Cons: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Cons: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

I didn't. Told me I couldn't bring all of my liquor in to the US... I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don't travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great."

My mother with Lymes disease was waiting 3 hours in Providence supposed to arrive a 11:50 instead 2:50am we were so tired missed a day of vacation."

Cons: "The boarding process is very confusing. There are so many different boarding priorities and programs, it is difficult to know where you are in the boarding process. Even if you have a ticket labeled as Group 1, you may still be one of the last boarded because of all the different programs that have priority over you. Would be better to limit the advance boarding to people who need extra help and a single program. This leads to the question, why are there so many different programs? Wouldn't it be easier to have a single loyalty program? If you don't qualify for advance boarding because you did not purchase a first class seat, or you haven't reached the advance boarding requirements, you don't qualify. Let's start thinking about the customer again, and less on the profit margin. How would one of your executives feel if they had a boarding Group 2 and 85% of the plane was already boarded by the time your group was called, thereby limiting the space for your correct size carry-on? One more thing that would be beneficial, enforce the size limit for carry-on luggage. I have been to airports that limit the size with a box on the x-ray machine so you can not even get an oversized piece of luggage through security. Just one idea for the industry."

Cons: "The flight was delayed over two hours due to weather conditions at ATL. Good thing too as my inbound flight from SRQ-ATL was delayed as well and if this flight had been on time I would certainly have missed the connection. For some reason I couldn't get my boarding pass from ATL-BWI to show up in the Fly Delta app on my phone, and I couldn't seem to print one at any kiosk in the terminal at ATL. I scanned the SRQ-ATL boarding pass and that worked fine. My connecting flight to BWI was also delayed due to weather at ATL. There were two hours between landing at ATL and taking off for BWI, plenty of time to move a bag from plane to plane, yet my suitcase took a different flight from ATL-BWI and I still don't have it even though they promised I would have it delivered to my apartment by 6:30A this morning. I understand that weather was a problem in Atlanta but really? When I landed, I noticed in the Fly Delta app that my bag was taking a later flight to BWI despite more than ample time to get it from the SRQ-ATL plane to the ATL-BWI plane. This was good, as I didn't bother to wait for my bag at the carousel but proceeded directly to the Baggage Services office. I was assured my bag would be delivered to my apartment after that flight landed at 8 PM. Continued to check bag status in the Fly Delta app and noticed that they scheduled delivery to my apartment by 6:30 AM this morning and closed the claim. I left for work at 7 this morning and still no bag. I filed a property loss claim at Delta's website; delayed baggage flyer suggests doing so will get me a $25 or $50 voucher for future travel since the bag was not delivered within 12 hours of my delayed bag claim at 2:15 PM. Too bad it has to be used within 30 days and I don't think I will be able to fly anywhere within 30 days."

After being assured by the airline that staff would help her with her carryon luggage, she was abandoned and ignored by both flight attendants. Each flight attendant referred het to the next, so she is walking back and forth tor their amusement. Tears rolling down her face, finally an elderly passenger helped her. Then the staff gave her attitude the entire flight. She may appear healthy, but she was cut from her neck to her waist and had two rods inserted along with bone grafts. I just cannot believe how awful she was treated."

Flight went through a series of delays until we were finally informed that our flight would not make the flight departing Philly to SF. Rather than fly to Philly during the DNC, we decided to SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT IN PROVIDENCE and take the flight out the next day. This part of the trip caused me to lose a day of work and spend more money on a hotel and meals. This was very poor planning on your part since there were flights flying in and out of both places, but your company was short one aircraft that would have gotten my son and I home on time!!! This was my last flight on American Airlines and I will be sure to spread the word to my friends and family that you have become too unreliable!!"

Customer service was not great. I was flying to see my daughter graduate, and the only time they could get me out was when the graduation started. No hotel vouchers were given for the delay either, so the airport bench ended up being the bed. So I ended up being stranded in Newark for an additional 8 hours to just miss her graduation."
