Cons: "The plane showed wear and tear. We paid for delta+ premium economy and an exit row. The seating map online was misleading and we ended up next to the bathroom. The exit row food tray was broken and was hard to even sit a good tray on. The emergency exit door isn’t well insulated and we were absolutely freezing cold the entire flight. The seats were hard and uncomfortable. The food was not good for international travel. Overall I was very disappointed in this flight. I travel the world and on long hauls the planes need to be cleaned well and seats in working order."

At first the reading lights were not working and they got those reset at least. One choice of food was not available anymore once they got to our seats."

Even with headphones on, this child's crying persisted to pierce the ears of every passenger within 5 rows of it."

So needless to say I did not get to Ottawa and had to purchase a hotel room in Newark. United is telling me I may not get on another flight until tomorrow night. I am very disappointed."

Cons: "Lufthansa and United computer systems don't talk to one another. We had a leg of our journey from United. We could not purchase seats on the Lufthansa flights and could not even check in; therefore we ended up with seats that were not comfortable for us. Lufthansa messed up on our meals despite it being 'confirmed' (we checked with the service desk in Frankfurt). The in flight movies were ok; the touch screens are not sensitive enough and take lots of processing time."
Pros: "The marvel of flying. Hurling through the air in a metal tubeZ amazing. We got there safe and on time. That’s what I liked about United. Oh and there was a CSR that was helpful in changing to an earlier flight."

Like sitting on a plastic frame with a piece of fake leather over it. Entertainment was awful. Oh wait, non existent since it was an “out of country” flight so there was no access to movies (that you had to PAY for). Otherwise you got to watch Matthew Perry in some taxi game show over and over and over and over on a monitor in your face that couldn’t be shut off. United is my last choice in airlines. But we did get to the destination safe and on time."

When I got off the plane and saw that I did not have a gate assignment, one of the crew pulled out their phone, opened an app, and based on my flight number, told me what my gate was and where to go for the tram.
