I frequently fly and my choice of airline is delta, this by far has been the only dissappointnent. Please do make sure this gets to the person in charge."

Cons: "The flight was scheduled for 7:45 pm. Due to the storm the day before, my flight out of Miami was cancelled and I was told that the flight out of W Palm Beach was my only option. I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

Cons: "We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

I checked back later and the app had me as number 7 on the standby list. I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

This made the 10 hour flight very uncomfortable as I went hours without water. Also, use of iPad for reading books wasn't allowed after the flight was established, I'm not sure who came up with these regulations but after spending a month on various flights in Asia, this was the only flight where I encountered these issues. Also, there was no vegetarian option in economy. Fortunatly, the staff brought a left over dinner from business class but I find it hard to believe that flight to the US would not have a vegetarian option."

I saw online that the flight my bag was on was cancelled. I have not been able to reach anyone about the status of my bag this morning. I'm staying 30 miles from the airport and will have to drive back to get my bag (if it ever arrives)."

The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."

When arriving at the airport in Tocumen, the agent told us our seats had been changed to the back. They said it was because they changed planes. New seats were in the second to last row, uncomfortable, noisy, and near bathroom. Instead of moving seats forward this is what we received. Disappointing:.."

Cons: "Our flight was in two (2) segments. One from Santiago, Chile to Panama City, Panama and, two from Panama City, Panama to Boston, MA USA. Our flight from Panama City, Panama to Boston, MA USA was cancelled due to snow. Not the Copa fault; however, rebooking the flight from Santiago back through Panama to Boston was very difficult even though we call the day prior after noticing the cancelled flight on the Copa website. We were successful; however, it took multiple calls and multiple delays on hold to make it happen. No e-mail confirmation was ever received; however, we were able to confirm the flight via the website. We were also unable to confirm the flight status on the website. Maybe it was a special flight or something, but from the customers view, it was discomforting."

Pros: "All of my grievances regard the Panama staff at the airport and on the plane, the staff and services at O'Hare were top notch. Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

There was no explanation for the additional security which was the first problem. Water bottles which were with us on the incoming flight leg were confiscated with no opportunity to replace them with unopened bottles due to the slowdown caused by the additional security. On a 6 hour long international flight, drinks were only served once and that was with dinner. Also, there was only a single movie and a 10+ year old television episode played as entertainment."

Pros: "The cabin crew was not just nice, but incredibly nice. They were patient and always had smiles on their faces (not that anything went wrong, but it's very nice to see a smile). There were 3 different food options, and they all came with a little salad; the in flight entertainment was working and people seemed to enjoy it (I was reading a book instead). Boarding was easy and fast, the plane was surprisingly comfortable!"

It’s not the first time it happens with Aeromexico, their airline is HORRIBLE & I didn’t expect with my first experience with Kayak to be just as bad. Never buying a flight through this website ever again nor am I planning to fly with Aeromexico."

Cons: "There were two runways in Mexico City and one was under maintenance so it took a long time from the moment we landed to the time we were able to get out of the plane. Then, they took our check-in luggage from the plane and it went through an inspection (bag by bag), so this caused another hour delay. After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

TSA approved it but the ticket agent still did not allow me to take it on, now I'm out $45. Also they made me check my carry on because it was slightly larger than the recommended size, even though it fits in their recommend size criteria."

Cons: "Food was terrible. Flight was delayed by several hours and the explanation from the pilot was that they were told to go to the wrong airport. Check in was a mess and took us more than 1.5 hours and they changed my booking without notification. Connecting through Mexico City was inconvenient, frantic and overwhelming. My luggage arrived with sticky oil all over it but there was no time to complain or clean it due to the delay in connecting flight."

Pros: "The crew were very professional, I liked the free entertainment system available ( movies, music, etc.), and the meal service was good. AeroMexico gave me the best rates from Chicago to Buenos Aires. The crew kept a good schedule, arriving and departing on time."

Cons: "Rude staff, didn't translate announcements to English, uninformed staff -- when asked questions about the constant delays, had no idea where the plane was, if it was coming, or if the flight would be cancelled. We were at the airport for four hours not knowing the situation or whether we would get new connecting flights that we had missed due to delay. We ended up going on the delayed flight and getting new flights at the next airport because the staff was so uninformed."

Pros: "It is always pleasing to be treated with respect and be attentive to once needs. Aeromexico has a clear sence on how to treat it's passengers and I truelly enjoy their service."
Cons: "The flight was on time. It arrived on time. The Captain had good experience ,because even in turbulent weather He manage to maintain a steady flight. The flight crew was attentive, well mannerd and diligent."

Cons: "The plane was way too hot. Crew unable to correct it. Also, when the flight was booked, by phone, the Aeromexico agent gave us seats toward the front of the plane. Nothing was said about an extra charge for those seats. Then at checkin, the terminal agent said there would be a charge of $150 US for each seat. We declined so were moved back to row 20. This seemed like "bait and switch" to us, left us angry and disappointed."

It took us over an hour to locate that had happened. We waited at the distribution point. We got one Piecebut not the other. After all we’re taken from the belt we went in search and found it."

No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After working very hard to get my bag of o White Plains that evening, supervisor Jill hung out an hour past her shift ended to get it on the last transport to my hotel. The transport blew herself by ft and never showed up or called the o say he wasn't coming back! I got my bag on he next morning just in tim for my event! I also was not credited my frequent flyer miles. Some glitch in the system. Overall I must rate my experience as a one star simply because the pilots got us there safely."

Cons: "Boarding by zones causes passengers to have to stand longer while waiting to board, inconveniences them by having passengers seated in window and middle seats often arrive after the passenger in the aisle seat, and slows down the entire process because passengers settling into the front part of the plane frequently board and stow luggage while those seated in the back queue up behind them. Compared to boarding by row, the entire process is now one lengthy mess."

I'll pay $2000 extra to avoid legs where they are flying. Food - flushable. Don't offer vegetarian food if you can't prepare it. I'll carry some Taco Bell. Horrendous. Service excellent, courteous people and prompt attention."

Cons: "The flight got delayed and we were told it was "basically cancelled" so we got on a different flight out for the morning but were told we couldn't get a hotel voucher because we volunteered to get off the flight. Very disappointed, will never fly united again. The flight ended up getting cancelled 5 minutes after we "volunteered" to get a different flight too. Luckily we were able to get onto a different airline who helped us out. United dropped the ball big time."

It was a long process but I made it and really appreciated all the work the agent on the phone did for me. When I arrived at the airport they had my resvervation but no ticket... luckily we worked it out"

Cons: "That a bunch of travelers including myself missed our connecting flight in Chicago after united chamged our arrival gate but didn't have any crew to man the jet way. We sat for 20 mins right in front of our gate. From 1 pm to 10 on my flight to Asheville from Chicago was delayed many many times waiting for our airplane to arrive. Upsetting that we missed our connection due to United's poor planning, they didn't hold our connecting flight for us but we had to wait all night for other flights."

Pros: "Nothing about 9 HOURS in an Airport is great! I walked from where I landed coming from Calgary, to terminal 2 Gate F 17 because that was where the flight to Lexington was to leave from. Then I got notice it was leaving from terminal 1 Gate B 24 so (I'm sure I walked a mile there) to get there. Waited for a number of hours checked my phone and found the departure was back again at terminal 1 Gate F 17!?!?! So I walked another mile back to where I started. At no point was I offered a drink or meal voucher for the 9 hour delay/inconvenience in my flight to Lexington ky. Suffice to say that I will NEVER go on any flight if I have to go back through this airport. I also have horrible knees, which all the walking did not help."
Cons: "I would like to say that as a person with a disability, there is not any support for help getting around. They have plenty of for lack of a better term "golf carts"; but no one utilizing them. Not that I am a world traveler; but this airport could take more than a page from Calgary international in terms of support to those with disabilities. I will NEVER and I do mean NEVER go through something like this again. I expected to be home in Lexington at 5:00pm and did NOT arrive until midnight.??!! This is in my opinion quite unacceptable! Pros: "The long haul from Latvia to Oregon is usually a pain but the SAS employees worked to make it as positive as possible. Everything was great from the seats and accommodation to the food and staff."

Cons: "Our plane was United, so I don't think this reflects on Lufthansa, but rather United. The plane entertainment was extremely outdated and there was not enough room in the overhead containers for everyone's carry-ons. This problem made boarding a very long and aggrevating process."

Then we needed fuel to be removed. And we waited. And waited. Then we got back on board, got to the runway, and the RIGHT ENGINE didn't start. So they tried to repair it, couldn't (didn't want to fly on that old, broken plane anyway at this point), and we had our flight canceled. All told, I spent 10+ hours at Logan Airport. It was an absolute disaster."

Cons: "The worst thing is that they schedule a CRJ-70 on this flight. This would be tolerable if the obvious alternative was a turboprop, as if Montreal were a small town, like Flin Flon. But it is not; it is a large and important city, and it stinks that the demand is so low that airlines must use small aircraft on these routes. Is it because Canadian taxes are so high on airlines that fares in turn must be high and not stimulate demand? I can't think of any other reason connecting cities this size would be on crappy little aircraft rather than on at least an A320/737 family aircraft. The problem is that there is not enough room in the overhead bins to fit rollaboards, even small ones like mine. So they have to "gate check" the bag, which does not always reappear at the gate at the destination. Less bad than the choice of aircraft was the fact that after we pushed back, they couldn't get an engine started, so they cancelled the flight and reaccommodated us on a later flight."
