When are they going to be responsible for everyone getting sick like cruise ships are? They should hand out masks and sanitizer because airlines are one of the dirtiest public spaces that there is! Show up late and barely clean the plane between its third or fourth leg of the day."

They didn't know and they said maybe it went into the checked bags. So I wait at the baggage claim and out comes my carry on bag without any tags. Strange! My carry on didn't have anything valuable, but a bit of communication or some form of record would have made this odd incident a little less nerve-wracking. 1. Please communicate with the passenger if their bags get transferred to the checked bags 2. Please communicate with the crew which bags get moved from the cabin to the checked luggage 3. Please label the bags if they get moved around--there was no gate-checked tags or any stickers to communicate with the checked luggage folks."

It is confusing and fairly stressful especially when I called in ahead of time to confirm I was ok."

My daughter and son-in-law were just about to board their flight in Denver to Cancun and had to scramble to arrange transportation to be able to meet us at the airport so that they didn’t have to wait for five hours in Cancun for us. We were only compensated with $14 that expired the same day to use in the airport for a wat later than originally planned. Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card.

I checked in using the app flying from IAD to CR and connecting in Panama. I was over 2 hours early for my flight. Upon boarding they didn’t let me board because I needed a paper ticket and a QR code nobody told me about. Your employee decided to just take me out of the flight instead of fixing the issue. She put me on a red flight. That alleged QR code Could have been completed on the plane since I am fully vaccinated. Horrible experience throughout. Your employees are on our parent and rude
Friendly crew on plane. Food and beverage service was appreciated. Copa staff at check-in was uninformed or new. He was requesting a document aside from the required negative covid test results to enter the US. On the first leg, a shorter flight, there was a screen on the back of each seat for easy viewing. On the next leg, which was the longer flight, there were only occasional drop down screens that were more difficult to view dependent upon where you were seated.

Cons: "We booked tickets to Costa Rica with Copa and they just changed our flights to two days later than the booking. They didn’t even bother to inform us of the change we only found out because we booked through Kayak and they let us know. Apparently Copa expects you to frequently check your booking just in case they’ve changed anything and don’t feel the need to inform their customers of any changes they make. Then we were told we could get a Copa voucher to use for other Copa flights for having to cancel our booking and rebook with another airline as a 48 hour change to our flight made flying with Copa not doable for us. But the website kept telling us we had a voucher that was sent to our email but despite repeated attempts it never came through. And spent hours trying to get through to someone on the phone to sort it out with no success ever getting through. My advice. NEVER EVER FLY WITH COPA."

Cons: "Copa check in is now at Terminal 3, but boarding is from Tom Bradley Inter'l Terminal. We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement."

There was more leg room than most other domestic air travel companies I have been on. There was no upgrade charge for every little thing, such as blankets, pillows, etc. We were fed on each flight, and alcoholic beverages were at no additional charge. The exit tax to leave Costa Rica was included in our ticket, which I was not aware of until I was leaving the country. (nice surprise). Over all, most other airline companies in the USA have made changes that improve their bottom line, but they have completely ruined any favorable aspect of traveling with their airline (American Airlines, Frontier, Southwest, Delta, etc). Copa has done a great job of providing great service and cost for travelers. Please do not change your business strategy by removing some of the above mentioned benefits I enjoyed in order to improve your profit margin. It is refreshing to know there are still air carriers out there that retain the service that is hoped for by most travelers. Also, Roxana and her entire flight crew were outstanding. Thank you , I will fly with you anytime I have the chance."

Pros: "The fare was relatively low so I was not expecting much beyond safe transit between Costa Rica and Panamá. I was pleasantly surprised by the robust flight crew that all seemed knowledgeable, very friendly, and professional. I particularly enjoyed the quick and easy check in, no extra charges for my very large checked item, in flight entertainment via headrest screens, ample leg room and storage, and the ability to charge my phone during the flight via USB. Even though I was a passenger in coach, we were provided a light snack and free alcohol and beverages during the short flight. All in all, even as a very frequent traveler, Copa surpassed my expectations. I will definitely fly with them again."

The explanation was quite vague, even though I asked the gentleman to repeat himself twice, but overall the change was fine. I was moved up a few rows and kept my window seat preference, so I wasn't upset. I only wish I had been notified earlier at the check in desk rather than holding up the line of passengers behind me."

Inadequate number of restrooms and poor signage to find them. Bad selection of restaurants. Then at the terminal, boarding time listed as 10:40, but they did not even announce the boarding gate until 10:40. Then a 10 minute ride on another overcrowded bus to the plane which you had to board by a staircase (and a staircase to the door on a 747 is no small thing!) Although flight was smooth in the air, the pilot landed so "hard" I thought the landing gear must have been damaged!"

Some of the families had children who were 7 or 8 years old and certainly had no need for pre-boarding; its just an opportunistic way of jumping the queue. Similarly, some of the "elderly" passengers who claim to need pre-boarding on departure spring to their feet and dash down the aisle on arrival. Air Canada boards Business Class first on this same route; I'm going to migrate back to them, as virtually everything else on the two flights is comparable."

Cons: "Had flight from Rome to L.A., with a stop in London. At Rome airport, had to wait 2.5 hours in the check-in line. Once at the counter, the lady tells me "don't worry you won't miss your flight, because it has been delayed 3 hours, but bad news is you will miss your connecting flight in London!" She says once you get to London, British Airways will put you in a hotel overnight and you can fly out the next day. We finally get to London Heathrow that night, and there is no one at the gate to help us. After walking to the third floor where their departures are (exhausted with two little kids), I find a BA employee. Asked her if she can put us in a hotel for the night, and she says there are no more hotel rooms available!! She tells me to go find a room myself and they will reimburse me up to 200.00 pounds a night, then hands me a brochure about my rights, and walks away. Shocked, I followed the other pissed off passengers to a hotel reservation agency on the first floor. After standing in another line for 0.5 hour, the guy reserved me a room with one bed at the Best Western for 305.00 pounds!! Now I am finally back home, and will see if I can get reimbursed by these cheapskates."
