Pros: "I bought a return ticket from Panama City to Rio on Kayak and was not notified that a Yellow Fever shot was necessary for re-entry to Panama. Turned back at the air port in Rio I had to spend an extra 13 days in Rio de Janeiro at my expense, three to see doctor and get vacine, plus ren day waiting period."
Cons: "To change ticket I had to pay change fee plus fare difference. Copa said it was not their responsibility to notify passengers of health alerts and Kayak should be responsible. Needless to say I was on the hook for the time and the bill. I have flown Copa with satisfaction a number of times but this is enough to discourage me from ever flying them again and possibly ever using Kayak again."

I would definitely fly again. I speak Spanish but all Copa staff speak English, so it was really easy."

Also I would imagine that during Covid-19 these companies would do a better job of not overbooking flights but all of my flights with American this past weekend were overbooked. Which delayed us even longer as they searched for volunteers to adjust their flights. In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."

Cons: "The check-in person said my baggage (oversized, and a keyboard) would make it through to my final destination even though I had another flight on a separate reservation. I specifically asked because I wanted to know if I needed to pick it up when I landed after the first leg in Toronto. He said I'd only have to go through customs and my bag will make it all the way home to Vancouver. Well, I felt weird about it and when I got off in Toronto I noticed that my baggage receipt said Toronto on it (not Vancouver). I decided to forego the connections gate because I was unsure. Lucky that I did because lo and behold, my keyboard bag was waiting for me at baggage claim. Had I trusted the check-in guy, I would've possibly lost over $1000 worth of equipment. That's not something that can easily be forgiven."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours. My flight and one other were the last to leave that night. There were no TVs on this flight. The only way to watch movies was on a smart phone or electronic device through their app. My poor old fashioned dad, didn't bring his phone so he would have just sat there for seven and a half hours if I didn't let him borrow mine. AirCanada's alternative is to rent an iPad from them, just another way for airline companies to get money out of us. The movie choices on their app were bad and older. International flights usually have new movies to so it is less likely passengers have seen them already."

Cons: "Bumped off a direct flight from Toronto to Fort lauderdale with 6 other people. We all booked back in february. They are overbooking 5 to 10 percent now and kicking off the people who paid the least. There is no advantage to booking early only to be bumped. At the gate the AC employee said we would be credited 3 to 4 hundred dollars but we had to run to the customer service desk and then hop on an AC flight to Houston connecting with United Airlines to Fort Lauderdale. At the customer service desk a herd of people waited anxiously to be re booked and compensated. When they started handing out notice that they would send us 200 in the mail there was an uproar that fell on deaf ears. We then ran to get on the houston flight only to find out that flight was overbooked as well. We had to wait to see if they had any no shows. Fortunately I was able to stay on the plane. Upon arriving in Houston we were quickly ran to the United airline gate only to find out that Air Canada had dropped the ball again. We were not booked on the flight. Five of us had no seats booked , while I was booked to depart on a morning flight the next day with no accomodations arranged? Fortunately for us United Airlines picked up the ball and some how got us on the plane to Fort Lauderdale. Upon arriving around 1140pm! should have arrived at 5:20pm direct! we quickly ran to the AC terminal to get our luggage that was originally checked on the first flight. We were told that it would be there. AC employees with no concern at all told us it's not here and it would have been on the united flight that we just arrived on. After I explained that we werent even scheduled to be on the United flight by air canada, so there's no way it made it onto the plane. They looked at us like we were idiots, closed thier office doors and walked away. We ran back to the other terminal( shuttle buses stop at 11pm in Fort Lauderdale?) only to find no luggage again. Fortunately United picks up the ball again and traces our luggage back to Toronto, AC pulled it and left it sitting there. Because of Air Canada's inept employees I missed my rental car reservation and had to buy new clothes for the wedding the next day. They said they'd have the luggage to me by 11 am , it arrived at 11:30 pm the next day. Save yourself the hassel, fly any other airline other then the iconic continually bailed out by the federal goverment airline. If you know, no matter how bad your company and service is ,you will always be bailed out would you work hard? Probably not, hence the atrocious attitude and poor performance of this dead horse airline."

Cons: "Problems that were, to be sure, not entirely the airline's fault. The trip from Toronto to Austin was delayed because someone had taken the flight attendant's bag from the overhead. We had to wait until either the bag was recovered or a new flight attendant was brought in. On the return flight, the first officer had ruptured her eardrum, and the plane could not leave Austin until a new pilot was flown in from Toronto. It took hours for the airline to arrange for hotel rooms. The airline then offered vouchers when we arrived in Toronto, but their representative brought enough for only about 2/3 of the passengers."
Cons: "This Air Canada flight was operated by Lufthansa and was cancelled due to the strike. So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."
Pros: "The price for a round trip flight Philadelphia to Barcelona was fantastic. Unfortunately, this was a case of you getting what you pay for. Both my husband and I were very unhappy with the entire experience."
Cons: "Airplanes were very uncomfortable, flight crew was unfriendly (smiles were scarce and you felt you annoyed them if you wanted anything), service took too long (perhaps not enough personnel for number of passengers), plane was extremely warm, food was only fair -- all other international flights I've taken have had much better food and comforts). We had long layover on return flight in Toronto and airport and Air Canada personnel were not very helpful or accommodating. When we asked for a suggestion on where we could go in the airport to kill several hours (eating, drinking, watching TV), were were told by many that the airport is bad and we're given conflicting or poor answers. Intimately the advice given put us having to go thru security and Custims again (even though we already had) and that process was extremely disorganized and time consuming."

Did not get either of the seats I had paid and prebooked. Therefore Air Canada is taking money but not providing the service or product...... technically this is stealing"

Pros: "I am glad to have this opportunity to express what I was thinking when I got off the plane on Sunday. That was one of the best flights I have ever had. The flight was so smooth, take off, during flight and landing. Koodoo sto our captin! Also, I noticed the sir quality was great. I'm didn't feel dry or irritated by the sir as can sometimes happen. The crew were pleasant and I liked my seat. Hope the flight back is as enjoyable."

Planes need a major upgrade to entertainment equipment. view screens are 20 years old, the touch screens don't work on the first try because its such old underpowered tech. Safety demonstration props missing."

Air canada wasn't able to get us a hotel voucher until 1:45 am and hotel check in at 2 am. Complete disruption of travel plans. Customer service at Toronto airport was terrible."

Cons: "I was sent to Frankfurt because Air Canada messed up my flight. When I got to Frankfurt, they had booked me on a lufthansa flight. When I got to the gate to get a boarding pass, the person told me that Air Canada had not paid them for the flight and unless they were able to contact them before boarding the plane, I would not be able to get in. They were able to do so right before boarding. The plane from Frankfurt was over one hour late. I was supposed to arrive in Lyon at 10:35am and got there at 7:30pm. Throughout all this ordeal, Air Canada staff members were mostly unhelpful and often rude."

Cons: "I was very unhappy at check in area, long queue to check in then at the baggage area I was told by a staff member to put the baggage onto the scales then lift it onto the conveyer belt I am a 74 year old senior and I had great difficulty doing this and I was very annoyed as the staff member watched me struggle but did not offer to help. A kind passanger assisted me. This was even more annoying as I had to pay $25:00 + tax for my case."
Pros: "Spacious seating and friendly staff"
Cons: "Media center was outdated and lacked options. Food was bland and lackluster for vegetarians"
Cons: "Canceled flight Toronto to vancouver BC missed our connecting flight, no option from airlines to provide accommodation or alter net transportation to final destination (Portland OR). Has to spend additional money and time traveling due to that. Supper inconveniences by it!"
Pros: "Friendly and professional staff"
Cons: "Entertainment system is crappy and looks like it's from the 1990's. It needs a serious overhaul. I reserved windows seats and showed up to check and had been placed in the middle."
Pros: "There is nothing I liked about air Canada"

Pros: "The boarding process, with a child is good. They allow you to board earlier than your designated zone."
Cons: "The check in process took over 30 minutes with a desk agent and the "system wasn't working properly." There were no food options from the menu available. The crew did not appear as knowledgeable as other crews I've flown with."

Cons: "Entertainment system was slow and buggy, and very difficult to select anything. Took 5 minutes to turn the volume down."
Cons: "They made me wait so long on the phone just to buy tickets and when I bought one, the staff member didn't include the returning flight, so I had to call back again and wait even longer for somebody to assist me. It was a nightmare. Also, I they don't refund or transfer tickets so be aware of that. Flight's were on time though."
Pros: "Flight was underbooked so I took an option to change my seating for more space."
Cons: "I requested a vegetarian meal and was given the exact same mediocre meal for both lunch and breakfast."

Pros: "The Rio de Janeiro international airport is very difficult to traverse. However, the airport staff was very helpful in directing me several times to the correct location."
Cons: "United needs a check-in kiosk located between the domestic arrivals section and the international connection hallway just before security. I had to walk to the complete length of the airport and back again, just to check-in. Other airlines, such as Delta, have a kiosk located just before the security entrance. The cabin temperature was absolutely freezing during the flight, and I am usually hot."

I didn't have a good experience, they seemed rather bothered when I asked for some help. So this time my daughter booked my flight with United. Like I said everyone was helpful and very pleasant, it didn't seem to be an act. I enjoyed my flights. Thank you"

Cons: "In flight entertainment worked fine at first but then, halfway through my movie, it just kept stopping and trying to buffer. I tried to reboot my device, reset internet connections, restart the app, but nothing worked. Even though I had 40 minutes left in the movie and 90 minutes left on my flight, I couldn't finish the movie."

Cons: "We were late boarding. Once on the plane flight was delayed longer due to a maintenance issue. Once on the run way, pilot said one of the engines would not start and we would have to turn around."

You are the worst company in this world."

Cons: "The pilot speeding up and then putting on the brakes time after time on flight from Norfolk 10:30 am to Dulles today. Very rough flight and it was beautiful smooth air today. I'm a private pilot and could not figure out what was going on,"
Pros: "Crew & flight! Ladies were really nice & we were about 45 mins early which is always a plus!"

Cons: "Flight was changed on me last minute so I had to call United and see if I could negotiate a better flight time. Layover in LA went 3-4 hours longer than expected so I ended up getting in a lot later than expected, meaning I had less time to spend with my wife. I missed my flight on my way back - I think when everyone was boarding, I somehow misinterpreted the digital sign that said "Ontario" to mean that they were boarding for Ontario. I had to sleep in the airport that night because I missed the flight - most uncomfortable experience ever! I paid for United's lounge but they weren't open 24/7. Then they almost didn't let me in the next morning to the lounge because technically it was only for that 1 night, even though I had been at the airport all the same. Lesson learned - maybe I should just drive to SD rather than fly."
