Cons: This plane had considerably less leg room than the previous plane in the A aisle. I would have booked a different aisle if I knew that I was going to be sacrificing leg room by being in the A aisle over B.C or D aisles.

Pros: My friend was experiencing knee pain and the flight wasn’t full. Alaska Airlines upgraded our seats at no extra charge to give her more knee/leg space to help alleviate her discomfort.

Cons: The passengers seemed a bit wound up after a 3 hour delay. When it was time for the safety review, several passengers were not listening to the attendants, and one attendant shouted "Hey, you need to listen. This is important. This is not a party bus." I understand her frustration, but her behavior was really unprofessional. I've been in customer service for years, and you never let your personal frustration show. She should have brought the behavior to the attention of the flight deck for the pilot to make an announcement, etc. Southwest attendants are always cool, calm and collected. I'll bear that in mind the next time I book.

Cons: Awful for those who are disabled. My mother is deaf and unable to walk on her own very well. They took her to the wrong gate and left her there in the wheel chair. She had to walk on her own to the correct gate because they took her to the wrong gate after realizing she wasn’t at the correct gate.

Really intrusive and, honestly, disrespectful to guests who are unfortunately a captive audience.

Pros: This was the most leg room I've ever seen in economy class. For someone who's tall--that's a huge plus. However, I couldn't sleep because I was so cold. I was wearing a sweater and long pants and was still freezing.

Pros: I enjoy flying on Alaska Airlines and this flight confirmed why I fly Alaska. Check in was a breeze, flight attendants were attentive, food was delicious. Easy trip across the country.

Without sale of open seat, the only way for Alaska to capitalize on that seat is to allow someone else to have a more positive flight experience with more personal space, so honestly she shouldn't have been rude. Tomato juice was hot from being outside, normally cool even without ice. Snack was fine, but minimal and snack boxes not available on short flight, so less stars for that. Entertainment nonexistent - film/tv access not available in flight without something in mobile device that was not explained, no plugs for charging.

Pros: The crew was great and kept down the noise level. This is the first time I have been able to sleep on an over-night flight. We also arrived early and our luggage was ready within the 20 mins. they say.

Cons: The ice falling from the AC was so annoying. It kept falling on my skin and it was jarring and uncomfortable. I won't be using Alaska airlines again until you get that resolved.

Pros: After traveling on United earlier this week and having a horrific experience, Alaska airlines was the complete opposite. I had no problem making connecting flights, and all your staff was very friendly And helpful! I only wish you were in the southwestern part of the country as I live in Tennessee!

Cons: I pre confirmed my flight online & checked in, along with a friend. I didn't realize I had to reconfirm when I got to the airport again, since my friend already knew the gate number. I had my mobile boarding pass on my iPhone, and got to my departure gate. When it got close to boarding time, my email boarding pass disappeared! Luckily I was able to get a paper boarding pass from the boarding desk. If I had not looked previously on my phone-I would have been delayed. Learning lesson on my part. Check in at airport too!

Cons: Because we arrived to LAX from SAN so late we had to run to the next gate and barely made the flight. The overhead bins were already very full so we had to stuff our stuff at our feet. Since we arrived so late it would have been better if they had allowed those with a tight connection to disembark first.

Cons: They delayed the takeoff because of catering, really over a half hour because you wanted to sell more sandwiches. So you make us late and the poor people who had connecting flight, it just does not make sense.

Cons: The gate agents did nothing to combat the gate lice that lined up in the "boarding" lane long before their boarding group was called. I almost missed my boarding group (which would have resulted in my carry-on being gate-checked all the way home) because the line was 40-deep. Only after asking the first person in line did I realize that the people lined up for "Boarding Group 3" were actually all Boarding Group 4. My flight didn't have working AC, and my seat didn't recline. I was burning up the whole time, and forced to sit at an unnaturally upright angle for the entirety of the 3.5 hour flight. I've never had a good experience with United. I will not be flying with them again.

The Chicago departure was half an hour late because the pilot wasn’t checked in yet. It is very frustrating when I run through Chicago airport from B to E

Cons: The United boarding staff was no help at San Diego airport. I was at the gate 30 minutes before flight take off time, but by the time I arrived, the door was closed, so I was waiting in front of the gate seating area. the flight time was 10:40, and my clock says 10:41, and the flight was gone. This is my first time in 20 years gate attendant didn't announce anything, and there are other people who missed this flight. Because of this, my rest of the trip was miserable, missed meeting in Santa Fe. I need a money back.

Cons: I am a bit tired of a lazy, lackadaisical attitude by ground crew and pilots. Nobody is showing interest in making the system work better by hustling. They take their time, almost slothlike, with an air of arrogance that tells me that they don’t respect me. It appears in how long it takes to pull a plane in, how long it takes to get bags off, and how long it takes for bags to hit the baggage claim.

Pros: It was quite average, nothing special.They severed some drinks and you get a bag of pretzels. The staff was very friendly and nice. It was only a 1 1/2 flight, so the only entertainment is magazines.

Cons: Well, we were greeted at the gate by an attendant who told us we'd probably miss our connecting flight and that we could go home and try again tomorrow or chance it. Then he charged $200 for my board bag (talking a surfboard to Costa Rica) and finally we arrived with 4 others just as our flight was scheduled to pull off and they couldn't be bothered to hold the plane for us as we sprinted across the airport.

Cons: I had charged 300$ for my extra luggage this morning at the checking ....it never happened to me before usually I paid 100$ but never that much... I will never ever flight with United again for sure.

Pros: Ive been delayed at the airport since 9 am it’s is now 9:41 pm and finally switched to an American Airlines flight so I can get home. Good thing I did because now that same flight is delayed until 8:45 tomorrow morning.

Cons: They put my luggage on a flight 3 hours later. I bought this flight so I can get to the wedding rehearsal on time. All my fiancés and my clothes are in that luggage. So now we are late to the wedding rehearsal that my fiance is the maid of honor for and we still have to head to the hotel to check in and get ready. It's just unacceptable.

Cons: We had a connecting flight from San Francisco that we missed due to their delays. We still don't know why it was delayed. They didnt give a clear or concise reason for the delays. Our flight landed a few minutes before our connecting flight departed and instead of holding the plane like they have done in other reviews I've read they actually took off early. We were automatically given tickets to the next flight out to our final destination (which was 6 hours later.) This was sucky but we didn't have control over it so we dealt with it. However when we went to customer service to print our new tickets we were "greeted" with two apathetic employees. The first one we didn't actually get to interact with because after waiting in line for 10 minutes when it was finally our turn he held his hand up to stop us from walking up to the counter and just left. No explanation just headed out. So we headed over to the "premier" line for a procedure that should literally take 3 minutes to interact with the next employee who made it somehow our fault that we were mildly upset with the situation. My father always told me United "sucks" we gave them a chance but we should have heeded his fatherly advice. Oh and a bonus my traveling partner has a broken pelvis so sitting around for hours on end was just salt to the wound.

Cons: Their new fare for budget flights processing is outrageous. I was advised booking the flight carrying size only undervfront seat storage. Then got an email explaining how this works. Then tried to checkin online 24 hours prior and you can't since you are not checking baggage. Got to airport to find that can't checkin except at counter as you need a UAL employee to scan their I'd during process to get boarding pass. Waited for employee and then she was rude about it. Again reminded me I can't bring anything else onboard or will cost me extra at gate. If UAL wants to offer this they need to be more customer friendly. I was far from impressed for the inconvenience I experienced being s longtime UAL Frequent Flier.

Pros: San Diego airport had a curfew of 11:30. The flight was delayed 30 minutes and the crew did a great job of boarding with a purpose to expedite the process and have us ready to take off by curfew.

Pros: The airline seated an elderly physically handicapped man on the aisle, blocking me & my daughter from standing or exiting the row to use the restroom for the 6-hour flight.

Cons: On my flight back during taking off, I was throwing a trash away into a little bag that is also designed for vomiting. When I pushed a trash into the bag, I felt that it was already wet. Somebody vomited into it at the previous flight and placed it back to the seat's packet. I am not telling that it was the cleaning crew's mistake because it looked like unused until I pushed my hand into it, but it was still a very unpleasant experience and could be also a health hazard.

Pros: Missed connection in SF to Medford due to other planes at our gate not allowing us to de-board on time to make my connection to Medford ...!!

Cons: They did not let my daughter board to safely get home to my mother because she was to tall for a two year old and even after they were provided a birth certificate they still gave her seat up and wouldn't put her on a plane home until I bought another ticket. I am military I only flew with united because we have a contract with them

Pros: The crews were very friendly!
Cons: On the return flight from SAN to DEN I was assigned seat 38A. Nobody should be crammed into a spot that small!

Pros: The pilot continued to interrupt our flight home. Watching movies, 4-5 hours his overrides of loud, loud announcement were useless. Trying to take a nap, dark, early evening. We at 29,000 feet, we're ahead of schedule, we are going to arrive 30 minutes early. Then we arrive early sit on the tarmac, because guess what was at our gate; ANOTHER AIRPLANE! All his rushing and interruption were a waste. The ground team had him wait 200 feet away from the gate for another period of time. We arrived three to five minutes early, at 7:30 PM. Very unpleasant flight.

Cons: Seats are way to small and no leg room at all. Will not be flying united again

Cons: Plane was really noisy and made a weird noise during takeoff and landing. Sad thing was I had to board the saw plane from San Francisco to St. Louis as well!

Cons: I had the unfortinate luck in getting the seat at the very rear of the plane. It was a red-eye flight and i was really hoping to get some sleep because i knew i was going to have an 8hr layover in Chicago. No such luck on the sleep because the flight attendants were so rude, they were talking very loudly and very vulgar yhe entire trip. I know i wasn't the only one upset because everyone around me was trying to sleep and couldn't. We just kept looking at each other like "really? Come on people!" and it wasn't till about halfway during the flight that they came over the intercom telling how to turn off the tv's on the back of the seats. It took the person sitting next to me to use the flashlight on his phone to be able to find the right button on the arm of the chair. After the experience i had, i will never fly United again.

Pros: Shortened flight was unexpected & appreciated. Not sure if I lost some weight or united finally lengthened safety belts but I didn't need extension this trip.
Cons: Feel like I got conned & ripped off over set upgrade at the checkin kyiosk. Offered an economy upgrade for $79 which actually was $94. I selected seat by window that had no other passengers listed in the seating aisle but somehow in the short period of time I upgrade & walked to gate a middle eastern family with 4 kids, none over 4yrs of age happen to book the seats in my aisle. It was not comfortable & definitely not an upgrade worthy of the xtra $ having kids kicking my chair, yelling, & crying majority of the trip. Had an extreme migraine when finally landed in Houston.

Pros: Once in the air the flight was great.
Cons: 1/2 hr before boarding should have occurred we were notified of a delay- 1/2 hr. I knew I was going to miss my connection and asked, and told if I did they would put me on the next one out an hr later, but could not nor would not address it until necessary. When we arrived, they informed me of the gate to go to... which we ran to... and when we got to there were told the plane left 15 minutes ago.

Pros: Flight attendants were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Seats seemed cramped, drinks took forever to get. Plane seemed a little worn out and dingy.

Pros: I had a window seat, which was fine.
Cons: I checked in for both my flights before departing on my red eye. When I landed in Newark I found out I had been bumped from my connection to Portland because United had oversold my flight. The next confirmed flight they could put me on to Portland was the next morning, 24 hours later! I ended up flying to Boston and taking a bus up to Portland, arriving seven hours after I was supposed to, exhausted. United customer service was indifferent and unhelpful. I will never fly United again, no matter the cost difference.

Pros: Not much.
Cons: had a 1 hour lay over at LAX. I travel with a Service Dog. I had taken him out to the doggie poddy area. I came back in and had to have my Boarding Pass checked. They informed me that I would need to have my Boarding pass stamped for my dog. It took them 20 minutes to take care of it, by now I was running short on time to get to my flight. As I went through Security, I saw the TSA agent remove my laptop from the bin on the conveyer belt. I saw him lower it to the floor (I thought he was putting it in my bag). It wasn't until I got to Abq. that I realized my computer wasn't in my bag. I have contacted United, TSA, and LAX police. None of them have done a thing.

Cons: The flight was delayed for over an hour and then cancelled. We had to wait AN ADDITIONAL three hours to get on another flight. My wife was able to make the flight change on her cell phone because of the slow response of the agents. Out of five flights on our trip, three were delayed or cancelled for a total of nine plus hours!

Cons: Flight was delayed multiple times due to the maintenance issues with the fuel tanks. Flight ended up being delayed an 1 plus.
