I called 3 times to get headphones and they never came to give me any. The food was dry and we were only fed twice. I’m vegan/vegetarian so there wasn’t any options."

Cons: "Service was extremely slow, it took almost two hours just to get offered a drink. There wasn't any offering after boarding and I had to ask just to get water. The food was quite bad, normally I would choose the Japanese meal, however, both the Japanese and International options were poor. The staff seemed unorganized and did not follow a set protocol."

If you're further back or not so tall s difficult to see which queue is correct... quite a few people (not me fortunately!) got turned away because they don't know ANA's boarding system. Also a problem with boarding at HND where the overhead monitors show BIz but not First/Diamond. As some other reviews pointed out, BBC news just didn't work. CNN worked intermittently."

Cons: "The lack of legroom in economy class is a serious problem on long flights. I am only 6' tall/145 pounds, Window and middle seats are are not an option for me. This fact Is a strong disincentive to travel (no, I am not willing to pay the upcharge for the minimal legroom increase, i.e. to make that charge worth paying considerably more room would have to be provided."

Pros: "Great airline. If I give United 1 *, then ANA gets 4* in my book. The staff and flight attendants are very attentive to your needs, polite, always pleasant. I've been using ANA for my frequent trips between Japan and the states, they are consistent. The in flight food is good. You will get complimentary wine, Haagen Dazs ice cream dessert. Cathay Pacific also serve HD ice cream, but half the size on lunch meal. ANA serve on both meals."
Cons: "i could give ANA a 5*, but I think their web site needs work ! their web navigation is kinda confused, a little bit less intuitive. If you are in the US you need to log on to the ANA US site, the JP site is in Japanese and it will not redirect you to US. On line check in can get confused as a lot of time it would not recognize the booking number, you have to use a long 10 digit e-ticket number. My fight from Tokyo to HKG would let me check in and get seat assignment until 24 hours before the scheduled flight. The seat map shows all seat ps were taken without telling what is going on."

Cons: "When I went to counter to get my seat assignment I was offered 25,000 yen to take a later flight because mine was overbooked. I agreed and began notifying my transportation at my final destination when I was told nevermind, space was no longer needed. This was aggrevating."
