Comfort+ on delta was excellent room for a 6’4” male. No one issues. Staff was great. Flight was bumpy but the pilot did everything he could to make it comfortable. Internet went out half way through the flight. I am glad I didn’t pay for it. But that was a huge issue for users.

To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

When I got my check-in email 24 hours before my trip was to begin I noticed the arrival time for my return flight had been changed again, this time arriving another hour later. I received no notice for this change. Other than a shuttle service, there are no late night public transit options from the Victoria airport into town--a 25 minute drive. I was left with 10 minutes between the late arrival of my flight to claim my bags, clear customs and try to make the last shuttle. I specifically purchased my ticket so I would have plenty of time to make this connection. I missed it and wound up having to take a $60 (not including tip) taxi to get into town. Changing my itinerary to arrive 2 hours later without notifying me is unacceptable. I've never had any pot-purchase itinerary changes happen to me on Alaska Airlines, which also has regular service between Seattle and Victoria. I'm inclined to make sure I always use them from now on."

My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

I didn’t flinch about my full day of delays and connection issues but on an empty flight it would have been nice to catch a break. I landed in Pittsburgh at 12:30 at night and got to my hotel at 1:30am with an 8 am presentation. AA delays really have created a discontent with my business trips. As I use AA as my primary airline I hope this doesn’t continue or I’ll switch to United for future business trips monthly."

The female manager, Latoya, at the desk was overly rude and completely out of line the way she was speaking to guests. Apparently American Airlines requests 90 minutes before departure to check you in, however their website does say they will try to accomadate customers that have arrived late. This employee refused 24 people access to the flight that we had booked and paid for. She related that she could put everyone on standby for the next and final flight out of Saint Thomas and standby for multiple connecting flights from Miami to many different parts of the country. This is because American Airlines over books their flights on purpose and has no problem leaving people stranded at an airport. Another employee related that it was easily accomplished to confirm is for the flight as we would have plenty of time prior to boarding since the aircraft had yet to arrive from its original location. American Airlines would not speak to any of the paid customers and would not look into other flights to see if there were other options to get customers home. When we boarded the plane there were still 4 customers that American Airlines stranded at the airport with no more flights out of the airport that day. This was an absolute disgrace and it was disgusting to see how the American Airlines staff were treating people. Their companies customer service has nothing to say other then sorry. I will never fly American Airlines again and now know why so many other people also feel this way."

The gate was a mess as one flight attendant was tyring to do an additional "security check" which included asking where are my suitcases that were already checked in as i am at the gate. This security check made a mess, flight attendant were pulling people n and out of line. Messy. When we got on the plane, maintenance=ce staff was still working on it. This made boarding slow, and we ad to wait for them to finish drilling before we could leave. I sit down in my little middle sardine box (another reason i dont fly united - leg room) to find out that by the time they got to the very back row they ran out of food. So a very nice lady was trying to find me something to eat which was very nice but shouldn't have happened. In general dirty bathrooms, crabby staff, shitty plane and a pilot that cannot handle bad weather. Bags took almost 40 minutes to get out when we got to American custom. NEVER FLY UNITED"

Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Pros: "United's flight crew was very courteous and accomodating. At a time where customer service overall has taken a noticeable step back in most industries, it was nice to receive good service. Especially considering I was traveliing with my family of five (3 kids under 11)."
Cons: "While I understand this is not specific to United Airlines, I've flown now for about 40 years and this incessant need to monetize EVERYTHING on a flight is just frustrating. I am a 6'2", fit man and I'm not able to get a coach seat with leg room without paying an additional premium...in BOTH directions of my flight. This is after paying to check my FIRST bag...but before paying for any food or entertaiment i want to consume during the 3:45+ flight. Yes, charge for WI-FI; charge for alcoholic beverages, charge for OVERWEIGHT baggage. Charging for food and other items which were complementary 10 to 15 years ago is insulting."

Cons: "The gate changed twice. We were directed to a bus to take us to our flight to only be made to get back off the bus because we didn't have a crew. No one would tell us anything. Got back into the airport and then 30 minutes later got put back on the bus. The plane was disgusting, smelled like urine. The air conditioning didn't work. Terrible."

Pros: "Being able to watch movies and shows was really nice and it made the flight go by a lot faster. I was also able to avoid motion sickness from watching it!"
Cons: "The plug on my seat for the headphones didn't work unless you held it in, so I think that was broken."
Cons: "First flight was to leave before 6am but didn't leave till after 8:30 which ment i would miss my flights in DC and not get to St. Thomas until around midnight, too late to get a ferry to St John so I lost a day of my trip. Return trip was late leaving St Thomas, missed connection in DC to Norfolk, Should have been in Norfolk around 5pm but didn't get in till after 11pm. Paid extra for ticket insurance but was told there was no help for loss of day, meals or anything."
Pros: "I got a great deal on a direct flight from STT -IAD... $329.00 !!"
