Luxembourg has restricted the entry of travelers arriving from outside the EU who are not nationals/residents of EU/Schengen area countries or the UK and their family members until at least December 31.
Third-country nationals who are residents of Australia, Canada, China (subject to reciprocity at European Union level), Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Uruguay are also authorized to enter Luxembourg. Travelers from these countries will need official documents proving their residence in one of these countries (residence permit, residence certificate, work permit, etc.). These documents must be accompanied by a translation into one of the administrative languages of Luxembourg or into English.
Luxembourg has continued the restriction of travelers from certain countries (the US, and others) to the European Union. There are exceptions to this prohibition, however: Citizens or residents of Luxembourg with valid documentation – a Luxembourg passport or a Luxembourg-issued resident card – are able to enter the country. Exceptions also exist for healthcare professionals, border and transport workers, seasonal workers, essential highly qualified workers, diplomats, humanitarian aid workers, military personnel, travelers for imperative and duly justified family reasons, third-country national students attending an institution in Luxembourg, and travelers in transit.
Travelers arriving from countries not included in the above list, must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours before departure. Children under the age of 11, flight crew and passenger on a stopover waiting for a connecting flight and who are not leaving the transit area are exempt from presenting COVID-19 PCR test result.
For essential highly qualified workers, travelers for imperative and duly justified family reasons and third-country national students attending an institution in Luxembourg, an express request for the issue of a specific certificate must be sent to the Passport, Visa and Legalisation Office (BPVL) by email at (email@example.com).

This happened with each ticket I purchased through every other agency except for orbitz.com. Not sure if that was a Turkish Airlines issue or a kayak.com issue, but it was very frustrating. When we arrived at the airport, we could no longer be seated together because everyone else had already checked in online and selected their seats for an overbooked flight. One of my group members was issued a standby ticket and almost didn't get on one of the flights that we paid a lot of money for. I would call this travel experience subpar, but I don't entirely blame Turkish Airlines for this."

They make you get out of your middle sit and walk to the back of the plane to get a sandwich. The boarding process at the Istanbul airport is even more chaotic. They have their own security (after having done security at the o origin in Rome AND at the IST airport), which requires standing in an hour long line and getting profiled and judged by the airline staff."

I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"
