Also, in regard to myself, I was sitting in an Exit Row and the flight attendant came over to ask unless individually if we were willing and able to handle our responsibilities. Before each of us was ready to answer he said OK, turned around and left. What would have happened if we had a problem and someone in the Exit Rows had a concern?"

When I asked the person at the desk what gate I was to board at, he looked up the information as if I was asking him for the access code Chase's bank vault. He didn't even write it down even thought he had a pen in his hand. Apparently, at customers, we are not suppose to get this information and it's a burden on the employees to give it. Again the flight was late and while I know it was due to weather, we were seated in the plane and sat at the gate for more than an hour. Apparently, we were not cleared to be given an update. Once again, the speakers at the seat didn't work. Apparently, this is a constant problem with JetBlue"

Cons: "When I booked my trip, I picked out seats but when I checked in, there was no seat on my boarding pass. So when I went to the gate they had my name on the top of the list and gave me a new boarding pass with a seat. When I got to that seat, someone was already sitting in that seat and when I looked at the boarding pass, it wasn't even my name that was on it. The stewardess found me another seat in row 24. Then when the tv did not work the whole flight. On top of that there was a screaming child most of the flight, which of course I saw not the fault of anyone. Needless to say I'm happy to be home"

She proceeded to laugh for the next 20 minutes repeating that the woman was helpless. I was disgusted by the flight attendant's behavior and attitude."

Pros: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Desk agent guaranteed baggage delivery within 24 hours. 4 days and 3 airports later, my bag reached my hotel. Fly Air France instead. The food is better and they won't lose your luggage."

It was better than I expected being a budget airline. Seats were comfortable, the flight attendants were nice, and the pilots had a smooth take off and a gentle landing.

Then she made an announcement saying there was a delay due to an international flight that landed in Dallas. They needed to change the crew, clean up and do security check. This was an experience that I have never had to go through. This was inconvenient for not only myself but the people who were picking me up from the airport in Dallas. The seats are way too tight. No leg room nor room between the person next to you."

There was no urgency in finding my bag and it has been nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. 4 days after my flight and we still have no bag. We had to buy all new clothes, toiletry items and luggage while on our trip. Thankfully we had enough funds to do so or else we would have had to wear the same clothes for 4 days! The flights were late both ways. The overall experience was absolutely horrible."

Not much was really done to attempt to suggest to keep him quiet and seated, so I was unimpressed with the staff in that aspect, as it is truly unsafe for him to be running around if we hit a patch of random turbulance he could fall and get hurt. I bumped myself up to 1st class on both flights for $280 total and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, this was a great airline that seemed to actually care about the people on the plane as opposed to other 1st class experiences I have had where people try to get the most out of you for the least amount of effort. Sky Country took the time to make me feel like I was worth it and that made all the difference. Would 100% recommend."

After about an hour they announce they are re-boarding the original plane, takes another 45 minutes to board the plane, then we are told two separate issues caused this lengthy delay one was a filter in the bathroom and the other was a thermostat... seems like very basic standard maintenance issues that could have been avoided with routine checks. We were offered zero compensation, the trip took over 6 hours in all to fly from Philadelphia PA to Boston MA; a trip I could have driven in less time. I continue to have issues with American Airlines and "mechanical" delays, the last flight i was on From Charlotte to Baltimore was delayed an hour due to a strap in the cargo area. I don't understand the logic behind the decisions made to hold the full plane over 5 hours instead of taking a 45 minute flight, but I will say the crew was very apologetic and handled the situation well."

The check-in process couldn't have been worse. Besides they have no customer service to speak of, I wasn't able to purchase a 2nd checked bag prior to the trip, the app just wouldn't let me no matter what. I spent over an hour on hold waiting for a rep who wasn't able to help me. At the airport we politely asked the rep to help since we were unable. She flatly refused to do anything. When we asked to speak to a supervisor she said she was one of the most senior people there and if "We're still not happy she can give me a number to call where I can wait on hold for over 2 hours to be told the same thing I'm telling you now." Absolutely atrocious. First and definitely LAST time flying Allegiant.

The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

Cons: "I say somewhat cheap, because by the time they ala carte everything, it's not so cheap anymore. As in no longer cheap enough to justify the bare bones service. The flight attendants are basically candy salespeople. I typically need help putting things in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant actually told me it wasn't her job. That indeed may be the airline's bad policy, but she also thought her way of expressing it was appropriate, which it is not. That has to come straight from the top. Also, what kinda janky airline doesn't serve complementary water. Probably the biggest deal though was that my flight was delayed for 2 hours both ways due to a maintenance issue. I know air travel is fairly safe, but given the track record of both Allegiant and Airbus, I was a little worried during the flights. Even though this particular route is convenient for me, I'm going to avoid Allegiant."
