.
Cons: No entertainment system. Few bathrooms. More cramped.

Pros: We didn't crash.
Cons: The United app told us we missed our connection so we had to go stand by on this flight. We later discovered that the original flight was delayed an hour and we could have easily made it. We were told that this fight was overbooked. We almost waited on an even later flight. Luckily we stayed at the gate and found that this flight was in fact only half full. United IT sucks. The entertainment system is horrible. With one exception the FAs were bitter and angry.

Pros: Crew was gracious, helpful, and courteous during a terrible and disruptive ordeal for passengers
Cons: Being stuck for nearly an hour sweating on a plane with no AC while mechanics were trouble shooting, only to find out that we had to exit the plane, and that it could not fly. Passengers had no idea what to do - whether another plane would be sent for us, whether United would reimburse our ticket if we arranged another flight on our own, etc. We were left to fend for ourselves. I had a wedding to get to with many pre-wedding events, starting this evening. So, I looked for another flight, found one, booked it, and went to United customer service to request reimbursement for my ticket. I was told that United had just learned that another plane was coming for us and would arrive in 30 minutes, at 8:10. (My original flight had been at 6:35). The other flight I had booked was at 10:30 pm. So, United customer service changed canceled my new booking and put me back to my original flight, now arriving at 8:10 and boarding at 8:50. The plane did arrive, but we did not board until 10:50 pm. My flight left at 11:02 pm. Bottom line is that my flight was delayed 4.5 hours. I missed an important event that I was supposed to host. I missed my only opportunity to see a dear friend (and guest of honor) - this is someone I have not seen in person for ten years and was the guest of honor at tonight's celebration that I was supposed to host and missed. Furthermire, I could not carry on a bag that I have carried on for years, and that would have easiky fit. Having to check my bag left me without my phone charger. Of course, the fact that we were 4.5 hours delayed meant that I ran out of power shortly into our long flight from Washington. to Seattle. And the food was awful - stale nuts, . ;, b:;

Pros: That i finally arrived at my destination
Cons: The flight was immorally delayed by 1.5hrs. then by another half an hour. Then there were issues with boarding, which delayed us more. Then the plane was put in a holding pattern (just circling in the area) because there was too much traffic at Seattle. I understand there are many factors that affect flights, but the entire experience today left me feeling really down and disappointed, and unfortunately, annoyed.

Cons: The boarding process was chaotic. Overhead bins were full, but flight attendants were not available to help people struggling to find a place for their baggage. They should've offered to gate check baggage

Cons: Pilot announced we would arrive early in Seattle. When we go to Seattle we waited 30 minutes for a gate and actually arrived late. When we got to baggage claim we had no claim area posted for our flight; another 15 minutes waiting to find out where our luggage would be

Pros: We got lucky and there were two empty seats across the aisle, which happened to have extra leg room, and the one gentleman sitting there, graciously offered to move to the window seat so my husband could sit in the aisle seat. My husband was quite happy that he was able to move just across the aisle from me and have the extra leg room.
Cons: My husband's original seat had a broken jack for headphones and the only thing they could offer was to switch seats with someone that wasn't going to use theirs. Luckily, the man sitting across the aisle heard what was going on and offered his seat to my husband and the gentleman just moved to the window seat. Paying an extra $118 for basically nothing; it's not very clear before you buy it, what exactly your paying the extra money for. On our return flight, we flew American, and the same thing would have only cost us an extra $42. We had to wait in a ridiculously long security line in Chicago and by the time we got to our terminal, 90% of the passengers were already on the flight or in line to enter the plane and that's what we found out we had paid the extra $118 for.

Pros: Though a little expensive the snack boxes had a good selection of items.
Cons: There were no complementary movies or tv shows or even music.

Pros: Crew was a little more enthusiastic. There was wifi on the flight. I fell asleep for half of the ride, so we had a smooth ride for the most part.
Cons: Asian style snacks need a little help. I was assigned to a middle seat again and my back started aching from the seats. Just little things though.

Cons: I was seated next to a morbidly obese man that smelled of feces so bad people many seats away had to cover their noses, overflowed his seat, taking up half of mine, and was watching disgusting pornography on his phone for half the flight, not that I was looking, but it was a bit hard to not notice, he wasn't trying to hide it. The power outlet under my seat did not work, so my phone died, and my armrest(left) was missing it's headphone jack so I couldn't use the in-flight entertainment, not that it would have mattered anyway, the fat man beside me was so huge, his fat covered my armrest so I had no access to the remote. The guy on my right, in the window seat, while not fat, wasn't small either and hogged two armrests, leaving me with none. I had to hold my seatback with my left hand the entire flight because there was nowhere to put my left arm without either holding it straight out in front of me, or laying them on the fat mans stomach which was folded over the armrest to my left. At one point I called a flight attendant and asked if they had any kind of a pillow or something to help my situation because the position I was forced to sit in was horribly uncomfortable and did not support my back, she looked at me confused, said they have nothing like that, and immediately vanished without any suggestion of a seat change or anything, just confused stare and then bolted away. All in all a pretty traumatizing experience, worst flight of my life.
