It’s got the tightest seats of any airline - my knees were smashed for 3 hours - absolutely awful.

We departed late but made up most of the time in flight. Our ticket was pure economy, so it wasn’t anything fancy; however, I heard that we arrived in Madrid at the exact same time that First Class passengers arrived! Overall, our experience was similar to what we had on other American Airlines transatlantic flights - good value at a reasonable price. We were even able to get our carry-on baggage onto the plane without needing to gate check it.

Flight was delayed 3 hours and 15 minutes. The delay caused me to miss my tour group due to arriving late.

They cancelled the flight)(they said bad weather but many other flights took off) and made us wait 5 hours in line to figure out what to do. We ended up making a new flight the next day on another airlines...I hope they honor giving us our money back

A 13 hour flight with no food apart from what they offered from a menu you had to pay for. On top of that, there were no blankets, so during the flight when the cabin temperature dropped, everyone was very cold. Neither of these things were highlighted at the time of booking. This is the worst long-haul flight I’ve ever encountered.

A friendlier and more helpful crew would have been much better.

Yeah you have time and can sit around for a while to be okay for you but if you planned on getting connected flights I recommend not to fly with this Airline it's best they for flying out of the country

it would good to have at least something to drink...

This was definitely a no frills airline. The flight crew didn’t even offer us water, or anything to purchase. Even the coffee wasn’t free.

This trip was a total nightmare, got to the airport in Wed March 8th after confirming all flights, only to be told by American Airlines that we are not confirmed on the flight. We met a pretty rude and unhelpful AA check in agent by the name of Ali. American said it was not their problem, contact Kayak/Chatdeal and sort out your issue.Chatdeal said all flights were confirmed and it is the airlines fault. So it went, we were kicked between American, Kayak and Iberia spending hrs on the phone- all said it is not their fault.Spent 9 hrs in the airport on Wed 15th trying to sort out. Luckily, we met a really nice AA agent Shawnna G who went way beyond the call of.duty to help us out. We were put the next day on Thurs 16th from DfW to San Paulo Brazil the onto Madrid!! Imagine that..10000 miles and 20hrs of travelling to get to Madrid from Dallas!! Our trip took 3 days to get there ..Wed 8th Thurs 9th and Fri 10th.Got there on Sat 11th, so lost 2 days of our vacation and a lot of emotional and physical stress on our 2 kids travelling with us.
