Cons: "Delta flies a lot of the CRJ planes, even on relatively longer trips. Traveling first class, the seats are a little wider than in coach and have a little more leg room, but calling it "first class" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's more like what coach used to be before the days of the flying sardine cans."

Pros: "I have never seen a gate attendant call each person by name as she scanned their boarding passes! At Delta I felt welcomed by every employee. Even the pilots greeted the passengers as they exited. All the other airlines just want my money, they want to cram me into smaller and smaller spaces and want me to sit there and shut up so they don't have to interact with me. I will fly Delta every chance I get, even if I have to pay more money."

Cons: "I always hate to hear erroneous announcements. I don't need to know why I need to keep my seatbelt on; just to do it and MAYBE how long I'll need to do it. You don't need to alert me when you're turning the seat belt sign off. There's a "ding" and the light goes off. You could wake me up, or my wife or my sleeping child. It's like they like to hear themselves talk."

We also did not get the designated overhead space we paid for and had to put our bags under the seat in front of us. A bit disappointing to pay $240 extra and not get what we paid for."

Pros: "Whereas our flight out from Raleigh to JFK where everything that could possibly go wrong did(late crew, boarding computer problem, mechanical issues with the plane, gate problems, missed connection) this last leg of our trip back was flawless. Everything was on time, and the crew was friendly and attentive. We had exit row seats so the leg room for this 90 minute flight was great compared to our first part (London-Atlanta)"

Cons: "The seats were so tight that even average size people had trouble getting their seats back a little. Somehow kids were placed in exit rows and seat exchanges had to be made. They ended up in my row. One piece of my luggage showed it was available at the conveyor but couldn't be found. It delayed our long day and was frustrating to think it was missing. No distinction where Delta has it's gates in Mexico City."

Cons: "Original flight was cancelled because the crew was a no-show. Had to be re-routed through Atlanta and wait on standby for a connecting flight to my final destination. I normally make a point to take window seats because it's the only comfortable option for me. Because I was cammed into the remaining seats on the plane, I was stuck in middle seats for both legs of my flight and forced to squish my shoulders in (even in the 'comfort plus' seats). Now my back hurts for it."

Cons: "I remember reading that Aeroflot in Russia has better customer service than United Air Lines. Well, it was on full display today on our flight from LAX to Kona repleat with the veteran battle ax barking orders at passengers; “The Bathroom is by the blue curtaaaaaaiiiins!!!!!’ Poor victim seemed utterly humiliated. Seating is cramped, seats narrow and unsupportive and the old 757’s (c. 1997) entertainment system is ancient...the touch screens seemed unresponsive, but were in fact just slow...as 5-7 seconds would elapse between touching the screen and the command being implemented. A full re-boot was ordered about 30-45 minutes into the flight. As expected, there were some bumps in the air, but we welcommed them because it required the crew to sit down, freeing us of their ultra passive agressiveness."

I do like to fly, but it seems to be increasingly difficult to adhere to the rules properly."
Cons: "I was in line to board with group 4 and the woman in front of me had a large duffle bag, a purse, and 3 small grocery bags. The gate agent let her through, but told her to consolidate her bags. I had one carry on and one purse and was forced to gate check my bag, only to find out I would have to go to baggage claim to pick it up. If the woman in front of me was forced to adhere to the rules, I would likely have fit my bag into an overhead. UNFAIR."

Instead of cancelling just the first leg of our flight, they cancelled the return trip as well, and then tried to charge us the difference because we were "booking at the last minute". United really is the worst airline, and we will never fly with them again."

Would have preferred to have been given a more definitive timeline rather than continual 10-15 minute late notices. In any event it was a comfortable flight with professional staff."

After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"

Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."
