I had a medical incident on the flight. The crew was very responsive and kind, making the situation as "good" as possible. (I believe they were overly cautious, but it's understandable.) My only complaint is that the seats are too small. I was so cramped for so many hours, that it exacerbated my medical incident. I will probably not be able to fly in coach anymore, and cannot afford otherwise, so it looks like flying is a thing of the past for me.
Attentive, caring. Loved the communication in the app even before boarding and while on plane from pilots.
Boarding the flight crew was super nice. They came with drinks 2 times during the 4 hour flight from San Antonio to Seattle and they gave a snack. If you wanted WIFI it was $8 and they had movies, some to purchase and some free. The way the plane was packed you would think it would be free or cheaper. Our pilot got us there before our actual arrival time l, we arrived at 9 not 930.
Airline stewards for first class had an attitude not impressed .
It would have been excellent but we were delayed as we had to stop in Salt Lake City to refuel. I was supposed to get to Seattle at 8:40 but didn't get in til close to 11 p.m. But it's okay, all in all it was a good flight experience and my first time flying Alaska Airlines. :)
There was a medical emergency on board the crew handled it very professionally and the ambulance crew as well. I am very impressed. Thank you Clyde Barron 31 D

Delta has joint the nickel and diming airlines. The experience is getting worst by the day. 1,000,000 miles for a trip to Asia in Business Class where I got the same thing for just under 90,000 miles through an Asian airline. Where is Richard Anderson? Please come back!
Everything went smooth from check in, thru TSA, then boarding, and a smooth flight to ATL.
I had an extensive delay on my previous flight and we had another delay due to the crew not being there. We were scheduled to have a late arrival but due to the delay it was even longer.
overall the crew onboarding and providing service during our flight was great; they were friendly and helpful. I said ok to the entertainment because there was none, but the crew explained why which was very helpful. I am a diabetic and the type of snacks are not diabetic friendly (full of carbs and sugar). However, I am always prepared because I know the catering is for the larger population.
No tv. No free wifi. They need to ipgrade these planes - especially on a 2 hour flight.

Arlene was a great flight attendant. I also liked how one of the other flight attendants gave us a heads up about snacks and asked everyone to remove their headphones when it was their turn to order. Good idea.
I've flown many many times on Northwest and then Delta. The crew on this flight were absolutely the best I've had the pleasure of being looked after by.

The entertainment is a bit limited, it would be better if they added some games to play besides the movies and tv shows. But the seats are comfortable and the crew is polite
The pilot had to extend the flight time from san antonio to Houston to burn off fuel. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress since we had a tight connection to Aruba. And with no other flights going to Aruba we were worried about spending a night in Houston. We had to to run to our connection because of the flight crews mistake. Not happy.
Fine. The issues I had were associated with luggage being delayed from Turkey to Tanzania
Do not like the size of the overhead bin. I think staff should monitor the size of suitcases that are being carried on by passengers to ensure they meet the size requirement.
Flight was good and crew was super polite. However, there were around 5 kids screaming the WHOLE 2 hours. I understand kids have to come but parents need to do something to control their children. They make the experience terrible, especially after finishing 16 hour shifts at the hospital I needed some sleep, which I did not get.
Gate agent did not hold flight for connection, provided no assistance to get new flight

Delayed 3 times in a row for 4 hours total. Incrementally pushing back the flight claiming gate delays but they eventually changed the actual plane, due to technical issues. This strategy to avoid compensation to passengers is unprofessional.
The trip from LAX to Calgary was aboard a 737-700, which is more than twenty years old. Service was fine, and the food was good, but there was no inflight entertainment, and no WiFi. The flight from Calgary to Vancouver was also delayed more than an hour, due to congestion on the Calgary tarmac. And no food service, but there was in-flight WiFi which made a big difference.
my wife got very sick and we did not travel . we booked and bought the travel insurance and dot nothing but hassle and a triangle of stress in trying to make the insurance claim I called in and was told they would not give me anything in writing to say they would not refund my money back this make it impossible to file the claim I will never book with Kayak again.
Kayak was the problem! The tickets we bought did not allow for carry on or checked luggage and we ended up paying more for those services than the tickets! The paperwork Kayak provided for the receipt left the luggage policy for Westair intentionally blank. This was intentionally decietful on Kayak's part. Our additional cost was over $400.00! I will be calling customer service today asking for refunds and I will keep you informed on any review sites as I can. Keith

I like the web site, prompt notifications, website checks in process, and airport check in. The flight attendants are attentive and polite. The return flight was 2 hours late and reason vine doesn't sound like an unplanned and unexpected issue (scheduled plane maintenance).
Asked to cancel flight 6 days in advance of flight back to St. Louis, MO. Would not allow. No credit either.
Crew was nice especially by North American standards. Bad good. No entertainment screens. Terrible WiFi
Those flights were operated by Delta Airlines.. one of the reasons I booked them thru Expedia, even if the tickets are sold by WestJet. Service on board is good with Delta, but don't expect much snacks on inland flights in the US or to Canada. Their entertainment system was modernized, but not much new movies in the catalog.. Free Wi-Fi for Skymiles member aboard.
Great flight attendants, great luggage tracking, pretty good trans-pacific business class setup, food was modest. Only paid WiFi in business class unless you enter an Air Canada member number at the time of booking (e.g., no Star Alliance member number). Vegetarian food was tasty but had no protein. Overall, a good mainstream North American carrier flight experience. Acceptable if the price is right. Otherwise, I might choose an Asian carrier for elevated experience.
We had an unfortunate incident in the Maple Lounge. After five hours between flights including a delay to our return flight to Brisbane. I had two glasses of wine over four hours and when I asked for a cocktail the serving person refused (Saturday 15th August, 2200 hours), she refused me. She claimed to have counted my drinks, and said that 'as a senior person (me)' I could have a medical incident on the flight if I had any more to drink. This was an extremely confrunting experience which I have never had before. Quite literally, I had two medium glasses of (quite average) wine between about 6 pm and 10 pm. I had poured one other, very early on our arrival, for my wife.
The code sharing reservation with United was messed up requiring extra trip to airport to fix. Air Canada customer service 2.5 hours on hold and resolved nothing.

Food options were ok but the actual meal was terrible. On my way back, they simply said that there was no vegetarian option; somehow they struggled to get one meal and did not give me any breakfast at all which in my opinion was terrible. Never had such an experience in the recent years.
