Pros: "My flight is at 9:50 am but I arrived around 5:30 am , as expected the line was already long and one of the crew told us the front desk will not open until 6:30. My husband reserved my ticket going back to US. I was assigned to seat on an exit, but when I went to the gate , one of a female employee keeps telling me if I'm aware I'll be seating on an exit and I said yes , I look for a vacant seat so I can relax while waiting, she went back again and asked me if the front desk desk gave me any paper about the task I have to do when seating on an exit. I read it and understand . She came back again for the third time and borrow my boarding pass and check something and asked me if I want to transfer to another seat, and I said no. I don't know what she wants me to do , but I'm so irritated because she keeps asking me the same question over and over again."

I had to sit over the aisle from my children as it was a 2 2 seating but the staff didnt seem to pursue where their mother was even though i was 1 row back. They didn't need me but i thought they should have at least enquired as to where the parent was of 2 11 yr olds. They were also curt trying to rush us off the flight as my daughter was trying to locate a lost item as we arrived. She has limited sight and we need time to get off and to find things.... given she has lost an iPad, and very expensive reading glasses and other things on the trips that span 24 - 36 hrs."

Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

It is now one week after my flight and my luggage is still not with me. I have spend lots of money and written 3 LONG mails to Qatar Customer Service - some have been teplied with a ”we will get back to You” note - but nobody has gotten back to me so far. Not 5 Stars. Actually One star is too good a Grade for this complete service failure from A-Z."

When I retrieved the bags on the carousel, the fragile sticker was mangled, and both items from both bags were broken. Pieces of art I can not replace. Also, it took over 30 minutes upon multiple requests for the attendant to acknowledge my need for assistance."

It's a long haul - 16+ hours, and if you have to go economy as a 6 foot tall person, their seats recline well, seemingly better than many. You have to plan your long layovers, and they do offer assistance with hotel transfers, but they don't advertise this very clearly - so do your homework before flying!"

Cons: "We were a little late with boarding. I prefer Lufthansa for travel, but I can think of a ton more, easy to serve, more healthy and delicious menu items. The food smells good, usually, but it isn't that great. The chicken I had was fine, but the side dish (sweet potatoes) wasn't good. The salad had too much radicchio, the soft cheese was too rubbery to cut (spilled my water doing so), the cake wasn't up to German reputation. Also, one flight attendant, got her own suitcase down, at least 5 times, stretching directly above me, with her jacket in my face and never apologizing. My seat wouldn't recline, nor could other peoples. This is why I paid to choose my seat, so I could sleep, more easily but I sat upright the whole time."

Pros: "It could be better, the flight attendance one of them was overwhelmed and I could feel her attitude, although she made an accidental movement on my foot she never apologized. And her eye contact was very aggressive as if she would use words. I tried to save the moment, and avoided all further interactions. Not even to look at her, or accept even a single glass of water. She did past through my area and again she was stocked with her cart, and she thought is was my foot again. When she realized that this time was not my foot, (which in the first time it was and she kicked my knee with the speed of her movement and I was not aware to save the moment) nevertheless, the second time and for the rest of my trip I was so careful that it did not happen again. But it happened one more time, but not with my foot. although she thought it was me. She looked at me again with a very bitter-eye but when she realized that the problem was not me she looked at another way acting as if she didnot understand what was going through her mind or my mind."
Cons: "The attidute is what I try not to get involved. I am on the air, traveling, and I don't like to experience any negative feelings from no one. I am consciously aware not to give any reasons for any form of unacceptable behaviors either with or without evidence. I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN, travel with LUFTHANSA just because of the way they treated me in my case which I travel always with my emotional pet, and this time they gave me a hardship and I had to travel without Logan. and additionally to this, I had to accept that flight attendance wordless aggressive behavior. Which in my opinion, I believe she could say I am sorry, and not looking at me as her worse enemy. Madness. She honestly needs a psychological evaluation."

They said after I stow my carry ons to corn to the back and get a drink and use the bathroom to cool down as we were just about to take off to taxi to the runway. The crew was absolutely great and the I. Flight entertainment and food was great. We just wish our luggage had made it back too. We are still waiting to see where our luggage is - if in Europe still or Dallas."

We told the woman to tell her kids to stop but all she said was “they are a child” when all they needed to do was just tell their kid to stop. Flight attendants saw and knew but I don’t know what they could do to help when they can’t help with bad parenting. I wish there was a clear way to upgrade to first class on a trip as it was difficult to find out how."

I missed my flight because even though I got to LAX two hours before the flight, I had to wait on the baggage check for two and a half hours. The attendants were texting and talking and not servicing the passengers. When I told American attendants and supervisors that I was going to miss my flight unless they got me through they were clueless and didn't care about me or any of the passengers. The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red"

Pros: "My 17 year old daughter flew American Airlines to attend a wedding. She recently had spinal surgery and is not able to lift more than 5lbs. After being assured by the airline that staff would help her with her carryon luggage, she was abandoned and ignored by both flight attendants. Each flight attendant referred het to the next, so she is walking back and forth tor their amusement. Tears rolling down her face, finally an elderly passenger helped her. Then the staff gave her attitude the entire flight. She may appear healthy, but she was cut from her neck to her waist and had two rods inserted along with bone grafts. I just cannot believe how awful she was treated."

Rather than fly to Philly during the DNC, we decided to SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT IN PROVIDENCE and take the flight out the next day. This part of the trip caused me to lose a day of work and spend more money on a hotel and meals. This was very poor planning on your part since there were flights flying in and out of both places, but your company was short one aircraft that would have gotten my son and I home on time!!! This was my last flight on American Airlines and I will be sure to spread the word to my friends and family that you have become too unreliable!!"

Regular power (of which there are two... why don't the window seat get one?) was half working... so luckily everything was charged. The gate agent threatened to boot anyone off the plane to the next day if you tried to board before your zone was called... that seemed questionable."

We would up losing good money since we were traveling as a family with kids. The silver lining is we flew Emirates which we should have chosen from the very beginning."

I thought this was isolated to this flight but have now encountered in 2 subsequent flights in AC premium economy."

Cons: "Missed my original flight due to the delay in the flight from Newark. Had to be placed on standby and this was the third available flight to Toronto I got on. Boarding took forever for some reason. People were in line for at least half an hour so they gave out free earphones to compensate. Otherwise you'd have to purchase it."

Then the Toronto Airport was just HORRIBLE: all along the way, we had to go through security again to get to the American side, and there was no warning that the drinks we had bought *at the Dublin airport* would all be thrown out. Rude security employees. They also very slowly went through the duty free bottles of whisky I bought *at the Dublin airport*. Then there was this stupid line of kiosks that no one knew how to use, then for some reason another boarding check, then another, and then finally customs, with more rude staff members. We had NO IDEA any of this was coming, and got no warning from Air Canada. Then we rushed to our connecting flight, only to find out that we had been booted from the flight anyway. (I got an email about it, which of course I didn't check because I have limited data -- not everyone is made of money who can afford unlimited data!) Then we got on finally boarded, only to sit on the tarmac forever in uncomfortable seats when they could've just let us sit in the airport. Ugh."

Cons: "Where do I start? Maybe by saying that I'm really not a complainer. I'm really not. I know there are understandable, although not always pleasant, occurences and situations that cause or contribute to things. But this shuttle flight was a disaster of poor airline planning. The 1.5 hour flight kept getting delayed again and again and again. The assigned gate got changed 4 times and we found ourselves having to walk with our bags from one to another. It finally took off at 12:30 at night with an ORIGINAL departure time of either 8:40 or thereabouts. You're talking about a 4 hour delay. Weather? Raining, but nothing that was serious. It was just, well, raining. No explanation was ever given for the delay although, uhh, complimentary bags of pretzels were handed out. I felt bad for the ground and flight crew. They had to deal with us less-than-pleased passengers and, really, the delay was beyond their control. Which leads me to believe poor scheduling by Air Canada of available planes was a reason. It was all very, very bad and, given a previous flight 10 days ago that took 5 hours instead of the scheduled 1.5, we'll never use Air Canada again."

My frustration was increased by the fact that the airline managed to forget my luggage at transfer, while my travel companions was "just" delayed. during flight while the service was good, the quality of food was very low. The frustration was even further increased , the through the delay of the plane and the luggage problems our rental car reservation was expired as they only hold cars for 1 hour after scheduled reservation. The later not the fault of the airline, but i will certainly consider other airlines and rental car companies in my future Travel consideration unless the return trip experience changes my mind."

Cons: "After weather forced us to miss our flight to Delhi from Toronto (understandable), Air Canada booked us on an AC flight to London and then an Air India flight to Delhi from London. In Toronto they told us that we couldnt get our bags because they were in storage, but that they would be on the plane to London and then to Delhi. Upon arriving in London, Air India told us that Air Canada never booked us on their flight to Delhi - that neither of our names were on their manifest. Air India was helpful in getting Air Canada's mistake fixed. Upon arriving in India, my partners bag was nowhere to be found. It would be logical to assume that his bag was in London and never made the imaginary flight Air Canada booked us on. However, even though our bags sat in Air Canada storage for 24 hours, his bag was never even loaded onto our flight to London. He didn't receive his bag until 6 days into our trip, causing all of us to miss out on multiple experiences, including the ability to leave Delhi because of our need to get his bag and multiple missed and promised deadlines from the airline."

Pros: "Air Canada provided accommodations for me when I was informed about my removal from my connecting flight."
Cons: "I didn't enjoy the sassy customer service representative who "assisted" me in redirecting me for the next possible flight to India. She booked me for a flight to London and told me that I was also confirmed for an Air India flight from London to Delhi. This "confirmation" was false after checking in with Air India. There was no entry of me being registered for the flight. Luckily, there were enough seats to make my accommodation. The looming concern that followed was that my bag was clearly not going to be in Delhi once I arrived to my destination. This then became my reality and had to deal with not having my luggage for 6 days in India. There was blatant disregard between both airlines in trying to deliver my bag to me. They both blamed each other and refused to claim responsibility. With both refusing to claim fault, I had to fend for myself and pay for clothes and other necessities. Hands down, the WORST experience I've ever endured while traveling with any airline. I vow to never fly Air Canada and Air India ever again."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats. Unhelpful ground staff. I missed my connecting flight due to bad weather and the attitude of the Air Canada staff was total indifference. I was told by the ground staff in Philadelphia that someone will be there to help us to quickly get to our connecting flight. Not only was no one there , but the quicker route to the gate closes after 11pm making us take the long way, therefore ensuring that we would miss the connecting flight. The two employees making new reservations took more than an hour to deal with 7 passengers. If you're economy class not only do they not pay for a hotel, they do not help in any way whatsoever other than handing you a card with a phone number to call to make your reservations (at a discounted price). After arriving at the hotel at 3 am in the morning, checking out at 1pm and spending 10hrs at the airport I finally got on my flight and spent another 14 hours in an uncomfortable seat before arriving in Delhi. Overall a terrible experience. I will never fly Air Canada again. You can only truly judge a business by seeing how it behaves when something goes wrong. Air Canada failed miserably!"
