The front desk asked me to try other ways when I arrived LA to see what can be done. When I entered into the gate, your CS changed my flight to UA after I have presented my case. However, I had to pull the suitcase out from Alaska, paid another $25 to United and started the trip all over again. All the while, your crews expected me (an alien from Asia) that I should have known every thing get it through, or to claim my suitcase charges. I am really disappointed for the lack of understanding. To you, it may be something happened so common everyday. To me, I was totally lost to handle this."

We stood in line for 3 hours to get a refund. (we decided to go with another airline, some people had been stranded for a week!) One sad items was a soldier had been on deployment for TWO years and was trying to get home. He had been stranded since Friday (it was now Monday). The agent just shrugged and said get in line. Frontier should have booked him on another airline! Finally, a lady in line heard of his plight and bought him a ticket right there on the spot! (on another airline of course). SHAME ON FRONTIER. We will NOT fly them again! #NEVERFLYFRONTIER"

Cons: "Check in personnel didn't arrive until and hour before the flight was scheduled to take off which left myself and every other passenger waiting in line for over an hour. The new seats look very nice, but are just hard plastic covered in faux leather leaving passengers with an uncomfortable experience. They did not recline, which wouldn't have been a problem if the tray tables weren't the size of an iPad mini. The seats were so close together you couldn't even rest forward onto the tiny tray tables without hitting your head on the persons seat in front of you. I am by no means a large person at only 5' 3" so I can only imagine how awful it was for tall people! For a three hour plane ride it would be better to go with any other company."

I paid an extra $9.00 for a window seat in the back of the plane and it would've been $20.00 for the same seat closer to the front. They also charge for bags whether they are carry on or checked. My first flight, a kid in front of me threw up and it went under his seat and all inside of my bag. I spent the entire flight cleaning puke off of my computer and my clothes. The flight attendant just told me there were paper towels in the lavatory. When we finally arrived at 11pm we sat in the runway for 30-45 minutes until our gate was clear. Then we finally pulled up and it took another 15-20 mins for them to attach the bridge for us to get off the plane."

Cons: "When I got to the gate, I was told that I had to pay $45 for my carry on luggage, which I found it to be somewhat insulting (if I had agreed to check-in the luggage it would have been 'cheaper' only $40). This was the first time I had ever been asked to pay for my carry-on luggage, and the basis for me to never fly Frontier ever again. They claim that it was because of the ticket I purchased through a third party, and I told them that they should not advertise any tickets where you intend to charge people for their carry-on luggage. To make things worse, it appears that Frontier does not participate with the TSA pre-check program, and even though I had my global entry card with me, the officer at TSA pre-check would not allow me through this line because of the airline I was flying with - Never again!!! I suspect that on my way back I'll be forced to pay another $45 for my carry-on luggage, which I despise."

Pros: "My wife needed assistance(wheelchair) and the Frontier staff were excellent getting her to the plane. The crew helped out whenever we needed assistance, allowing us to board ahead of others so we did not hold up the process. Flight departed & arrived on time which was critical as sitting on the plane was not comfortable for someone with a back injury; any delay would have seemed like an eternity."
Cons: "Didn't try the food though the options seemed good. Was unaware their seats do not recline. This was a bigger deal to the wife with her back problem. There was no entertainment to rate which is not necessarily a bad thing if it keeps the price down."

Cons: "On my trip to Atlanta, I paid 52.00 for my luggage to ride because I was told i needed a ticket after telling the representative my luggage fit inside the sample boxes. After paying I get to the flight gate and i see people with luggage bigger than mine. I asked how much did it cost to bring it on and they told me it is free for one piece of luggage. So on my way back to Tampa I didn't mention anything about a bag and it was free. I feel the representative should have told me it was free to take it on."

Cons: "I was told that I could bring my carry-on on the plane for no extra fee and when I arrived at the airport I was told that my bag would have to be an extra $69. If Spirit has a different policy for carry-on than other airlines they should let that be known in advance. I even reached out and called the airline in advance because this was my first time flying Spirit and I wanted to make sure everything would be set."

Ours were off by a few inches too big. I didnt know until I was boarding that my bag was too big along with my wife and had to pay an extra $200 to have the bags checked. $200!!!!!!!!!! They said they made an announcement but between phone calls and bathroom i missed it. Who would have thought that our bags would not fit. On the return flight I went on-line to pay for the same baggage and it cost me $50 each or another $100$300 total which was more that the flight cost was. A complete rip-off. Cons: "I was flying with Spirit Airways from Boston to Atlanta on the 5th of August 2016. Unfortunately, I missed the flight due to my flight with Delta Airways being delayed in Amsterdam. I had booked a return flight with Spirit Airways for the 25th August 2016. I understood, of course, that this was not the fault of Spiirt Airways that I missed the outbound flight. I went to the check in desk, explained that I had been delayed in Amsterdam and could they possibly get me on the next outbound flight. As it turned out there was not another flight available for two days. So I explained to the staff in Boston, that I would try and get a flight to Atlanta with another Airline. Which I was able to do for the same evening. However, I made sure to tell the Spirit Staff that I would be traveling on the return flight, and the lady confirmed that this was fine. My express words were, I know that I have missed the flight, and thats OK but I am checking in now and want it confirmed the my return flight is still booked and i am checked in for it. The lady said Yes , that will be no problem! She also gave me the contact number for customer service, so that I could phone them and see if there way anything I could do.I was informed this was a free number and when I phoned it, I spoke to somebody in India, whom I could not understand, a few minutes later my twenty credit was gone, so obviously NOT a free number! I found another Airline to take me to Atlanta. So I was happy in the knowledge that my return flight with Spirit was fine and I was checked in for it. However this turned out not to be true! I received an email from Kayak a couple of days later, to say that , as had not checked in, both flights had been cancelled. Of course, I was furious, I telephoned Kayak to see if there was anything I could do but they told me I must get in contact directly with Spirit, which I did. It was, once again, the customer service number, in India! They told me I would have to go to the counter in Boston and ask why my return flight was cancelled. At this time I am in Atlanta and asked them, did they realize how far Atlanta was from Boston!! I also asked to speak to a Superviser, at which point I was cut off! I then telephoned again and asked was it the normal procedure to cancel both the outbound and return flight, if the outbound flight was missed. I did not get an answer to this question except to say they did not know, again I asked to speak to a Superviser to be told no. I had checked in, as far as I knew, the return flight had been paid for, so I do not understand or accept that they had any right to cancel my return flight. I also had no choice but to rebook my flight with Spirit because I had to get my connecting flight from Boston on the same day. This cost me $211 plus $50 for my check in bag. Given that I had already confirmed with Spirit, this is a total disgrace and I have been treated very badly by them. I fly regularly and have never encountered anything like this"

Pros: "I think Spirit is trying to give its clients a good fare when flying. The problem is they nickel and dime you to death for everything. What does a can of soda cost? Maybe 15 or 25 cents when you buy it in bulk. But they charge $3.50 or so for a can of soda and to top it off its not even that cold. There planes are very uncomfortable, you can't recline back an inch, they're fixed in one position. Also there flights are always delayed, so if you have to be somewhere in a hurry, forget it your not going to make it. However that being said I do have to say that there crew was very polite and attentive, even humorous. If they could find a way to include certain things in the booking price I believe they would be more successful. I personally will not fly with them again. I prefer to pay a little extra and get more for my money in the long run. That's just my two cents!"
