Cons: "I dont know WHY Delta changed my flight with ALIITALIA, but, DON'T DO IT DELTA. The check in process took an hour, not talking about the line, the ACTUAL checkin at the counter. I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

Ordered dinner, was almost as tasty as a Stouffers meal (it was some type of glop of lamb). 7 hours into flight the menu advertised a warm chocolate chip cookie, asked for one was told they THOUGHT they were out, came back about an hour later said the found one, but it wasn't warm, so I passed (not a real fan of eating food they found) About 8 hours into flight , the attendant said out of the blue that they were sorry about not providing the meal all together as requested, but that the other attendant didn't know they offered that service."

Of course when they scheduled the flight for the following day not only did they not have a full crew, they had NO PLANE. On the whole, it was pretty terrible."

Pros: "The gate attendants were extremely helpful in boarding this flight despite delays at the destination. They accommodated everyone and did their best to deliver efficiency."
Cons: "There were select in-flight crewembera that not only spoke rudely to passengers but also openly discriminated against passengers on board. They openly stated "It's always easier up front, isn't it?" They were openly rude and impatient with a group of passengers who clearly needed their interpretor and refused to provide any guidance when they group was nervous about missing their connection due to the delayed flight (they did actually miss their connection and were left to "look at the boards outside.") I personally experienced direct rudeness that was simply beyond what should be considered acceptable. A gentleman attendant was pouring ice into his bucket and due to a leak in the bag, she was pouring water all over my entire jacket sitting on my lap. Stunned by this, I loudly asked him to please stop and proceeded to ask for napkins. His response was "it's just water, it's not a big deal." I responded to say, "it's actually on my enitre jacket and I need to check that it didn't hit my laptop in my bag" and the response was "it's just water...you don't need to yell at me." I genuinely was frustrted but by no means was yelling. I was handed napkins and when he finally saw just how much water he had poured onto my jacket (the entire half of the jacket was soaked)...the response from the attendant was "Oh, now that I see how much it is...I actually am sorry." Implying..he previously actually wasn't sorry at all. I say with FULL certainty that had I been sitting "up front" or in first class...the apology would have been immediate and freely offered and would not have come with a degree measurement of damages. I am a loyal Delta flyer and more and more so I'm finding it hard to stay loyal to an airline with staff that continues to disappoint and concurrently creates such difficulties throughout the booking process."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

In Rome had to check in & go through security at Terminal 5 then get bussed to Terminal 3. Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

We were boarded an hour ahead of departure from Rome for our 10+ hour flight, only to be held on the ground for a one hour delay. Barring equipment malfunction, this is a totally unacceptable way to treat people. Be assured that I will avoid Rome in the future if at all possible. I trust that Rome nor Italy need my tourist dollars and there are many lovely other places to spend them. Exceedingly disappointed, Pam Just"

I feel sorry for the flight attendants who have to fill out paper credit card forms if you present an American credit card. It’s like we are back in the 1970s. Ridiculous. It’s a $45/bag charge to check your bag. That’s almost double the standard $25 for American carriers. May try to avoid BA in the future."

The staff at Heathrow was not helpful, telling me to figure something out and then email the company for money because they may pay me back, but also maybe not. Even before the flight, I had to wait in a baggage check line in Rome for 2 hours while ever British airways employee attempted to address an issue with a single tour group check in. They gave us no information and just had us stand there waiting, refusing to let the line move, implying we are less important than the tour group. It was a miserable traveling experience."

Cons: "Had flight from Rome to L.A., with a stop in London. At Rome airport, had to wait 2.5 hours in the check-in line. Once at the counter, the lady tells me "don't worry you won't miss your flight, because it has been delayed 3 hours, but bad news is you will miss your connecting flight in London!" She says once you get to London, British Airways will put you in a hotel overnight and you can fly out the next day. We finally get to London Heathrow that night, and there is no one at the gate to help us. After walking to the third floor where their departures are (exhausted with two little kids), I find a BA employee. Asked her if she can put us in a hotel for the night, and she says there are no more hotel rooms available!! She tells me to go find a room myself and they will reimburse me up to 200.00 pounds a night, then hands me a brochure about my rights, and walks away. Shocked, I followed the other pissed off passengers to a hotel reservation agency on the first floor. After standing in another line for 0.5 hour, the guy reserved me a room with one bed at the Best Western for 305.00 pounds!! Now I am finally back home, and will see if I can get reimbursed by these cheapskates."

Cons: "2 hours check in line... Plane to London over 2 hours late. They told us to fend for ourself in London to catch our connection, less than an hour to catch the connection... Literally running through the airport. I will never fly with British airways again"

Pros: "but few are excellent. This one came close. The ticket agent for American Airlines at FCO/Roma was excellent. Altho this flight was 'billed' as a British Airways flight, it was operated by American. A little confusing when one thinks they are ticketing on a specific carrier only to be 'baited and switched' to another. That said, the equipment was in great condition, the video worked during the flight, the movie choices were very current. The food was airplane food. What more can one say."

The customer service and rebooking were efficient but I was given no choice or explanation other than "you have been rebooked for tomorrow's flight." I cal already see that thia flight is scheduled to be delayed 30 minutes."

Cons: "The crew moved me to another seat on the return flight which allowed me entertainment but I hadThe entertainment console at my seat location on both flights to and from London did not work. That's 10 hours! to move away from my companions."

Cons: "DC to Rome via London. One hour layover is not enough time. Missed connection both ways and our luggage did not arrive. Customer service acted like this was our fault and they never heard the problem even though there were many other's on our flight with the same issue."

Pros: "Crew and pilot were excellent, especially pilot. He kept us all informed which was very nice. I was bored out of my mind wish there was more entertainment."

Cons: "Fog over London delayed our flight from Rome. Instead of dealing with this proactively, BA made us sit in the plane on the tarmac for three hours. When we finally arrived in Rome, instead of automatically rebooking us, they directed everyone to a queue. That queue, managed on a first in, first out basis, took FOUR HOURS, during which we missed more flights that would have gotten us home. If, instead, the queue had been managed by departing flights, more people would have gotten to their destinations in a timely fashion. We eventually we booked on a flight to NY and got a rental car. We were offered no compensation for this ordeal."

Pros: "We received frequent updates on the many mechanical delays from the pilot. I also appreciated the blankets and entertainment, on-demand movies."
Cons: "Being delayed on all legs of an international flight, coming and going. Also, the economy seats had as much room as domestic seats (not much). Boarding was disorganized."

Cons: "I dropped my Kindle and earbuds on the floor and there was so little room I was unable to pick them up! Anything I had on the floor could not be accessed because of the tiny amount of space. I would have to ask the passenger next to me to get up if I wanted to get my things."

Cons: "WEBJET.COM HAS BEEN OF ZERO HELP IN ASSISTING US WITH FLIGHT CHANGES. THERE IS TOTAL LACK OF INTEGRITY IN CORPORATE AMERICA NOW. WHEN BOOKING WITH KAYAK, MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT BEING RE-DIRECTED TO ANOTHER SITE. IT ONLY SPELLS DISASTER IF YOU HAVE ANY CHANGE IN YOUR FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS."

Pros: "we have a very old plane from rome to chicago no entertainent"
Cons: "it was a 10 hours fly in a old plane without any charger for computers and tablets,no individual tvs"

Pros: "More leg room than expected, food was airline food, but not that bad considering. Plenty of beverages, great selection of movies. Hour delay leaving, but arrived only half an hour late."

Pros: "You are pushed into 4 square inches. But the boarding and checkin process was much much better then the ny experience."

Cons: "We paid extra for 'exit row' seats and were sat in sets that had maybe even less room than a standard row! I was extremely disappointed, and even the flight attendant said he had flagged this with his management and they continue to sell those seats as exit row and charge a premium. Very poor business practice on BA's end and will absolutely avoid flying with them in the future."

Pros: "They were offering free checked carry-on luggage at the gate so took advantage of that which got my wife and I pre-boarding. Which was a good thing because the overhead bins were awful on this dinosaur plane."
Cons: "I thought we were getting a history tour upon boarding as one of the first airplanes ever constructed or something. There should never be an airplane that doesn't have personal entertainment on board for an 11+ hour flight. The main cabin had two monitors up front on each side and one in the middle section. We paid for "premium" seats, no charging options. The overhead storage could barely hold the smallest of carry-on luggage. The food was mediocre at best. We were pretty close to the front but every time the beverage cart made it to us the wine was already empty from the previous passengers. Overall pretty miserable flight"

Cons: "The customer assistance rep at PHL had a terrible attitude. She was very short in her responses, and seemed annoyed at the fact I needed help, getting my new ticket indicating I had a lap infant, as it was in my reservation. Ultimately, I had to report I had an infant with me at the flight gate, even though this was my second flight with AA that day."

Cons: "American Airlines and the entire Terminal 5 in Rome did a horrible job of communicating with all outgoing flights on Monday the 18th when their computer systems went down. They kept us outside the terminal for two hours without restrooms or any explanation, finally began sending groups inside only to wait more hours past our flight time. Finally made it to delayed boarding several hours later, only to have them inform us at the bottom of the tube to go to plane that the flight was cancelled!!! Just said pick up your bags on Carousel 10 and that was it. Got our bags and booked a hotel to go to for the night, and they came out and said they were going to bus us to a hotel for the night. The hotel I booked was un-refundable and when I called American about our flight the next day that got messed up too and ended up with an extra five hour layover between flights. When we went to board from Charlotte to Nashville, the boarding agent announced we didn't have any pilots!!! So with a full flight, had to wait for them to find us some pilots. Will not fly American Airlines again if I can help it! Also the tv/entertainment units on the flight didn't work properly."

Cons: "Having only one checked bag on a trans atlantic flight was difficult to work with. Also, having to pay extra for seats to guarantee that my wife and I would sit together. When we purchased the tickets for the flight I called Finn Air and they assigned seats for my wife and I, but American Airlines, the operator, would not honor the assignment. I won't forget that this happened and will look elsewhere when traveling again."

Cons: "Even though my wife and I booked our flight together at the same time we were seated apart by the airline for no good reason. In fact we each had alone passengers seated next to each of us."
