There is consistently no communication/updated time slots in the app on when a flight will board when its delayed, which is the most frustrating as a consumer trying to understand if they need to get food now, or if there is actually a chance for them to eat during their layover. This keeps being my experience with delta and a potential reason to change airlines.

Long delays at both DCA and MSP; Crew did not keep us informed (or very little). Airplane was showing signs of heavy use (not up to Delta standards). Food options for Business Class have dropped in quality. After landing we sat on tarmac for maybe 25 minutes with no provided chance to use the bathroom and crew did not tell us what was going on or give an estimated time to expect to be at a gate.

Both of my flights to and from JFK experienced significant delays. Most notably, my first flight was delayed by six hours due to crew members being affected by delays on a previous flight. While I understand that disruptions can occur, Delta’s staffing and operational planning should include sufficient contingency measures to handle situations like this rather than placing the full burden of those delays on customers. Additionally, the $12 meal voucher offered as compensation was inadequate, particularly given the high cost of food and beverages at the airport. Considering the length of the delay and the substantial inconvenience caused, I believe more meaningful compensation would have been appropriate.

Although I know the Airlines cannot control the situation when there’s a ground stoppage, it would’ve been nicer if we would have had more up-to-date information clarity around the delays. Additionally, I think the delays also took a toll on the Cabin crew, particularly the lead flight attendant in first class. She was not very friendly when we boarded the plane for many of the passengers. Number one she refused to hang a garment bag in the front closet for a first class passenger, she was unwilling to dispose of an empty bottle in the trash as I was boarding (despite drinking a bottle of water herself and needing to disregard), and she was very combative with a passenger, who needed to access something from his bag that was Gate checked. Frankly, it was really unfortunate as I’ve never seen a flight attendant behave that way directly to the passengers, particularly when none of us had done anything wrong.

overall the crew onboarding and providing service during our flight was great; they were friendly and helpful. I said ok to the entertainment because there was none, but the crew explained why which was very helpful. I am a diabetic and the type of snacks are not diabetic friendly (full of carbs and sugar). However, I am always prepared because I know the catering is for the larger population.

While it wasn't the crew's fault, it was a frustrating flight. We sat on the runway for 2+ hours. Both of the flight attendants were excellent and did a great job checking on the passengers. The pilot did keep us informed about the wait. I appreciate the crew apologizing for LaGuardia airport's backup.

the flight got cancelled - few hours before the departure time - no time to change

This a short easy flight. No food or drink but that was not an issue since we were only in the air for 35 minutes.

The meal tray was not usable it was completely uneven

Like the fact that the boarding was expedited. But the delay and chaos around the onboarding was not appreciated.

Flight was 2.5 late. Maybe not United’s fault but late none the less. We were late as well on the first leg. WiFi quit working with an hour left.

Old 757 with poor entertainment system. United no longer partners with United for free text and email. O'Hara an absolute disaster! Limited gates clauses two hour delay. Unfortunately this appears to be the norm.

The flight to America was freezing. The overnight flight back to the UK was boiling hot and the cabin stank of toilet or occasionally perfume, even though I was several rows back from either bathroom. Food was tiny portions. Two small pieces of tough and dry beef in random gravy with pretend mashed potato raking up most of it. Very little veg. Salad was ok. Wooden cutlery broke within minutes of using. Lots of old films for entertainment. Some new ones. Generally a bit rubbish.

It was a good experience, unfortunately my checked baggages were come late and not arrived on time.

Very stressful to locate United Airline boarding area, delayed flight, changing boarding area again to another location with all tiredness 😩. But flying was fine.

Staff and flight attendants were very polite. Flight was smooth. My seat on the plane was a bit broken so it would not stay in upright position but it was fine for the most part.

Flight staff and all was fine. Food always sucks on planes so nothing new.

Why wasn't this flight departure scheduled eith another crew so that it could leave on time? When we arrived in Denver we had so little time between flights we had run to the connecting flight. We should received some credit for the inconvenience.

My flight was 3 hours late, which caused me to miss my connection in Denver. Further, this connecting flight was then Later canceled. This required me to stay another night an hour and a half away, and rent the rental car for an additional Night. I am still waiting for United Airlines to reimburse me for the inconvenience and Expense of having to extend my rental Car for An additional Day. Our experience with American Airlines was extremely disappointing and honestly made an already exhausting international journey much worse. After flying all the way from Melbourne and dealing with significant jet lag, the American Airlines experience at LAX was the last thing we needed. The terminal and boarding area felt very old and uncomfortable, with little to no air conditioning and only old fans running in the area. Boarding was also through outdoor stairs rather than a jet bridge, which felt especially inconvenient after such a long journey. Even though we were traveling First Class, the onboard experience was surprisingly poor. There were no meaningful snack options, no decent coffee available to order, and the aircraft was so small that there was barely enough overhead space for carry-on luggage. The staff experience was also disappointing and lacked the warmth or attentiveness we had experienced on our international flights. To make matters worse, the flight departed late, extending an already very long travel day. Overall, the combination of the outdated terminal, uncomfortable boarding process, limited First Class service, small aircraft, poor staff experience, and delay made this an extremely unpleasant final leg of our journey. It significantly worsened our exhaustion and jet lag rather than making the connection home easier. Unfortunately, this experience was bad enough that I do not plan to travel with American Airlines again in the future.

American airlines is always delayed in their flights. No access to wifi unless paid

Pilot main message was to "be nice to her crew". Crew only instructed passenger to "move out of the aisles" rather than helping passengers place their luggage. Some passengers needed to exit early to make their connections yet cleaning crews rushed onboard to make their way past rushing outgoing passengers. AA needs better protocols and better customer service for the price paid for trips.

Inflight wifi was awful. Couldn't connect for the first hour until they manually reset, and after that the connection kept dropping every five minutes. Their entertainment option streamed fine but normal browsing was unusable.

Did not know that they didn’t have screens for entertainment. I didn’t have headphones so I couldn’t watch anything on my phone.

Delayed couple hours due to airplane maintenance issues, we boarded and then asked to unboard, but cmon!! Can they do the whole maintenance prior to boarding?

No food. I paid over $1.000 for my ticket for nuts and espresso beans.

I was so hungry. No meals. Staff very nice. Seat arms armed too tight and didn’t go up. I was scheduled for First class, but was put on Standby, even though I made my reservation a while ago. Thank you.

I had a carry on and a personal bag. I put my personal item under my seat and on way to the seat I put my bag up. I usually close my eyes and rest as I was on call for last 36 hours. I heard very loud announcements that someone needs to identify their bag. Pretty sure it was not mine until the hostess pointed out my jacket details attached to the bag. I asked why she got my bag out. I got berated and did not want to create a scene. But this person needs to be talked to.

Other than being delayed 5.5 hours and having to get a hotel because I missed my connecting flight, it was an okay flight. No in-flight Wi-Fi or entertainment.
