Members of the US Armed Forces, spouses, and children of members of the US Armed Forces;
Travelers with invitation of the USA government for a purpose related to the containment/mitigation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19);
Travelers with documents issued by the US Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, or US Department of State indicating that the traveler is exempt from the restriction;
B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
Starting on January 26, all travelers (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have an evidence of having contracted and recovered from COVID-19 prior to boarding the plane.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers returning to the US are advised to stay home as much as possible, avoid being around people and consider getting tested for COVID-19 after returning from travel and participated in higher risk activities.

The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."

Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight."

WiFi did not worked and the flight attendant said “they could not do anything” My film was interrupted twice (with a random film drubbed in Korean) and had to be reset manually Food was not great (and menues are identical on all delta flights - this was my 5th delta flight in the course of one week), the snack in particular (leek and mushroom cream soup-like mass wrapped in a tortilla - who ever thought of this? And one of the flight attendants was aloof and snappy."

Also, use of iPad for reading books wasn't allowed after the flight was established, I'm not sure who came up with these regulations but after spending a month on various flights in Asia, this was the only flight where I encountered these issues. Also, there was no vegetarian option in economy. Fortunatly, the staff brought a left over dinner from business class but I find it hard to believe that flight to the US would not have a vegetarian option."

Pros: "I got an upgrade to economy plus for the first time in my life. The supper was good, the service was efficient and the staff was courteous, one of the best flight crews that I’ve had with United flights, and the extra leg room was a great welcome."
Cons: "The snack and breakfast were left to be desired. Upon arrival to destination, we had to wait for one hour and ten minutes for a gate to be available in spite of clear weather. I made my connecting flight just in time. Many other passengers missed their connecting flights. In this situation, it would have been appreciated if there were staff to direct us to help speed up the process, but most passengers with connecting flights were running around like headless chickens and loosing patience as we were left to fend for ourselves. Once again, United managed to drop the ball."

Cons: "Purchased economy plus bundle. United employee closed gate in my face at ORD. United Club toilets were filthy and the worst of my problems was the ridiculous selection of teas. (Toilets outside of United Club much cleaner.) I had an economy plus seat, but this did not allow me to board early. So I boarded late and there was no seat in front of me. So I could not put my carry on in front of me. I asked if I could put my bag in top, but attendant told me that I had to ask the first class person in front of me for a favor and thank them for the favor. I did. But this was one of the more disgusting experiences that I have had on an airplane and I paid an extra 100 USD for the privilege of it."

I definitely saw a lot of people raising their hands...but the crew was there to help out. Kudos to them! And I was in Economy, which definitely doesn't offer much room for a man who's 6'1". However, overall, I was comfortable and not disappointed in my purchase at all--especially for a 10+hr flight."

The beverages took way to long. I could not use the Internet. You changed my flight time over and over and over I was supposed to leave at 5 I didn't leave until 10. I could not sleep because the flight attendants was wearing Christmas lights and they would wake me up and she keep bumping in to be be is she did not know how to walk in the isles. The cookie were stale. There was something in my cup so I could not drink my free drink. There's more. It was the worst flight I have ever been on."

Despite having several options of other ways home, they put me on a different airline which I don't care for. Cons: "My flight from Seoul to Portland, OR was cancelled. They made us wait on the plane for 5 hours trying to reboot the plane and could not let us off during it due to customs which is understandable. However the process of rebooking the flight was a nightmare. I waited in line to rebook for 4 hours. They flew me to Japan, then to Denver and then to Portland without any seat reservations. They didnt want to provide any customer service or upgrades. It took me 48 hours to get back home. The flight attendants were also rude on both legs home. All in all, I would never recommend United for international or domestic flights. They have poor customer service and their planes are always delayed."

I also hit my call button three times to ask for a pen to fill out customs sheet, but no one came after waiting 30 min. I assumed they were busy, so I got up and walked. But nope, they were all just hanging out in their area chatting and drinking. Ive never written a bad review, but in this case I almost even said something on my way out of the plane because it was just that bad!"
Cons: "Good -- but my flight from Pittsburgh to STL was not so good. My flight was delayed HOURS. I was supposed to get to my destination by 10pm. I did not get there until 1am. I was so so tired and cold sitting in the airport. I felt like we would never leave. That was definitely a disappointment."

Cons: "I purchased a return ticket from Port of Spain, Trinidad to Newark, NJ with United. I also purchased the insurance on this flight because it's good sense to be prepared. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the flight because of medical reasons and had to cancel. When I called United to purchase a new ticket, they were charging me a $200 rebooking fee plus a $30 processing fee. That's almost the price of the ticket! This is an absolutely horrible policy and very unfair. I had to rebook a new ticket with JetBlue which is 100% better, reasonable and understanding than United. Not to mention I lost the credit with united because with the rebooking and processing fee, it's almost the same price as the ticket. Because of this atrocious experience, United will never get my business again."

The worst part of the close to 7.5 hour delay was the fact that they would delay it every 30 minutes or less so you couldn't really go anywhere without potentially missing boarding. No one could provide updates as to why the flight was being delayed after 1pm."

And so when I missed my SAS connection because of my delayed United connecting flight, nobody cared and nobody can assure me I'll ever get reimbursed. United said called SAS. SAS said call the travel agency... and on and on it went."
