I asked an Air France rep in Japan to assign me an exit row seat (it’s a 14 hrs flight and I am almost 6 ft tall). She showed me the plane diagram and picked a seat, but when I arrived it turned out I was in a row directly behind. WiFi did not worked and the flight attendant said “they could not do anything” My film was interrupted twice (with a random film drubbed in Korean) and had to be reset manually Food was not great (and menues are identical on all delta flights - this was my 5th delta flight in the course of one week), the snack in particular (leek and mushroom cream soup-like mass wrapped in a tortilla - who ever thought of this? And one of the flight attendants was aloof and snappy."

They failed to provide me with hardly anything besides 2 blankets and a few remoistened hand wipes to clean up vomit and was very rude when I asked to change seats, even though there were at least 8 other seats open on the flight."

Cons: "What I did not like was the process to go to the assigned air terminal in El Salvador, the process was slow and we took the flight at the end of the last one. The same was the process from Los Angeles to Seattle that was our scale. Process too long and go back through security, the boarding gate was almost closed. I think that for these cases they should leave more time for the stopovers that come from international flights. For my part I did not choose this option, since I was traveling with a person with mobility problems and separated the group for admission to the process of entering the USA."

Cons: "I purchased a basic economy ticket and upon checking in, my Delta app said my seat was unassigned and I had to get my boarding pass at the airport. I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

Despite the short flight, passengers were given a snack consisting of cut fresh vegitables(carrots, cucumbers,), cheese slices, ham slices, and small bread. It was the best "snack" that I have ever received on a plane. I will fly COPA in the future without hesitation."

Todo mundo anda corriendo para poder encontrar su "gate". En el counter de Copa y en el Servicio al Cliente lo atienden a uno como basura por la gran cola y con gran tranquilidad le dicen a uno: "aquí cambian los -gates-a cada momento" y por eso hay que estar preguntando y viendo las incómodas pizarras electrónicas. Con mi esposa perdimos el vuelo a San Fco el 26 de dic 2017 por estar esperando en la gate del ticket. Era otra!"

Pros: "I enjoyed the direct route from SFO through Panama to Mendoza. Panama airport is certainly one of the most expensive in Latin America which made the 9 hour layover expensive. Otherwise the flight was relatively comfortable and hassle free."

I cold not travel because I was missing my visa to Venezuela. The visa requirement for US travelers is recently implemente this past February and many people dont know about it. What if I am traveling by bus, by car or by boat?? Guatemal immigration does not require this. I have friends with immigration and I have confirmed this.....Show me the law that is enforceble.....Please"

I flew from Columbia to Guatemala with plans to leave Guatemala by boat last year and had to buy another ticket only to cancel it later. I talked to Immigration in Guatemala and they say there is no reason for you to do this. I just returned from Panama and was asked for an exit ticket from Guatemala again. I have warned all of my friends to travel with other airlines other than Copa only for this issue. I will never travel on Copa again until you fix this."

Después, tuvimos que esperar en la pista unos 20 min más, todavía sin aire acondicionado. Finalmente, pasamos casi todo el vuelo con los platos vacíos de la comida en nuestras mesas. JUSTO cuando el piloto dijo "prepara para aterrizar", pasaron corriendo para recoger la basura. En total, fue un vuelo muy incómodo. We boarded 20 min late. They made us wait on the plane, a completely booked flight, for 30 min without air conditioning (in Panamá, where the temperature is insufferable)! Later, we had to wait on the runway another 20 min, still lacking air conditioning. Finally, we spent almost the entire flight with our empty meal trays sitting in front of us. RIGHT when the captain announced "flight crew prepare the cabin for landing", the crew ran through to pick up the trays and trash. In total, it was a very uncomfortable flight."

I asked them to give me a document or anything as proof that I was denied on flight because my credit card company requested it, but they rudely refused."

Luckily, my flight attendant was kind enough to allow me to change seats to one in which the overhead light was actually working. Unfortunately, the plane was so busted that even though my overhead light was working, the headphone jacks in both of the seats that I had access to went off in the midst of food service, and as far as I could tell was never reset. Finally, and most appallingly, one of the flight attendants was completely out of control, and during the boarding process repeatedly and loudly scolded passengers. During service, she rammed the food cart into multiple seats so hard that food flew out of it onto the floor. Rather than apologizing to the customers whose seats she had rammed, she laughed loudly"

Cons: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Cons: "United airlines employee Mearle at the check in counter was extremely disrespectful, Rude, and arrogant towards everyone in line at the counter Trying to check in. Many customers including us waitted in the check in line for 35 minutes or more while Mearle proceeded to chat on her cell phone (personal call), and taking a break leaning the check in counter while everyone waited on her so she could assist with check in. Finally the passengers in front of us voice their concern to mearle stating that everyone is going to miss theirs flights if she didn't assist us all right away. Mearle responded by snapping back by saying "it's not my fault that united keep us understaffed and pay us enough to care " then laughed and walked away again. At this point we realized that if we did not get immediate assistance, that we would surly miss our flight. I walked in front of the line on behalf of everyone standing in line and reiterated to Mearle in a firm tone that she insisting check in the remaining 12 passengers immediately. Mearle snapped back telling me to "worry about my own self and don't tell me how to do my own job". Feeling very stressed out And worried about missing my flight went and stood back in line again. A few moments later I over heard Mearle tell the passengers ahead of us " you're too late. You've missed your flight" these passengers became very upset with Mearle telling her that she's the reason they missed the flight and Mearle laughed and said out loud to everyone else in line.. "you all missed your flight. You all should be more responsible next time and get here earlier" and then Mearle walked away never to be see again. Many of us missed our flight which caused many of us to also miss our connecting flights. We immediately called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Then we were forced to drive three hours in traffic to LAX where we caught a later flight and barely made it to our destination in time for our work event. We swore that because of Mearle and her disgusting behavior that we will never ever fly united again (and I fly a lot for my job) and since that horrible experience with Mearle two months ago, I've flown on four trips spending over $2300 dollars and every flight has been booked through American Airlines. Do to Mearle's bad attitude, disrespectful personality, and poor representation of united we will never do business with united again. We suggest united airlines remove Mearle from Having any contact with the general public as we are sure that Mearle is loosing customers for united at a very rapid pace."

Cons: "The boarding process was a nightmare there were 4 flights boarding at the same time from gate 57-61. People were coming in line from every direction and it took forever to walk a few feet to get my boarding pass scanned. Then about 1hr into flight it's was freezing in the front of the plane, I was in row 5 and the only solution given to several of those who inquired about it was to "take a walk to the back, it's warmer back there". We were dressed for the winter up front and people in the back were comfortable. It was ridiculous. Mind you this was a tiny plane 1 seat on the right and 2 on the left so not a lot of room to stand and move around."

It is clearly a business decision and United makes more money that way; but at what cost? If I pay for a flight; at minimal, I expect to get to my destination. Service, comfort, entertainment and all other categories rank a distant second to getting to one's destination. That is the primary function of an airline and United has compromised that through the overbooking practice."

Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Cons: "United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

Cons: "Everything was awful from the way they handled bags, to the communication about delays, to the delays themselves, to the failure to take care of passengers given the long delays. Before signing up for a Spirit flight, make sure you add the cost of checking carry-on bag, getting a seat assignment, getting any water during flight, boarding (yes they up charge for boarding). Then, make sure you factor in the small size of the airline which makes it far, far more vulnerable to weather delays - fewer planes, fewer pilots, fewer re-routes available. Also, add at least an hour to the end of each flight to get your bags if you do check them. So, you don't save money or time, and you're very vulnerable to weather and mechanical. With their organization this bad, I can only imagine how weak their mechanical is."

I left to get food and I was assured the plane wouldn't be there or board in the time I took to get food. It had been an hour and a half of delays at that point. Went to grab a bite and came back and the doors to board were closed, and was given lackluster help to resolve the situation. Not one call was given for my name over a loud speaker, meanwhile every other airline was calling passengers who were required for their respective flights. I ended up leaving the gate and was met with a terrible attitude considering the situation, and I proceeded to purchase a ticket with another airline and took said flight. It was a terrible travel day to say the least and spirit made it that much more difficult and ended up costing me a lot of money."
