If you want a flight that treats you like a luggge or a cow or a non existent person. This is it. Where do I start?! The earplugs will give you a migraine. The movie/tv screen is unresponsive or has a 5 second delay time. Some functions on the tv screen do not work. Two small disgusting meals that even prisoners do not receive You cannot buy extra food or anything on your flight. Bathroom stinks. The flight was dirty to enter with. My first and last time using avianca This is a disaster.

Cons: "At take off water from the AC unit started Pouring my seat and my boyfriend’s seat (window and middle row 32 seats K and J). We sprung up to check to see if a water bottle from the overhead compartment was leaking. We were immediately yelled at by crew to sit down because it was take off. They didn’t see the water that was pouring down on us (from where they were seated) and other passengers were also trying to explain to crew members water was pouring down on us- luckily there was no one in the isle seat so we were able to shift one seat over. Otherwise we would have had to sit with water pouring down on us for 30 mon. The crew came over and said they could switch out the seat cushion. But that did nothing really because our clothes were totally soaked and it smelled bad from the water from the AC. Water also go on our electronics (headphones, iPad and phones) So it was a horrible 8 hour flight back to Los Angeles. Really sucks - I was a fan of Avianca - now I’m not impressed with how they maintain their planes or customer service for passengers who get soaked by their plane’s malfunction."

Cons: "My sister was not allowed to travel andI had to deplane with her. She had some wine in the VIP lounge and the crew decided they wiuld not take her ti Lima. She tried to appeal to the supervisor but it was imposible. She was not drunk. We believe that Avianca iverbookwd the flight and decide to use this as an excuse. Moreover, she has had bith knees operated in the last year and does mot move quickly and with difficulty. Any way, it was a disaster. Especially because we bought tge tickets whilw Avianca had its pilots in strike and we flew to Madrid on Iberua, because our origibal flight was cancelled."

Cons: "Service was non existent. Food was bad. They never come back and ask you if you want anything. Once in the air service doesn’t start for One hour"

Cons: "Avianca went on strike over a dispute with their pilots. The company waited until a few hours prior to the trip to cancel the trip (which was paid for with 3 months in advance). This was a transatlantic flight so we were forced to buy a vastly expensive ticket in another airline (due to the last minute urgency) which was not direct. The flight was for my 80 year old mother. Avianca forced us to a ridiculous process to refund the monies and only did so after many disputes over the phone and 30 days later. Will never use this airline again."

Cons: "I purchased this ticket for my CEO's associate. She had to fly economy, but we had purchased business class tickets. Myself, I don't know what happened. Supposedly, there was an issue in Spain."

Pros: "Boarding and exiting were fast. They also let me take on a carry on that was far too big to be considered a carry on. Lots of overhead space. Oh and they give you a blanket and pillow to use during the flight."

Cons: "The service and entertainment wasn't as good traveling on this airline to the US as it was traveling from the US. Barely any entertainment besides fold down small TVs for every 4 rows. The app they tell you to download was useless on this flight too."

More meals in flight - one meal is not enough for an 8hr flight

4 flights in 3 weeks between arrival and departure and all flights delayed about 5 to 6 hours ! What’s going on with AF ?! Not a low cost and you paid for that service !?!? Not anymore

Cons: "J’ai eu à payer un bagage supplémentaire sur internet à 160 euros. Mon compte a été débité et à l’aéroport de Dakar les agents au comptoir me disent qu’ils ne retrouvaient pas le payement du troisième bagage. J’ai été obligé de repayer le bagage comptant à 190€"

Cons: "boarding the flight on time instead of delaying it two times... and also putting the information at the flight information screen if I haven't gone to ask to the airport information stand I would never know the flight departure gate that was at the complete opposite side of the airport of were the initial flight was going to depart."

Cons: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Cons: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Cons: "After boarding began there was a backup after the gate en route to the plane. No explanation. The plane left an hour later than scheduled but seemed to arrive close to scheduled time."

Cons: "The “vegetarian” option was tuna which isn’t vegetarian and there was no vegetarian snack. With the hundreds of dietary and religious food restrictions you would think having a vegetarian option would be much more attainable.. They also didn’t make an announcement about our flight being late."

Cons: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Cons: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."

Cons: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Cons: "2 crew members, one named Terri were quite rude and short with us. I even heard her say she was ready to get off the flight. She also asked everyone around me if they liked their flight but did not ask me. She basically threw my coffee condiments at me and dismissed my concerns about the food. I was unsure if the fruit was expired and she quickly dismissed my question without any real explanation."

But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."
