Pros: "Pilots were good, they provided a smooth ride."
Cons: "Nothing better than other competitors (Qatar Airlines). Turkish Airport had poor washrooms and seatings (not expected from a European country). Flight from Turkey to Pakistan was without earphones, you had to beg for it. Less professional airline crew."

Cons: "Turkish was phenomenal. FareScan could have definitely been better. After booking they called demanding another $145 for my seats. They said they couldn’t complete my reservation without it and needed an email confirmation from me to approve the new charge. Seeing I was short on time, I didn’t have a choice. Will never do business with them again."

Cons: "They didn't have a vegan menu. I had requested vegan and called over the phone a month before my flight and they said they understood. Then on the flight I was told they only do vegetarian which was not good enough. After food was passed out to guests the flight crew dissapeared and never came to collect food trays till about 2 hours after and guests were starting to make a mess leaving food trays on the ground and isles. I had already selected my seat prior to boarding which I paid hundreds of dollars for. Then after boarding the flight crew asked me and the gentleman sitting next to me to move our seats to accomodate for another man that wanted to sit next to his wife. Then I was stuck in a middle seat and I paid for an isle seat. I thought this was rediculous. No one offered me a discount or anything! And the man that wanted to sit next to his wife wouldn't let the plane leave till he was sitting next to his wife. What was I supposed to do? Hold up the plane even longer? This was so crazy!! Outrageous!"

Cons: "The whole operation was shabbily done. Because of a Turkish airlines' flight delay, we wouldn't be able to make our connecting flight to Venice from Istanbul. So the agents booked me and my traveling companions on DIFFERENT flights the next day, long after we had paid to be getting to Venice. It took a long time and a lot of work on my part to get our tickets corrected to all be on the same flight, and the whole thing was very unprofessional. The lower price for Turkish airlines is not worth it when you have to spend an entire day of your vacation sitting in the Turkish Airlines airport hotel because Turkish Airlines can't properly get you to your destination on time."

Please keep the delicious Turkish food I fear a down grading for economical reasons. Don't do it."

Need better maintenance."

Cons: "We paid extra to have a bassinet as we were traveling with a baby. The entire row (a family) behind us was very sick, coughing, sneezing, and blowing their noses the whole flight. As we were concerned for our daughters health, we asked the flight attendants if we could lmove to the bulkhead that was open at the front of the plane. They wanted to charge us $500 EACH to move, even though the seats were open. One of the flight attendants even commented how terrible it was for our baby to have a row of sick people behind us, yet they refused to move us. Fast forward, our daughter ended up getting sick during our trip to Florence, and now my husband is sick. As such, we’ve had to miss out on things during our vacation. It would not have been difficult to move us to empty seats in the front of the plane, so we could use the bassinet we paid for. This small gesture would have made our flight and our trip much better."

Cons: "Getting to LHR early for. 6:30 am flight was no use since they don't have any departing flights between 11pm and 6 am. So we were stuck in the lobby for hours until ticket agents arrived at 4 am. There was one open coffee shop however. Then we waited for security to arrive at about 4:30 am to get through and it was quite a slow shake down. One through there were no restaurants open until 5-5:30 am. The flight itself was fine. Facilities at Frankfurt were minimal with toilets offering only one stall each. While standing in the long queue a lady and her young daughter were rudely ushered out by the male custodian for cleaning, and then it could not be used for another 10-15 minutes."

Cons: "Seat 31G had extra legroom. That was great, but no one told me that it would be a few inches narrower than normal economy. The elbow rest had a single layer and thus couldn't be shared with the adjacent passenger. I'm 220 lbs and he was around the same size. I literally spent the entire flight with my arms crossed to avoid pressing into him. That seat is meant for kids or very thin people. There should be a warning."

Pros: "Everything was exceptional. The crew provided excellent service, the aircraft was modern. Boarding was painless. Food was the good, all things considered."

Cons: "The quality of food was pitiful, not to say gross, in the economy class. I'm comparing Lufthansa to other European airlines and to what Lufthansa used to be. Alcohol was of the most basic quality. Yes, I know, it was economy class, but it's gone down. Entertainment was hardly better. No new movies and the variety of what was available was poor. Lastly, the choice of seats in the tail (of 747-8) was poor judgment on my part. We were being wagged like fleas on the dog's tail. The only good part was that due to the narrowing of the plane we had two seats and no neighbor to jump over, plus extra room between the window seat and the window. The end of highlights. Can't help but compare every airline to Turkish airlines, where even in the economy class they make you feel like royalty. These people know how to do hospitality and make you want to come to their country."

Cons: "Difficulty with Lufthansa's website made it so that I could only complete check in for one person in our party. When we arrived at the airport and they printed boarding passes, the Lufthansa agent re-assigned seats without asking or telling me and gave us all middle seats. Very poor form. Food was either average or bad, depending on what was served. Boarding is unorganized, with people lining up over an hour prior to boarding and almost completely ignoring their boarding groups."

A mad rush of people scramble down 2 flights of stairs, then are crammed on a tandem bus that drives out to the plane. You then cross the Tarmac in all types of weather to board. This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

Pros: "Check in staff and Crew are brilliant. Always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Some aircraft are a little ‘tired’ and a few things don’t quite work as they should. For example my wife’s headphone socket was broken, and therefore no in flight entertainment. But we managed. It was reported to the crew and they immediately set about recording it for attention at next maintenance and changed our seats, so no complaints there. A few of the entertainment screens are scratched, and the controls faulty. But still usable with a little perseverance."

Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). Pros: "Was not able to check in for the flight on the ba.com. Called BA on the phone - no help. Person in the Geneva airport - unprofessional, unhelpful, had to go to another agent to get seat assignment. British Airlines - disappointing."
Cons: "Customer service - useless and with attitude. Couldn’t check in for the flight either on ba.com or over the phone."

Pros: "Lucked out with a pretty empty flight. Food was actually good and there was ice cream which was quite a nice perk."

Cons: "That when I called to rebook another flight, I was on hold for 75 minutes. Yes, that was 75 minutes. I was switched from British Air to Finn Air and then back to British Air. It was a mess."

Cons: "-no communication -I stayed in 17 hours of cues -no hotel or meal vouchers -was not let out of the airport -no hydration in lines - people passed out -no line control, people were cutting and lots of arguments ensued -staff was not knowledgeable, was rude to angry customers -baggage was never returned to me, so I had to buy clothes for my business trip -did not answer phones -website went down -no apology or automatic refund, i had to call to get a manual refund"

Pros: "British AIT flight attendants are the nicest"
Cons: "The metal entertainment boxes where your feet go- io am 183cm and the boxes don’t allow me to stretch my legs"

Pros: "British Airways is what flying used to be. They are on time, polite, have great service, food and entertainment. The blankets, pillows and headphones are finished free of charge as are the meals that I thought were good. The personal entertainment systems include something for everyone. I highly recommend British Airways."
Cons: "Londoners operate at cooler temperatures than us Florida residents and I was freezing in a sweater and blankets on the flight from London to Tampa. The cabin could have been warmed up a bit."

Pros: "crew very accommodating."
Cons: "Bad food, very small space in seats."

Pros: "We didn't have the chance to like anything. But, they did find us another flight that took 8 hours longer to get home."
Cons: "They cancelled our flight AFTER we checked in!!! We felt stranded in Barcelóna."

Pros: "Was able to get a bulkhead seat. Wheelchair staff were very efficient at LHR and TPA. Wheelchair helpers were very efficient and friendly."
Cons: "The there was not a legroom class (or bulkhead seat)that could be pre-specified. I do not really care about other extras extras for premium economy. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front."

Cons: "It was American airlines not BA. British airways never sent our bags on our flight leaving Gatwick. We got our luggage 2 days later."

Pros: "All but one of the FAs were amazing. Very kind and patient with the kids on the plane. The plane was also very quiet and comfortable."
Cons: "The food was super greasy and not good. My daughter wouldn't even eat her Mac and cheese. The overhead voice is very quiet and hard to hear. I didn't hear most of anything that was said other than the safety briefing."

Pros: "Larger seats, TV Monitors, headphones and pillow immediately available, meals and snacks and in-between water and tea services, Crew was outstanding. Boarding seemed awkward at the last since families and rest of seats load at one time at the last but still doable. I enjoyed my flight. Thank you."

Cons: "way too much of bad to be listed. But can say for certainty that I will avoid to book with BA in the near future."

Pros: "Crew treated you well, boarding was organised and as a silver club card holder I was rewarded with priority boarding (less queues, less hassle)."
Cons: "Old style entertainment console, small screens, no usb or plug point for charging."

Pros: "Reasonably efficient and comfortable."

Pros: "Flew London to Luxembourg. The menu had a good selection of (cheap!) food. I ordered a sandwich which was surprisingly delicious. Crew was helpful and attentive. No entertainment, but a moving map was provided."
Cons: "No food was provided for free in economy class although we were flying during a typical meal time (11-1:30) American debit card didn't work paying for food, but credit card did"
