I have flown with LOT several times and regret it every time; however, they are the only airline that offers the direct flights I need. Boarding was awful. I was alone with 3 children, including an infant, and we were forced to stand in buses packed like sardines. Then, for such a large flight, there was not even a gangway. I was expected to carry a baby, a carseat, and luggage by myself up the dangerous steps into the plane while the crew RUSHED me. The crew was very curt, cold, and inattentive. No one offered any assistance or sympathy to me alone with kids. There was no ventilation or AC in the plane.
My ONLY complaint with LOT was the lack of WiFi and the food in business class… still, I use them because they have great connections to Chicago and they fly the 787 - which I think is a great wide body jet. Well… now LOT has WiFi (good satellite speeds) and AMAZING food. LOT now is giving Turkish Airlines a big big run for the money. And they consistently have less expensive business class. I am a very happy customer!
Issue with boarding, group of passengers on a religious trip coming back to NYC kept trying to change seats, even standing when the plane was pushing back. Crew/Pilot kept very good composure, some passengers got aggravated and started venting out loud but this group created a serious security risk. Crew/Pilot should've been more stringent and called in security or remove them from the flight.
Amazing crew, delicious food and drink selection. 12hr felt more like a 4hrs. Comfortable beds. Can’t wait for the new business class cabin
Flying business class saves you. Once you get out of the terminal and onto the plane, it’s fine. The traffic at the gate is a horror. No organization at all. The fact that Business class is promised early boarding is a myth.

Horrible communication, flight boarded then we sat on plane for almost 5 hours as the runway was barely covered in snow with no plows in sight and the as we tried to taxi there was a major equipment failure due to poor push off technique causing all passengers to be taken off the flight to ultimately have the flight cancelled. There was barely any communication to passengers as to what was happening or what to do next to get placed on another flight. Arriving to my final destination a whole day later having to take a connecting flight through Lisbon to ultimately end up in New York instead of a direct flight as none available for the next day. Never flying LOT airlines again!
Smooth flight, excellent crew and good food. Not enough space; sitting are too small.
They broke my luggage. I’m pissed off about that. Service was slow and inconsistent.
If I had a chance to rate Turkish airline in negative I will definitely give -100. Worst non professional attitude of ground staff at Istanbul. If I was a owner of Turkish airline I would definitely fire all check-in staff who was on duty for this flight. Rude attitude to all customers. Non availability of food options. Chicken and fish option was finished within 8 rows and only pasta was available (seat rows 25- last row). Seat Front glove boxes were ripped and all stuff was dropping on floor. Flight crew was trying to pacify the customers but this is sole responsibility of the manager who arranged / booked the food for this flight. He must be removed from this position as he has no idea about his job. It was worst flight during my whole life. Never booking again on Turkish airline.
We liked the comfort and seats. The crew was not very friendly nor did they check on us to see if we needed anything. Had to ask for water several times
Nice, it was nice to have a free night's stay because our layover was over 18 hours.
Some of the best service I’ve ever seen on an international flight! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent with lots of choices and attention to detail. The seats are kind of old and narrow, but I have wide shoulders. The only area for improvement was making the cabin a little cooler.
It was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. It’s comfortable the flight attendant. Respect you anything you ask for they gave you except the water.

The staff at the boarding or the rudest uninformative and no English whatsoever they’re very rude as if they are envious of you travelling I don’t understand how could someone would be this rude and this out of touch and cold
You charged me for luggage although the airline does not- you charged me for seat when customers can pick their own seat at checkout in I travel to Europe slot and I will not use kayak again
The seats were extremely small. Boarding was not communicated correctly. It wasn’t a pleasant trip.
Loved the food. No wheelchair was provided in Sofia even though wheelchair assistance was confirmed by Turkish Airlines
Delayed too much. 1.5 hrs in the airport and another 1 hr in the runway. Got too late in the night. There was no proper food available.

For the Singapore to CA flight, nearly 16 hours long was miserable. We sat on the tarmac for one hour to burn fuel. The flight attendant girls were mean. They would yell at people who stood up to try to stretch their legs. One time the drinks came thru and the lady judged us and made a comment about how much sugar was in apple juice when we ordered it once. She was rude and inappropriate. The entire flight was frustrating. You'd think a long haul like that the airline would try to make you comfortable. I just don't understand why the ladies were so snappy. I have never experienced rude flight attendants like that. It was the longest flight I've had to sit on before. We were not impressed. Raymond on the other hand was amazing! By far the best person working that flight!
premium economy is expensive but worth it for the comfort and food on a long flight
Even though the incoming flight was delayed by 20 minutes they managed to get us to SFO 15 minutes early.
Boarding, time to take off, in flight offerings, and staff were all great. I recommend using UA for this short flight.

Food was terrible. Bamboo utensils are just not working out. A lot of plastic waste. Pillows and blankets were not good, a lot of static electricity. Crew did their job well.
Original Lufthansa flights were canceled and the alternative route that was offered required cab transfer in New York from JFK to Newark at my own expense. Who can refund these $218?

Expect Business Class seating to be 2 passengers per 3 coach seats, with center blocked. This is typical for flights within Europe on most airlines. Service was excellent!
They gave us chocolates twice (for whoever would like an extra chocolate - kids did!). I asked for an extra water, and I was given one. Crew was very friendly!
My mother is 87 years old and has knee problems. I have reserved a wheelchair indicating that she is immobile. For her it is very difficult to walk short distances. On arrival in Frankfurt, I was called via my mother's phone, by the female employee who had my mother in a wheelchair. She asked me how many and what color suitcases she has, which I explained. I was very surprised when 15 minutes later my mother walked out with her cane and balancing with great difficulties assisted by a young couple who were pushing her suitcase. Where was the wheelchair and the airport employee? I find this to be a disrespectful and abusive behavior of elderly people. It also raises the question of professional misconduct of the airport personnel in Frankfurt i.e. the female employee who abandoned an 87 year old immobile person by the luggage lane. I would like to inquire about the details i.e. name of that employee.
Crew was nicer to some people than others for no apparent reason. I had to get an older lady’s attention because she was too busy talking to passengers.
The flight was wonderful, especially the special assistance from airplane to airplane!
All flights cancelled with no way to reach the airline
The passenger next to me Goran Goranov (elderly man in his 70s on his way to visit his children and grandchildren in Washington, DC) dropped his neck support pillow while boarding - none of the ground crew helped him. He subsequently lost his green card somewhere on the plane or on his way to the other airplane. I hope he found it. I am worried about him. His son had requested an agent to wait for him at the gate - nobody was there when Mr. Goranov came out of the plane Sofia- Frankfurt. Other passengers had to help him get to the next gate for Washington, DC. I hope Mr. Goranov found his Green card and got safely to Washington, DC to spend time with his family during the holiday season.
