The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

When I ask for a blanket one of the stewardesses said that AA would no longer have blankets in flight which I prove it wrong when I saw in the flight Mai-SDQ blanquets all over the cabin. The soliton they gave me was that they would ask the crew to raise the temp in the cabin, I had to make the request three times and I had to tell the stewardess that if not raising the temperature in the cabin I could have gone into an emergency hypothermia crisis. I had to take another shirt from my carry-on to put it over my shirt to warm me up."

Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."

I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

Pros: "This new ticket where you have basic economy and pay for everything is ridiculous. You can't take a high end airlines and make it a basic economy people don't like that. Is this the worse version of Spirit airlines?"
Cons: "Just feels Cheap. Baggage claim took forever"
Cons: "The seats and headrests in particular were most uncomfortable for a 4+ hour flight. I was most uncomfortable on the flight and ended up with a pain in the neck!"
Pros: "We got there on time!"
Cons: "In flight entertainment worked fine at first but then, halfway through my movie, it just kept stopping and trying to buffer. I tried to reboot my device, reset internet connections, restart the app, but nothing worked. Even though I had 40 minutes left in the movie and 90 minutes left on my flight, I couldn't finish the movie."
Cons: "Delayed getting on our way I think because they were late getting in and had to do all the plane checking. Captain said safety checks. Seat space felt tight and I am short."
Cons: "One of the crew members was late to arrive, so boarding was delayed. However, The gate crew was amazing, very communicative and apologetic. During the flight the attendants seemed very agitated, I think a smile would go along way to improve the attitude of everyone. I also work with the public, I get that it is challenging, but I do believe that the simple gesture of a smile sets the tone."

Pros: "When it was over."
Cons: "Had to wait, probably 5 minutes, while holding my bags right outside the plane for an employee to do something. The attendants were unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and not available. Crammed 3 of us in the seat before emergency exit row seats, about 1" from my knee to back of seat in front of me and a 90 degree angle back, although there were many, many rows with only 1 person in them. One woman had enough room to stretch out and sleep across all 3 seats. Our seats didn't recline but the row in front of us did which made it even more cramped. Tried to ask attendant to move but couldn't find one for over an hour. Tried to ask an attendant but he just walked by me. Pushed call button and he says oh you want to move? There's a seat over here, before I could see where, he walked away. Moved myself to a row with 1 other person who was angry she now had to share "her" 3 seats. She typed angrily all flight and kept putting her legs and personal items as close to me as possible. She used both trays to hold her laptop and spread herself out so I'd be uncomfortable. Could've been prevented if the attendant had talked to the woman first then moved me. Had to wait when getting my drink because the attendant turned to help others, 4 times, after she'd already asked me what I wanted. She got food for someone while I waited. She made change for someone while I waited. She walked away to do something for someone while I waited. She served someone else while I waited. Asked attendant where the electric plug in was and she said the plane didn't have one, I said the sticker says the plane does, she walked away. Worst experience ever. Won't fly this airline again because of this experience."
Cons: "Will NEVER fly United again. Going home to advise EVERYONE I know not to fly United. They straight suck. Starving people on long flights with hot food for a third of the plane?!?!?! Then telling me I'm wrong for expecting a meal on an almost 7 hour flight?!?!?! &, even better, the reason my son & I starved all morning, day , & evening because EVERY single flight (all 3) were late, one so much so that we almost missed the connecting flight. Wow, is all I can say. After I still have United a chance after assaulting that poor man. Beyond highly disappointed."
Cons: "Everything the customer service reps were very rude and condescending. United is awful I'm not sure how they are still in business. The rep refused to help me because she was getting off in 10 mins."

Cons: "The air hosts were in friendly and didn't say goodbye. The cabin was improperly pressurized and hurt my ears going up and landing. My ear is still popping."

Cons: "Customer service at united was rude on all ends phone and counter. Plane was delayed five different times and delayed for both flights. still at airport actually waiting on plane to take off when it was suppose to at 834 pm now it's 1142 pm so three hours later. I don't know who is running united airlines but it's a joke and should be shut down. There is so many people upset right now, horrible airlines."

Cons: "Seats on United seem to be even smaller than other carriers. I'm 5'5'' and 110 lbs and I was still quite cramped."

Cons: "People in group 5 don't have a chance to get their carry in bags in the over head storage."
Pros: "Typical flight. Crew was fine, nothing great or memorable. Free movies on devices are nice - although it would be nice for gate agents to mention it prior to boarding so guests without cell service could download the app on the airports wireless prior to boarding if they didn't already have it."
Pros: "My other passengers in First Class. Your crew was also very kind and well mannered."
Cons: "I spent over 150 for an upgrade for a red eye for a flight I already spent over 500. Your crew lacked attention in service and one specific crew member (male) woke me up twice due to the loudness of his voice. Disappointed in the quality for the amount spent."
Cons: "Had to sprint through the airport to make a connection because the flight was delayed and then went to a gate in the international terminal which was far across the airport from my connection."
Pros: "overall the trip was pleasant, i dont like my 1 carryon be selected to not go in the overhead when groups like couples or families get to take on a few - but i did receive my carryon in a timely fashion considering we were not let off board after 15 min of landing"
Cons: "The worst part was the new seats are the smallest ever. I could not sit without my knees jammed into the seat in front of me, and on both legs, Ithe seats were narrow that the people next to me and I were overlapping shoulders - that was a first. Unless its flights in the future are significantly advantageous, United's losing my business. It's not worth saving a few bucks to me to be so uncomfortable."
