Food was awful and made my friend sick."

But for 9 hours...not good. The short hop down from ATL to MCO after was a blessed relief. Virgin, you have got to think a little more about your passengers asses. Also, having flown with just about every major transatlantic operator, including previous trips with Virgin, the knee room was not good. If you stretched out under the seat in front you were ok but draw your knees up... I wore short trousers for comfort and have sore points on my knees where they rubbed against the material of the chair in front."

I had to stay the night in Mexico City because it was the last flight leaving that night, and I had to purchase a new flight to Puerto Escondido."

The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling."

Pros: "Crew was amazing , one patient was getting sick while flight and always to flight stewards where always outside bathroom to help her. And crew was still able to service whole plane of 200 passengers."

It's the 2nd Time Delta has done this to me in the space of 2 weeks and it's absolute Idiocy. Gouging you loyal customers like this is NOT how you do business."

Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Cons: "Flight was delayed twice, and the flight was very bumpy and the pilot really had a bad landing."

Cons: "The man in the aisle seat was so obese he took room from the middle seat, which caused that person to lean into my seat. I spent three hours leaning to the right against the wall. If the airlines are going to make the seats smaller, they need to make arrangements for people who don’t fit in the seats. Entertainment didn’t work."

Pros: "Being able to pick your seat ahead of time, comfortable leather seats, snacks, on-board entertainment and free carry on make it worth paying a little extra over the other budget airlines."
Cons: "Constant delays. Maybe it has more to do with O'Hare itself than AA."

Cons: "Having to check our carry ons. We noticed another passenger had placed two carry ons in the overhead. If others are doing that, it forces others to check their carryons."

Cons: "Checking in, the counter agent first told us we would need a visa to go to the USA. We are American citizens. Then she insisted that we buy checked bag allowance even though our tickets already included checked bags. We had already flown the 1st leg with checked baggage, why would we purchase tickets with no baggage allowance coming home?! The stroller we gate checked was left at the end of the oversized baggage carousel because of the ground crew not wanting to unload gate checked items. I will never EVER fly an AA codeshare flight."

Cons: "More than 3 hour delay, entertainment system audio did not function and the flight path was set to Palm Beach instead of Orange County."

It's really unacceptable today to have everyone forced to watch the same movie in the ceiling, forgot about pausing for toilet breaks. This one they showed one movie and then we were forced to endure snippets and NBC shows that I can't imagine anyone watching. What happened to the second movie? They supposedly had entertainment that you could watch on your phone or tablet, but it was only tv shows as well?!"

Pros: "The AA flight attendant staff served good food and enough snacks and beverages to make me feel full on my 11 hour flight. The selection of movies and music was very diverse. And tge flight was an overall enjoyable experience."

Cons: "Trying to make any changes to the booking or check in was horrible. Because this was booked through kayak, then through an agent, then ultimately an Iberia booking on a British Airways / American flight, it took about 5 rounds of phonecalls being passed to another company or another department to get anything done. Sure the flight was cheap, but 6 hours of phone calls to get anything done is unacceptable. The plane used for this flight is ancient. Very tired seating, and no seatback entertainment. One children's film shown on the central TV screen followed by old sitcoms....For a transatlintic flight, this is really poor."

Cons: "Briish Airways does not fly to JFK from Edinburgh. I paid for a flight that apparently did not exist. I had to purchase another flight from another airline on top of the flight that I booked with Kayak. I was supposed to fly to my original airport, but I had to fly to a tiny little airport upstate and pay for a bus to get me back to NYC. I doubt I'll see any of that money I lost in the initial transaction..."

Pros: "I paid extra for the bulkhead seats for the leg room, and it was worth it. In general, it was an easy flight."

Cons: "They didn't send our luggage leaving Gatwick so it was never on the plane to NYC. We got our luggage 2 days later with no form of compensatory damages to our trip. It was an American airlines plane not British airways. I don't know if I will ever fly out of Gatwick or use British airways again."

Cons: "Upon boarding the aircraft, the attendant at the gate told me to check the size of my carryon bag against the test dimensions, which I did. My bag fit but I had to press the side in slightly to make it fit. She said it had to slide in without me pressing on it and proceeded to make me remove items from the bag in order to board the plane. I walked down the ramp with my extra pair of shoes and a book in my hands. As a result, I had to place my bag far from my seat due to the added time. My bag easily fit in the overhead compartment with room to spare and my being made an example was a completely pointless exercise."

Pros: "Staff was honest. Pilot and ground representative kept us updated."
Cons: "Delay while we waited for a crew from Denver and nobody cleaned the plane while they waited. Instead the crew arrives quite late to find a dirty plane. While the plane was being cleaned our Co-pilot was reassigned. We waited on the plane while they scouted up a different co-pilot. This caused another delay. Staff did the best they could but the organizational incompetence was not lost on the passengers."

Cons: "I didn't receive an email to check into my flight for Alaskian airline/American Airlines, and when I tried to check in online from my confirmed ticket order the website wouldn't let me check in. When searching where to go at dallas ft.worth (DFW) airport to check in for our alaskian airlines flight the website sold us to go to terminal E 18 where they are, but when we arrived we were in fact flying out of a completely different terminal A, not having enough time to check our bags and missing the flight."

Cons: "Our flight was so late. I actually missed the original time. Ran thought TSA, sprinted to the gate and then... waited for slightly over an eternity. But honestly, the great part of AA is the super small seats, really whi fits in these seads. Thank you. I'm 4-5."

Pros: "As I was sitting there waiting to board the plane I started to have anxiety. Watching how many people lined up to get on the plane made me a little nervous. I even thought about renting a car and driving from Dallas to OC California. I waited until i was almost the last person to board. What a pleasant surprise. I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"
Cons: "Same as above answer. Boarding the back of the plane first makes so much more sense! I'm totally sure you all have your reasons for doing it the way you do since you have been doing this thing for years now, I would just do it different."

Cons: "Connecting flight was cancelled so we automatically got out on the next flight. Our stop over went from 2h to over 7h. Staff at checkin were very unhelpful. They told us to go to the website to request a refund and wouldn't offer us any flight upgrades. We got on the flight and people were told not to sit in the unoccupied enconomy plus seats unless they paid for them. Pretty poor that considering there were at least 2 rows of seats available they are so tight they can't even be bothered to compensate us in a way that won't effect their bottom line. We completed the return request only to be told that refunds are not offered on schedule changes. Again pretty shoddy customer service and shows that all they are about is your money. The breakfast we had was disgusting. The melted cheese looked like someone had vomited onto my tray. On waiting for our connecting flight there was an old lady who was dumped at a gate on a wheel chair. They person then left without telling them what was happening. We could see she was anxious about not knowing what was happening. My wife went to the United help desk to ask for information for the lady's flight and was told she should just check the information board and dismissed. Not sure how an old lady who can't walk is meant to do this (this was explained to them). If United had bothered to make some kind of effort to be at least helpful in any stage with refunding / upgrading us and being helpful to an old lady maybe this review would be different. Ultimately all they care about is your money and will deliver a shockingly bad customer service wherever they can get away with it. I WONT be flying United again. I will pay more for another airline."
