Cons: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

Wifi didn't seem to be working while we were in the air, so we couldn't check the status of our connecting flight. 3. After we missed our connecting flight, we asked the representative at the "Ask Jetblue" desk if we could get a hotel voucher since we would be stranded at the airport overnight for another 9 hours and we were told we didn't qualify since the delay was due to Air Traffic Control, thus Jetblue policy says they don't need to provide any compensation for any delays caused by ATC."

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

Cons: "Repeat from above: Didn't like baggage fees for carry-ons, didn't like paying for seats to ensure that my wife and I sat together because she has travel anxiety, didn't like having to pay for a ginger ale on the plane, didn't like small tray tables and the fact that the seats did not recline, didn't like that there was no entertainment on the flight (screens, music, charging capability for phone). I understand the appeal of "pay what services you want" as there were many services that we "needed", and because of that we certainly paid for them. In addition to our airfare, we paid $32 for seats, $160 for 2 carry-ons and 1 checked bag, and then $6 for 2 ginger ales to help settle our stomachs for the flight. It was very unexpected. Spirit did reimburse us $60 as a one-time courtesy because this was our first time flying with Spirit, and we did not know what to expect, but had we not complained, we would have gotten nothing."

Humor is one thing, but having witnessed more than one attendant being arrogant, snippy, and sarcastic toward passengers who didn't understand Spirit's "no cash" policy (not me) indicated a shared attitude problem. I also disapproved of how they made fun of (humiliated) a passenger who did not fully understand exit row instructions when asked to repeat them. Although the cockpit crew was extremely professional, the flight attendants need to be reminded that your airline's face is mostly in the cabin. Smiles and smirks are two totally different things."

Then because of the weather, this short flight turned into 2 hours instead of 1. I understand that things happen, but something like credit or anything of value for the inconvenience would have been highly appreciated by all of us."

Cons: "There has to be something that can be done about screaming kids. This was not an infant, but a 2-3 year old and a 4-5 year old. For 1.5 hours, the children screamed wanting apple sauce and to go play outside. I can understand an infant that is crying, but when the kids are old enough to talk with the parents, the crew needs to ask them to take their child to the bathroom or something. I had a splitting headache."

Cons: "I bought the plan ticket thing the seating was included only to find out I paid for the ticket but not the seats. I had to pay to sit going and coming even though I have a ticket. I had to pay for a carry-on to go and come back when other airlines give it for free. I had to check in everything by myself or I would have to pay. If I knew I would have to pay for everything individually I would have fly with a different airline. I use Spirit to save money only to end up paying more money."
