Delta airlines was all about the up sale from charging for every bag to charging for internet ,food so on and so forth. Also one bathroom in the middle of the plane ? REALLY ? Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again ."

This was my single major complaint. The food was not great but typical of an American Carrier. The foreign airlines do better on food. The last time I went to Europe I took WOW, the cheapest budget Airline and the leg room was MUCH better. You would think Delta could do better."

Pros: "Flight was delayed by 2+ hours, Delta (running the flight for westjet) sent 1 email about the flight being delayed to 4:45 which was inconsistent with the gate signage and agent who said 3:45, flight ended up leaving at 5:45PM. No reasons were provided beyond the incoming flight from LGA hadn't come in. Why hadn't it come in? When could we expect to leave YUL? No answers."

Attendant said it was because tickets bought too close to take off don't get to pick seats, but we bought our tickets about three weeks before. Also, my boyfriend and I sat in a full row while the row in front of us only had one person. It would've made more sense to put that person in one of our seats and us in that row to give four people more space instead of just one."

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

Pros: "Over all was okay, but when we all boarded the plane, they last minute said the pilot would be late, and delayed our flight for almost 2 hours. We were almost late to our next flight in Minneapolis to Raleigh which was also pretty upsetting. But, the service was decent, we didn't order any food besides the free complimentary drink & snack and the entertainment was very good. There was a wide range of films, shows, and podcasts to watch."

Cons: "I rarely check bags but this was the second time in the last few months that I have and they were both terrible experiences. Last time, on my return flight home from Phoenix, I was forced to pay $250 for my long sports bag, even though the tag to get there was still on it and my receipt showed that it was the standard fare and was bluntly told the other attendant 'didn't do their job.' This time, after my travel mate already checked in and payed for two bags, when we brought the bags to the counter to drop off, we asked for future reference what the procedure was for AAdvantage card holders to get their first bag checked free. Her response was that she couldn't refund our money. I told her I wasn't asking for a refund and repeated my question - how to do it in the future, to which she responded that we should have come straight to the counter without checking in but all accounts are different and she had no idea what his was. To her credit, she did warm up after that, perhaps she heard how abrupt and unhelpful she was being but it was unfortunate to start yet another airport experience with coldness at American Airlines"

No leg room, sat shoulders and thighs touching with neighbors. No meal service, just drinks and pretzels, luckily we ate before departure. Never again!"

It started out as a 30 min delay and ended as a 2 hour delay with gate and plane changes. Had we known it was a 2 hr delay we would have been able to go use the restroom and go eat in between without worrying that the flight will depart."

Cons: "We had to land in San Antonio due to bad weather (understandable), but the customer service was appalling. They kept passengers on the plane for 3 hours and 45 minutes, which is prohibited by federa law. They failed to provide additional snacks when the passengers were on the plane for over 7.5 hours, and made it seem like it was such a nuisance when we asked for water. They were able to pass out one cookie by hour 6 but the flight attendant made it VERY clear that they had to do "so much paperwork" to get it approved. The flight attendants were rude, inconsiderate, and when asked what the game plan was after our 4 hour delay, their response was, ""not sure, not my department." If they didn't have answers, that's fine, but the manner and careless tone in which they replied was inconsiderate and insincere. When we finally landed at our half way destination in Houston, the flight attendant made a comment about how she can't get home due to all of the delays without considering that half of the passengers had the same dilemma and paid hundreds of dollars for their flights! The flight attendant had no empathy or respect and I would NEVER take this airline again. We spent the night at the airport and are still trying to find a flight to our destinatiom in New York :("

They have done a complete overhaul of their brand from when I used to fly them more regularly."

So check the fees before you decide the ticket is cheap and add to the cost all that you might need, seat included unless you want the middle one in back next to toilets. Seat selection in my case added 10% to the cost of ticket. Brought my own food and glad of it since the cheapest thing was $2 drink and $3 bag of chips."

So, rather than risk paying even more at the gate if my small bag constituted a carry-on, I just paid the extra money for a carry-on. As my father and his childhood friends used to say in their neighborhood games with special rules: Learn as you lose."

When you finally do get on the plane after an hour delay and get your seat, you'll experience the most uncomfortable flight of your life in what can only be described as the equivalent of a folding plastic chair with fake leather glued to it. It doesn't recline, it has practically no padding, it has no head or neck support, the armrest is about 6" long and 1" wide to share with the overweight woman next to you, and the tray table is the size of an iPad mini. Whatever, brush it off and try to relax when they come by with your drink and pretzels, right? Wrong. Because the new Frontier Airlines has decided that they waste too much money on a cup of soda that must cost them a whopping 5 cents at the bulk rate they buy it in. You want that can of soda? $2 it is then. Bag of pretzels? $4 because f**k you, where the f**k else are you going to buy a snack at 34,000 feet in the air. To be perfectly fair, we arrived safe and sound, albeit late, and the people were friendly. That said, the measures Frontier has taken to inconvenience the customer just to make their ticket slightly cheaper is not worth it. I will not be returning. It's worth paying whatever the next best airline charges to avoid Frontier."

The reimbursement received was not even half of the amount paid or the price for one way ticket to that destination. We received a $50 voucher that expires in 2 months. No one from that flight wants to travel ever again with Spirit. Customer service was awful."

We had boarding passed and had already paid for our luggage, Then she said we were supposed to be on the other line. She moved us to a very long line. I kept telling employees that our departure time was in about an hour and they kept saying we were in time. WE arrived at the gate 8 minutes before closing the doors. My luggage did not make it in time to the airplane and stayed behind in FLL. I blame those employees that did not inform us properly and to the lack of informative signs around the Spirit counters. This will be my last Spirit flight. The $40 charged per bag is too much and the carry-on sizes are too small."

As soon as I did I had a response that I needed further assistance from a representative and that I had to contact them. When I did, the woman told me that everything was fine. I re-check and told her the message was still showing up. She told me to try on my computer instead because the message didn't appear for her. Oh and before I told someone my problem I was transferred to the operator a couple of times. Finally I pulled out my computer an as soon as I saw the message called back extremely upset and told her that she needed to check with my confirmation number and to please not transfer me to the operator. She confirmed the problem was an error in the billing address. Worst experience for such a small problem. Crew wasn't too happy on the flight, chairs don't recline, no entertainment or drinks. You get what you pay for."

We stopped at 12pm at the food court and bought to go foods. Arrived at the gate at 12:16pm which was suggested. Lady at the counter at gate showed no interest in getting us in our flight. She said we were supposed to be there at least by 12: 20 , when she turned around and looked at the time she realized it was only 12:17 pm and then changed her story and said we had to be there at least by 12:10p. We explained the website said also 12:16pm. She said there's nothing she could do and argued with my sister about how it was us not being "responsible". There was a flight attendant next to her while all this was happening, (We were turned away by the lady with boarding passes for next day. SHE DID NOT ATTEMPT AT ALL TO GET US BOARDED SHE KEPT TURNING US AWAY). THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, came running towards us at the food court where he happened to find us and told us to hurry that he was able to communicate with the pilot and he gave the ok to board. We threw our freshly purchased food in the trash and ran with out kids in our hands to the gate. As we got back to the gate area the lady called him and said no that it was too late. The flight attendant was upset and hinted to us that the lady was just being difficult. We missed the wedding we were attending and we threw away food we had just purchased. The FLIGHT DEPARTED AFTER 12:30 AND SINCE 12:16 BESIDES THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, NO ONE TRIED NOT EVEN ONCE TO GET US BOARDED. needless to say the kids car seats were in the plane along with the checked in luggage and the car locked in a security garage til monday. We were stuck and strabded and spent an additional 85$ just to stay in a hotel near the airport. We woke up this morning in our same clothes and are here in the airport today hoping for better customer service. The most HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER."
