Cons: If I had at least boarded the flight I could have given feedback. But I didn't get in! I spent 6 hours at the airport waiting for my flight, with check in done and missed the flight. And on my ticket I didn't have the gate number or the terminal, the goalkeeper said he would let me know when the flight was leaving, the hours passed and I didn't hear him calling me. until near the departure time I went to ask the employee and he said that the flight had left a long time ago and that the entrance was on the opposite side of where I was and they did not warn me ... now I'm here at the airport with no place to sleep, waiting for my other flight with a connection to Brasilia that leaves 6 am where I will wait for almost 12 hours to be able to get home. remembering that my flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá was 3 hours long and I will have to wait for almost 24 hours. A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok.Read more about GOL

Cons: food, entertainment
Pros: the plane
Cons: checkin experience, app and web terrible
Pros: Entertainment options
Cons: Huge delay....
Cons: I had two USB chargers at my seat, but neither worked :(
Pros: O lanche foi muito bom
Cons: Resolver os constantes atrasos neste vôo
Pros: All great n crew very helpful
Cons: Gol app is terrible and buggy.
Pros: Aircraft was comfortable
Cons: Checkin crew had very little knowledge of laws and almost avoided my nephew to board the plane even with proper documentation. Flight was delayed more than an hour. Poor communication to explain why
Pros: Buen servicio en gral.
Cons: Si. Podría haber entretenimiento a bordo.
Pros: Airport attendant spoke English well and it was easy to understand instructions and updates. Courteous and patient.
Cons: nothing crosses my mind now.
Pros: Pessoas super simpáticas e muito atenciosas. Espaço gigante para as pernas na fileira de emergência.
Cons: Opções de alimentos a bordo.
Pros: On time
Pros: Quick flight
Cons: The boarding procedure is a nightmare. 3 gates positioned right next to each other with no one knowing which line they are in and people shoving to get through to another gate. Very stressful and disorganized
Pros: The trip is very fast
Cons: I sleep in few time
Cons: Horrible experience. With a CONFIRMED seat with GOL airlines- and checking in two hours before flight- I was told flight was oversold and they did not have ANY seats on the plane. REBOOKED on flight from different airport two hours away! Awful!!!!!
Cons: The flight delayed A LOT.
Cons: All good
Pros: Cabin crew amazing
Pros: The check in and punctuality of boarding, take off and arrival was excellent. The flight was enjoyable. I would travel again.
Cons: I didn’t like the snacks.
Cons: Anyone who flies the route NVT-GRU knows two things. The departure and landing times are unreliable and they always....always over sell seats. Navegantes (NVT) is a very small airport but connects to so many international flights. The city and many of the neighboring towns have become vacation hotspots. I personally fly this route twice a month these days So many bad things happen because of their poor on-time results and overbooking. The worst of which is missing your connections. This was the third time in 2 months that I’ve missed my connection in São Paulo to NYC. This time I purposely took an earlier flight 6:40pm so I would have no chance to miss my 11pm flight to New York. Then a 2 hour and 20 minute delay! My God ...really? Another missed flight. GOL you CAN do BETTER! .
Pros: V confusing to find the gate - signs not updated and total madness when we got there as many flights delayed
Cons: Delayed flight. Missed my appointment.
Pros: No horário... bagagens já estavam na esteira quando chegamos
Pros: Everything about today’s flight hit the right notes: wonderful lounge, premium boarding line, no one in the middle seat, overhead bin space was very good, Wifi to watch movies and a holder for my iPhone while watching the movie, quick and efficient food and drink service, etc.
Cons: There were no negatives for me on this flight.
Pros: Good landing
Cons: Messed up when looking for a seat ..many people from front door n many people from back door
Pros: - Comfortable seat and clean aircraft at a reasonable price & time - On-time
Cons: - Kayak displayed that 1 checked bag was included in fare when it was not
Cons: Delayed Flight
Cons: Delayed Flight
Pros: Las instalaciones en perfecto estado todo en funcionamiento
Cons: Los sobrecargo un poco antipáticos deberían de colocar más aeromozas
Cons: Due to weather conditions, the flight was delayed an hour and a half.
Cons: The flight was delayed hours for a maintenance issue, then it was delayed further because they had to take passenger baggage off the plane from those that got tired of waiting and took another flight.
Pros: As a wheelchair user I was treated well from the ticket agents, escorts, gate agents and flight crew.
Cons: Not one thing.
Pros: Thanks! I enjoyed my flight.
Cons: Not so much Enlish speaking :-/
Pros: Knowing that GOL is an LCC, I was not expecting much. However, after realizing that every seat had the legroom typical of a Extra Comfort seat on NA carriers, I soon became won over. Regular recline functionality (missing on some of the larger LCCs worldwide) and a free drink and snack (also missing on many LCCs), TOO was truly a relaxing flight. 10/10. Would definitely fly again.
Cons: I mean, there was no entertainment available (to my knowledge) but there was allegedly Wi-Fi (I didn't try).
Cons: Space on the seats, between the seats.
Pros: Didn’t have to pay more for the exit row!!!
Pros: nice, clean plane; nice check-in experience
Cons: Crammed bus to the airplane
Pros: Espaço entre assentos
Cons: Não tinha entretenimento
Pros: We lived in Brazil 4years ago. The airport experience was miserable. Today I lived the dream. I booked online without a cpf onKayak. Got to the airport early...honored my Delta status seamlessly. Changed my flight easily. No arguments over baggage fees and delta status. GOL rocked it today!
Pros: The crew. They are very careful.
Cons: They charge me by my baby stroller! They lost part of my bag. Never more I will travel by GOL.
Pros: On time departure
Cons: Flight time was changed quite substantially from the time when I bought the ticket, therefore I simply did not take the trip.
Pros: Space between seats
Cons: Lack of food options
Cons: Voo atrasado Sujeira no aviao (chiclete no chão)
Pros: Crew members were helpful
Cons: Food was bad and didn't taste fresh. No tea to drink either. Boarding times were usually late but arrival times were as expected. There's no entertainment at all in the planes. No screens, no movies, no nothing.
Pros: legroom, boarding process.
Cons: snacks were kinda sparce
Cons: It sure what could have been better other than all bulkhead seats are terrible for taller people.
Pros: I was able to return home after my flight had been cancelled.
Cons: While rebooking my flight from Phoenix the rebooking agent been yelling at me to pull my mask back after I was trying to answer her questions while trying talk over all the other customers. I feel that it was unnecessary and over done.
Cons: I was in the only full row on the plane. The flight attendant waited until we couldn’t move to offer us to move to empty rows. By the time we were able to move, the other people in the row were sleeping. I wanted to stretch but couldn’t. Not a great way to start 2021.
Cons: First time wearing face mask all the time. It was okay.
Cons: When I arrived to check in at 5:48am for my 6:20am flight, I was treated very poorly. The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked.
Pros: The staff at seatac airport were condescending and not helpful...traveling with a service dog and made to pay the pet fee and talked about me where I can over hearnthen in a manner that embarassed me
Cons: A little discouraged that AA doesn’t offer a TV in the headrest for 1st class customers
Pros: Absolutely positively nothing.
Cons: Everything literally!! Plane down for maintenance, rebooked four times and not willing to spend 48 hours in an airport due to incompetence. Never flying American Airlines. Will use Delta from now on.
Pros: Good crew, appeared to work we’ll together.
Cons: Could not figure out how to plug in ac for charging devices. Should have some educational label somewhere on that.
Pros: Crew was efficient and pleasant making for a good experience.
Pros: Nothing. I missed a family members funeral and no one at the airline cares. I ended up staying home because the flight was delayed 8 hours.
Cons: Customer service didn't even try to find connecting flights and informed us that there were no other flights going to Phoenix. Which was a lie. I will never book with American again.
Pros: Seats were comfortable. Did not cramp anywhere entire flight. Great air vent control.
Cons: Boarding was weird. Many Passengers in the last rows put their bags up by row 20 so that made boarding and disembarking slower and harder as we had to go forward extra rows to use the back empty bins and then fight against traffic to get back to our seats. Passing bags up when leaving or waiting to
Pros: The internet and movies
Cons: The AC was not turned up it was very hot and even after I asked nothing was done.
Pros: Crew was amazing. Seats were comfo
Pros: Seats in first class were comfortable. It was nice to get a cocktail right away.
Cons: A real snack would have been nice after boarding
Pros: Attentive crew. Traveling with 2 seniors in their 80’s. Thank you.
Cons: Nothing. Perfect.
Pros: Great crew. Falafel meal was delish.
Cons: My seat was broken and didn’t recline. I booked first class bc of a bad back, so I count on that. Salad was wilted and gross. Plane didn’t have plug ins for phone! Entertainment system didn’t work well- movie kept buffering. Sky texting wouldn’t work either.
Pros: The trip went as scheduled and arrived on time. The service was good making it a pleasant experience overall.
Cons: As with most airlines, the seating is cramped.
Cons: Missed the flight
Pros: One of the few non-stop flights between Seattle and Philadelphia. Timing is perfect if you can sleep on a red-eye flight. Fairly empty flight. enough empty seats to move and stretch out.
Cons: No entertainment center built-in to the seats. On board WiFi can be used to access movies and other entertainment on the your own device but make sure your battery is charged and you have an external battery also since the seats don't have power. I tried to sleep but it is not easy for me to fall sleep when the seat back reclines only 3 inches so I didn't have luck taking a nap. Conclusion: I am not taking this flight any more. I will go back to taking will switch back to flying Delta even though there are no direct flights.
Pros: They were rude and disrespectful.
Cons: They were rude and disrespectful.
Pros: Even though looked like I had selected a seat assignment they were not booked. On first leg of trip had to wait until a couple agreed to be bought off their seats before we could be boarded. Very misleading.
Cons: Boarding could be improved if they would start boarding from the back of the plane to the front after boarding 1st class and Priority this way people would not block the passage when putting their luggage in the top compartments. The crew was not very helpful because I almost went into a hypothermia condition because the air in the cabin was extremely cold. When I ask for a blanket one of the stewardesses said that AA would no longer have blankets in flight which I prove it wrong when I saw in the flight Mai-SDQ blanquets all over the cabin. The soliton they gave me was that they would ask the crew to raise the temp in the cabin, I had to make the request three times and I had to tell the stewardess that if not raising the temperature in the cabin I could have gone into an emergency hypothermia crisis. I had to take another shirt from my carry-on to put it over my shirt to warm me up.
Cons: Flights had to be changed due to a delay on first flight that would make it impossible to take the connecting flight. My route and airlines were completely changed, which caused a big delay in original arrival time. In addition to that, my luggage did not make it and I'm still waiting to find out where my suitcases are. Very disappointed.
Pros: On time and the staff was great
Cons: I didn’t take my outbound so they cancelled my return flight without notifying me. I had to pay $200 to buy my seat back. American is about as bad as spirit..
Pros: For this flight I was seated in first class (I scheduled it this way; it wasn't due to a last minute upgrade) and the flight attendant was very personable and attentive :-) Service was wonderful and the meal was great! Of course, the flight attendant made sure to keep our beverages topped off as needed. It was a wonderful experience
Cons: The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience.
Pros: Our pilot was great. Kept us informed, was pleasant and got us in early. I appreciated the extra information he provided regarding expected turbulance and arrival updates.
Cons: There wasn't individual entertainment unless i used my own device.
Pros: The one flight attendant that realized how shitty of a situation they placed me in.
Cons: American Airlines made me take all clothes out of carry-on, took my brand new AWAY bags, and made me stuff my clothes and other belongings into 5 plastic bags. All because they said my bag was illegal to fly on plane (whether it was checked in or not). Turns out they didn’t have to do that. What a crock.
Cons: For the planes first flight of the day the crew deicing process caused a 75 minute delay. On return flight at 10:15 pmwe waited on the runway for over 30 minutes because the ground crew wasn’t ready. There were no other planes in or out anytime near our landing
Pros: seats comfy, seemed like a newer plane, crew was lovely.
Cons: usual complaints about domestic flights - not having free headphones and not having free snacks.
Pros: The flights were good. The cancellation was handled poorly.
Cons: AA’s flight was canceled from Seattle to JFK. The flight was then rescheduled to Newark and then Orly. The main problem is that the change didn’t include the infant on lap ticket and ended up with 2 hours in Newark trying to rectify the situation.
Cons: Luggage allowance policy was not clear, so that they can try to charge passengers extra fee. Airline blames on one another when it comes to connecting flight if we purchased a one stop flight
Pros: Boarding was okay, flight was on time departing and arriving.
Cons: No USB chargers in the seats for SEA-MIA segment of trip, but they had it for short hour flight from MIA-SJU? Long haul flights need the USB outlets!!
Pros: It was on time. Flight crew did a very good job and were very nice. The Meal was excellent as was the coffee. Overall, service was excellent.
Cons: First Class needs a total redo as the seats were not as nice as on newer planes. Rest room in First Class is way too small and cramped. WiFi did not work well, and there were no individual screens on the backs of the seats. The First Class on this plane was really bad and needs some rethinking by American.
Pros: I would like if for my return from Paris to Chicago, Chicago Seattle I would be greeted by the personal and offered to flight first class without extra charge to compensate for the bad experience on my way going in. Thank you
Cons: I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks
Cons: I really can't believe that this flight didn't have in headrest screens or USB power to keep you devices charged. This was a 6 hour flight across the US. If they don't provide entertainment, at least let the people charge their devices.
Pros: Food was good, crew was friendly, cordial which is not good at all on flights by United Airlines, Delta American Airlines and Air Canada. Flight from Miami-Sao Paulo was nice and no too long as when I fly through Toronto by Air Canada or through Chicago by USA airlines.
Cons: They cancelled my flight in the middle of the night and rebooked for 3 hours later really strapping me for time at my destination
Cons: I paid for a non-stop from Seattle to Philadelphia. they cancelled it and only had options that dragged out the trip, caused an extra day of lost work. There was no attempt or offer to ameliorate the inconvenience, or refund the cost -- even an upgrade would have been appreciated. just here's what we have, take it or leave it. I am through with American
Cons: We were told the overhead was full, so we had to check our bags, but once we boarded there were complete compartments empty. I suspect they were just trying to depart earlier.
Pros: Customer Service at SEA was great. we were checking bags directly to Madrid and they were very helpful
Cons: I had paid for a Bulk head seat Row 7. But since we had a in Cabin pet, my wife was moved down to Row 18 and a much smaller seat. I need to get a refund for the price I paid.
Cons: Gate agent said there was a maintenance problem that just needed maintenance to sign off. Over heard maintenance work while boarding that could not get message on computer of problem. Pushed back and sat on tarmac for 10-20 minutes as pilot said they worked through maintenance issue.
Pros: The employee working the desk in Seattle was great. Long lines to check in and she took the time to assign us seats next to each other. Loved the bonus of the seats being in an exit row.
Cons: Flight changed with no notification.
Cons: Your plane needs outlets to charge electronics. Unless your gonna show movies on your flights, ppl need a way to entertain themselves for the flight. If they burn through all their battery power, it's an inconvenience to try to charge it in the airport when they land. All of the outlet Chargers in Chicago, Seattle and Philly were broke as well. The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this.
Pros: Very efficient boarding, comfortable coach seats, good crew
Cons: No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me.
Cons: My flight was changed 3 times-- always pick a window seat and was changed to aisle seat. The attitude at the ticket counter was "you're lucky to get any seat", flight was overbooked, the boarding process and deplaning were absurd with all the people bringing on way too much carry on luggage !!! It takes almost 30 min to get off the plane!!
Pros: My window seat
Cons: I wasn't able to check in to my flight 24 hours prior to my flight on my AA app and or website. Also wasn't able to check in at kiosk at airport therefore had to wait in line to check in with a clerk which slowed my whole trip mood down.
Pros: They switched my flight promptly when I missed my connection.
Cons: I missed my connection for no apparent reasons. When asked for compensation they said there was nothing they could do and cited reasons Regarding the boarding and deboarding of a special needs passenger.
Pros: Everyone was nice and helped with any questions I had
Cons: Logging into the internet from the iPad
Pros: The crew was nice. When I finally arrived in Denver, Marlin in customer service was the only saving grace for United for me. When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company.
Cons: The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people.
Pros: All the flights were on time.
Cons: If the flight left on time - I missed my connection
Pros: Nice, normal flight.
Cons: Pilots not there on time, arrived perhaps 30 minutes late, didn’t say why.
Pros: Crew onboard was fine
Cons: Flight delay with min amount of explanation
Pros: I had the front seat so nice and spacious spot
Cons: Didn't love the wait on the bus to get to the planeb but I guess that is unavoidable
Pros: Nothing, and I’m a very agreeable person.... Always
Cons: Every person employed by United is either overworked until the point of jadedness is issued with their first paycheck, or they get paid in Monopoly money. There were flight delays, and really I was good with that, but when I approached a staff member, he literally said “what do you want?!” Before I even opened my mouth. The phone lines are operated by someone in a foreign country. And after the flight caused me an overnight layover, they offer you a measly discount voucher for a place to stay. I can only hope that someone out there is getting better treatment than the poor people I saw on this flight, or at any united desk I attempted to get help from.
Pros: The boarding was quick and the flight was on time. The crew was courteous.
Cons: I selected economy comfort in the kayak app, but when I called about my boarding pass, kayak said they only sell basic economy. What did I buy? UAL only sells a limited selection of overpriced food. There is no music and you have to pay to see the flight map.
Cons: We missed the whole vacation due to United flt. 599 being late into SFO. We missed the Zurich flight by 7 minutes due to a mechanical issue (overhead bin lid would not stay closed.) United customer service was very poor and after 16 hrs. at SO without resolution on flights and schedule, we just came back home. If Siss Air could have waited 10 minutes for 12 or more passengers, we would have been fine. I don't know if United communicated with them or not. This was a disaster!
Pros: Plane was clean, and looked newly refurbished
Cons: Apparently my android OS is to new to use the in flight entertainment system.
Cons: My only real issue was that, upon checking in online, I was informed that my boarding pass would be emailed to me. I don't believe it ever was. I checked all of my various email folders, including spam, and saw nothing.
Pros: Although I arrived a few minutes late, the check-in agent managed to get my bag on the flight. When I missed my flight, the agent quickly got me on another flight (with a competitor airline), with no additional charge.
Cons: The short (10 minute) boarding window contributed to me missing my flight (by a few minutes). Very annoying.
Pros: Gates for connecting were close and even with delay, I made it on time.
Cons: Flight delay, that made the short connection even shorter
Pros: They had blankets waiting on our seats for us, which was really nice!
Cons: The seats were horribly uncomfortable and hardly budged when "reclined". It made for a miserable red eye experience.
Pros: I know it’s out of the hands of the airline but we were delayed due to weather. Luckily they booked us on another flight but it was the next morning.
Cons: I know there are clauses saying that United does not have to do anything to accommodate you if it’s bad weather but we did not get anything for our inconvenience. Most airlines will seem to help you with hotels or food and whatnot if you had to be rebooked. We ended up booking a hotel through the Hotel Tonight for a great rate although it’s unrefundable. Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss.
Cons: My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it.
Pros: Luggage bag broken by baggage handlers
Cons: Luggage bag broken by baggage handlers
Cons: Delay in connecting flight from Seattle to Denver caused us to board our plane to Grand Rapids moments before the doors closed. Had we missed our flight, an unpaid work day would have incurred as we would not have arrived in Grand Rapids until the following afternoon.
Cons: The seats and headrests in particular were most uncomfortable for a 4+ hour flight. I was most uncomfortable on the flight and ended up with a pain in the neck!
Pros: On time.
Cons: New looking plane but the TVs behind all the chairs were locked without a credit card. The new chairs looked great until you sat in them. I'm 5'10" and my knees were already brushing up against the seatback in front of me. If you push the recline button on the armrest, the chair doesn't go back (of course it doesn't, the person's legs behind me are probably up against my chair anyway). Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable.
Pros: I liked the legroom of Economy Plus. The flight itself was good. Didn't buy any food.
Cons: We arrived late in Denver and had to sit at the gate and wait for the jetway person to arrive and connect the jetway to the plane. I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together.
Pros: More important than the trip home last Wednesday was the reason for the trip. We attended my granddaughter's wedding. Everything else was secondary. Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done.
Cons: Not much I don't like. They get us there That is the main thing. Sometimes when the plane stops after it has pulled away from the Jet Way, the pilot gives an explanation that I find unfulfilling, not enough details. I suppose if they explained more, other fliers would find the explanation too verbose. I can live with it. Again this is about all flights and airlines. Nothing stands out, such as, " this awful thing happened when we left San Francisco."
Pros: I liked the crew once we were on the plane
Cons: The plane was full and we were on basic economy. The folks at the gate were rude and unhelpful, at the United kiosk the personnel were openly hostile. Thank goodness the crew treated us with some decency and were very nice.
Pros: Flight was smooth and on time
Cons: The boarding gate attendants were rude and uncaring when we asked them to help us switch pre-assigned seats to ensure our two year old sat with us. While we might have understood better had they been empathetic, they were rude and uncaring and said when you book online you sign a waiver and they can not do anything about this. Wow. This was our flight back. Originally on the way to our destination we had used Delta and that customer service experience was completely different even though that flight was full too. Never flying United again as long as I can avoid it.
Cons: Delayed getting on our way I think because they were late getting in and had to do all the plane checking. Captain said safety checks. Seat space felt tight and I am short.
Cons: The fact that I was stranded in Colorado due to weather and they would not refund my ticket even though I had purchased insurance. They wouldn't even give me a credit. Will have to think twice about doing business through KAYAK and United from now on.
Cons: Will NEVER fly United again. Going home to advise EVERYONE I know not to fly United. They straight suck. Starving people on long flights with hot food for a third of the plane?!?!?! Then telling me I'm wrong for expecting a meal on an almost 7 hour flight?!?!?! &, even better, the reason my son & I starved all morning, day , & evening because EVERY single flight (all 3) were late, one so much so that we almost missed the connecting flight. Wow, is all I can say. After I still have United a chance after assaulting that poor man. Beyond highly disappointed.
Cons: My fiancé and I packed a suitcase together and it was 3lbs over the 50lb limit. They refused to let it slide and when we asked how much it would be if we left it they said it would cost us $100 for an oversized bag. We already paid the $25 so it makes no sense for it to cost $100 more. They were completely unreasonable and not helpful. Not to mention the flight was an hour late. Our flight on the way out was completely cancelled all together and no one bothered to tell either of us. Then they rerouted us on completely different flights! We had to basically throw a fit to get on the same flight, which ended up being 8 hours AFTER our original flight was supposed to leave. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never fly united again.
Pros: My lucky lucky butt
Cons: That I wasn't going to make my connecting flight because of delays which meant overnight in airport- they wouldn't put me in a hotel!! But I made my connecting flight.... Because it was suuuuuper delayed- no one's fault. So scratch that poor I'll give it 2 stars...
Pros: Barb M. was at the front desk at the United Lounge. She is an incredibly kind human being. I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness.
Cons: Every time I travel United, it is delayed. I don't understand why. In this situation the problem was the airline so I understand that is beyond what United controls.
Pros: The flight attendants were nice. Other than that, nothing.
Cons: Maybe it's because I haven't flown in a few years but it seems that the airlines are packing in as many seats as they can, without regard to the passengers who are shoved into tiny seats for 5+ hours without even being able to stretch their legs. We were in the last row where you can't even lean your seat back but the guy in front of me was just about in my lap the whole flight. Charging for in flight entertainment and meals also seems like the airlines care less for customer satisfaction than the money they can get from passangers. While boarding, we were stopped in first class because the flight attendant was in the aisle getting drinks for first class...Before all the passengers boarded. Also, why is every flight told they get one carry on plus a personal item when that isn't really the case? If the flight is full, apparently there is not enough room for each passanger to have a carry on so people who have delicate items packed in their carry ons have to surrender them and pray their precious vacation purchases aren't smashed when they get their luggage back. Quantity over quality.
Pros: Very nice and flexible people and boarding was easy. Smooth flight.
Cons: Very cramped tight seating and the stewardesses were a little lax. Also, the overhead speaker was not loud enough to hear if you're sitting by the window as I was. They have no control over turning it up and if there was something to do with safety I would be in trouble.
Cons: The flight was delayed three times once after boarding, It was five hours late
Cons: My flight was cancelled they never told me , and after I explained to them I bought this ticket two hours ago because my grandmother and uncle were dying and I needed to get there, they lied to me told me I would be on a different flight and still get there at the same time. Well my flight was not the same time it was three hours different and if I made it there like they promised the first time I would have been able to kiss my grandma one last time. She died a hour before I got there. And now I'm fighting with them for a refund.
Pros: The seats looked new.
Cons: United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever.
Pros: I am 5'2" and this was the least amount of personal space I hVe ever had...
Cons: Space issue!
Pros: My other passengers in First Class. Your crew was also very kind and well mannered.
Cons: I spent over 150 for an upgrade for a red eye for a flight I already spent over 500. Your crew lacked attention in service and one specific crew member (male) woke me up twice due to the loudness of his voice. Disappointed in the quality for the amount spent.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The fact that we had a connecting flight to minot from Denver. Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are.
Pros: The people I sat next to.
Cons: I missed my first flight because the plane left 15 min early. I was at the gate before the plane detached and the guy said I should be on the plane 15 min before and that he wasn't going to stop the plane from going. I had a business meeting that I was trying to get to so him doing this completely ruined my day and purpose for flying and spending $300 on a flight. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Once on my rescheduled flight the attendant made several comments about the fact that I had a pillow with me. If you don't know someone situation then you should make any comments at all. I had just finished a 5 day drive across country and unfortunately the pillow needed to get home with me. Not a single employee was kind welcoming or helpful. I will never fly with this airline again. I will be letting EVERYONE I speak to know about this experience and I plan on writing reviews wherever I can find.
Cons: My first flight from SEA was delayed an hour. MULTIPLES passengers missed their connecting flights even though the attendants at the counter claimed we would only be 5 minutes late into our gate and they were WRONG, so people missed their connections because of them.
Pros: Lots of leg rooms with United
Cons: Flight home had a long layover
Pros: The staff was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The flight was late but that was at no fault to the airline.
Cons: Your email stated that my departure gate for my connection was B87. It was actually B80. There were no message boards in that area of airport (commuter planes). I missed my flight because of it. Luckily there was a van shuttle that I was able to catch but the ride was 4 hours in the night and cost an additional 80.00. I would like Kayak to reimburse me the 80.00 I had to pay extra. Thank you
Pros: United airlines seems no better or worse than most major airlines today.
Cons: I am fed up with the herding mentality by most airlines. Since when did purchasing an economy seat mean you are not entitled to at least a modicum of comfort on a flight. The legroom provided now is no where near enough for any normal size human. Additionally it's still annoying to pay $25.00 for a single checked bag. I tried United after many years but will be returning to Southwest Airlines - in the long run it's less expensive. I realize nothing will change based on my opinion, regardless, it is more comfortable and dignified to take a Greyhound bus than to fly a major airline these days.
Pros: Seats were okay as far as comfort level
Cons: This flight was overbooked. I had to be back at work the next day, so I really needed to take it. The gate agents wouldn't tell me what was going on, only that the flight was overbooked and that they were "trying to get me a seat." I stood there while all of the groups boarded, waiting for my ticket. I was the last person given a ticket. By the time I finally got to board, all overhead space was taken, so I had to gate check my bag. And then someone had taken the seat I was given, so I had to ask him to move, and he started crying (child). He cried for 20 minutes, so that was fun. Also, this was a red eye - I really wanted to sleep, but right as I was dozing off, the flight attendants turned on the lights for drink service. Overall, just a really poor experience and very hard to sleep.
Pros: The slim seats are nice, but lack the wired head rests!
Cons: The overhead lights were SO bright that they were nearly blinding. Also, I was sitting behind the wing so it was so loud! Guess there's not much to be done about that on a small plane.
