First making my area narrow than all the other seats and between the plane leaving late and the terrible process of loading people on the plane . Delta airlines was all about the up sale from charging for every bag to charging for internet ,food so on and so forth. Also one bathroom in the middle of the plane ? REALLY ? Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again ."

Cons: "Very little leg room and of course as soon as we were in the Air the person in front of me reclined his seat all the way back so the Monitor was only a few inches from my face. This was my single major complaint. The food was not great but typical of an American Carrier. The foreign airlines do better on food. The last time I went to Europe I took WOW, the cheapest budget Airline and the leg room was MUCH better. You would think Delta could do better."

Cons: "I was flying standby. I checked the list on line and my name was number 5. I get to the gate and there’s just a handful of customers. The agent said there was enough seats for the standbys I wait and wait for my name to be called but no luck. My name wasn’t cleared yet. Finally I was the next to last one to get a seat. The gate agent who didn’t ask for my name tells me I was all the down at the bottom of the list. While I am glad that I got on I wish I knew what method is use to get your name on the stand by list?"

Even tho the airport at San Juan have not night arrivals due to the effects of Hurricane Maria, and on previous days the same flight had been moved to a morning schedule for that reason. I was notified of the delay within hours of departure of the connecting flight."

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

Pros: "Over all was okay, but when we all boarded the plane, they last minute said the pilot would be late, and delayed our flight for almost 2 hours. We were almost late to our next flight in Minneapolis to Raleigh which was also pretty upsetting. But, the service was decent, we didn't order any food besides the free complimentary drink & snack and the entertainment was very good. There was a wide range of films, shows, and podcasts to watch."

I had work and responsabilities the next day. TThe scheduled trip was supposed to take off at 7:45. Boarding started late and was very slow. My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

My fight from San Juan to Miami on Friday Oct. 7 was cancelled because of hurricane Matthews, since I didnot buy a roundtrip with AA they did not reimburse or offer me a credit for my returning flight. I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

It started out as a 30 min delay and ended as a 2 hour delay with gate and plane changes. Had we known it was a 2 hr delay we would have been able to go use the restroom and go eat in between without worrying that the flight will depart."

After some time and I saw that I would not make my connection to Boise, Particia got me on an Alaskan Airlines flight to Seattle and later to Boise. Patricia saved my day!"

I have to say the majority of people around me were expressing the same sentiments. I was also assigned the middle seat in the very last aisle. A flight attendant moved me to a better seat as soon as he could. I was very happy it was only a 2 hour flight."

Cons: "I'm claustrophobic and was stuck in an aisle seat. My air vent wasn't working and I tapped the flight attendant, a woman in her late 50's to mid 60's, asking her to help me with it. She said she was about to give the presentation on safety procedures and that it was "more important than air right now." This happened pre-takeoff. I was upset about it and she never did help me with the air vent. Then, they do the service where they charge for everything and no one can get up to go to the restroom until they pass through, and they take a long time to do it. I was very unhappy, but kept to myself."

Cons: "No entertainment on a 6hr flight, basic beverages; water/ coffee/tea you are charged $1.99 per item for on a 6hr flight, the seats are too close together, the crew is rude, way too many delays! This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling. And I travel for a living. At no time during booking was I told there would be an additional $40 for a carry-on - Who does that in this day and age with NOTHING to compensate for the long flight and the check-in girl at the counter said "oh, well you're charged for the bag because you're putting your bag inside the plane, like on top"- My brain cells died!"

So check the fees before you decide the ticket is cheap and add to the cost all that you might need, seat included unless you want the middle one in back next to toilets. Seat selection in my case added 10% to the cost of ticket. Brought my own food and glad of it since the cheapest thing was $2 drink and $3 bag of chips."

Cons: "Charges for everything. Even selecting a seat -- ANY seat -- cost additional money. Those charges were different coming and going. I couldn't plan for cost until after buying the tickets. The policies were not terribly clear when specifying what kind of carry-on bags would incur charges. So, rather than risk paying even more at the gate if my small bag constituted a carry-on, I just paid the extra money for a carry-on. As my father and his childhood friends used to say in their neighborhood games with special rules: Learn as you lose."

Cons: "one of the lead flight crew members was extremely rude to my brother. He asked a simple question regarding if the overhead compartment was free and she responded very rudely. I didn't appreciate that. Perhaps she may have been having a bad day but being unnecessarily rude isn't a good quality."

Then, keep I'm mind that you don't get to select a seat unless you pay another $20. When you finally do get on the plane after an hour delay and get your seat, you'll experience the most uncomfortable flight of your life in what can only be described as the equivalent of a folding plastic chair with fake leather glued to it. It doesn't recline, it has practically no padding, it has no head or neck support, the armrest is about 6" long and 1" wide to share with the overweight woman next to you, and the tray table is the size of an iPad mini. Whatever, brush it off and try to relax when they come by with your drink and pretzels, right? Wrong. Because the new Frontier Airlines has decided that they waste too much money on a cup of soda that must cost them a whopping 5 cents at the bulk rate they buy it in. You want that can of soda? $2 it is then. Bag of pretzels? $4 because f**k you, where the f**k else are you going to buy a snack at 34,000 feet in the air. To be perfectly fair, we arrived safe and sound, albeit late, and the people were friendly. That said, the measures Frontier has taken to inconvenience the customer just to make their ticket slightly cheaper is not worth it. I will not be returning. It's worth paying whatever the next best airline charges to avoid Frontier."

There was a open row and my friend and I traveling together just asked to sit there together since no one was in the isle at all.. I couldn't fit my iPad on the tray table because it's so small now. I miss having the TVs, and was not aware they didn't have them anymore so I was incredibly bored on my flight. As soon as I did I had a response that I needed further assistance from a representative and that I had to contact them. When I did, the woman told me that everything was fine. I re-check and told her the message was still showing up. She told me to try on my computer instead because the message didn't appear for her. Oh and before I told someone my problem I was transferred to the operator a couple of times. Finally I pulled out my computer an as soon as I saw the message called back extremely upset and told her that she needed to check with my confirmation number and to please not transfer me to the operator. She confirmed the problem was an error in the billing address. Worst experience for such a small problem. Crew wasn't too happy on the flight, chairs don't recline, no entertainment or drinks. You get what you pay for."

Cons: "Arrived at 11 am to check in, went through security gate. We went Through terminal, I was traveling with a group that met up and we had 3 small children 1 yr old, 2yr old and 5 yr old. We stopped at 12pm at the food court and bought to go foods. Arrived at the gate at 12:16pm which was suggested. Lady at the counter at gate showed no interest in getting us in our flight. She said we were supposed to be there at least by 12: 20 , when she turned around and looked at the time she realized it was only 12:17 pm and then changed her story and said we had to be there at least by 12:10p. We explained the website said also 12:16pm. She said there's nothing she could do and argued with my sister about how it was us not being "responsible". There was a flight attendant next to her while all this was happening, (We were turned away by the lady with boarding passes for next day. SHE DID NOT ATTEMPT AT ALL TO GET US BOARDED SHE KEPT TURNING US AWAY). THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, came running towards us at the food court where he happened to find us and told us to hurry that he was able to communicate with the pilot and he gave the ok to board. We threw our freshly purchased food in the trash and ran with out kids in our hands to the gate. As we got back to the gate area the lady called him and said no that it was too late. The flight attendant was upset and hinted to us that the lady was just being difficult. We missed the wedding we were attending and we threw away food we had just purchased. The FLIGHT DEPARTED AFTER 12:30 AND SINCE 12:16 BESIDES THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, NO ONE TRIED NOT EVEN ONCE TO GET US BOARDED. needless to say the kids car seats were in the plane along with the checked in luggage and the car locked in a security garage til monday. We were stuck and strabded and spent an additional 85$ just to stay in a hotel near the airport. We woke up this morning in our same clothes and are here in the airport today hoping for better customer service. The most HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER."
