Cons: "I was shy about 45 min of boarding my flight. I didn't want to do self check out because I wanted to make sure my Itinerary was right so I went to a clerk. She did my boarding pass by verifying who I was and by my Id and printed out. I then go to security they asked for my Id and boarding pass. I gave it to them and she was like Ingrad is not your name doesn't match your ID. I said no it doesn't your going to have to go back up and get my boarding pass redone again. I was Furious and frustrated because I didn't want to miss my flight over a mix up from one of your Clerks and at the time she never asked me if I wanted a window seat or not . This made for a bad experience going to Atlanta but I was grateful that I didn't miss my flight."

The same was the process from Los Angeles to Seattle that was our scale. Process too long and go back through security, the boarding gate was almost closed. I think that for these cases they should leave more time for the stopovers that come from international flights. For my part I did not choose this option, since I was traveling with a person with mobility problems and separated the group for admission to the process of entering the USA."

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

(Toilets outside of United Club much cleaner.) I had an economy plus seat, but this did not allow me to board early. So I boarded late and there was no seat in front of me. So I could not put my carry on in front of me. I asked if I could put my bag in top, but attendant told me that I had to ask the first class person in front of me for a favor and thank them for the favor. I did. But this was one of the more disgusting experiences that I have had on an airplane and I paid an extra 100 USD for the privilege of it."

Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."

We land in ORD and the gate team at our connecting flight was beyond rude, shaming me for having "two carry-on's". They demanded I surrender and check my overnight bag (really just a "gym bag") PLUS they charged me $50! When I challenged the charge and the luggage change mid-trip, they said if I didn't give them my bag and pay the fee, they would deny me boarding! I'll avoid United in the future when ever I can!"

American Airlines saved the day! Never again will I fly United."

Didn't get the boarding group thing since there was absolutely no division of where groups should be and no room for the group lines until it backs into the wall. Upon boarding I noticed we were in the center seating which was not what I had booked directly with United. When I had originally called, I explained there were four of us and the explained we could have 2 and 2 by a window but in separate groups or 2 and 2 behind the others in the middle rows. I wanted the window seats. Upon getting the res notification I noticed it was in the center so I called to have it switched to the window rows as previously requested and he said no problem and he would change them. I guess I should have followed up again since once on the plane we were in the center seats. I explained to one of the flight attendants since this was kind of a big deal. She was going to check with the gate agent and get back to me. I never heard from her again even though she knew where we were sitting. I guess she was busy and forgot! The four of us were tired and fell asleep which caused us to miss the meal which was served very early in the flight. No problem until later in the flight I asked the female flight attendant in the back if I could get a meal or some snacks for my daughter since she was now hungry. She told me she would check on it when the seat belt sign was turned off. At this time it had been smooth for quite some time and many passengers and other flight attendants were up and walking around. So if this fa was so concerned shouldn't she be telling everyone else to sit down instead of sitting in the back READING A BOOK? I still didn't have a problem as we patiently waited until she just didn't acknowledge us. Finally, I made the same request to a male fa while the same female was right behind him. He was great and came back soon with a meal I believe he may have retrieved from 1st class. He said the original ones in the back had been sitting to long. Great job to him. Sorry I do not have names. The Lufthansa crew on the way over to Frankfurt worked nearly nonstop, this crew hardly worked. Not impressed at all. By the way, I never write reviews."
