I would rather be hours late getting home than feel like my life was possibly gambled with. I have my pilot's license so I am not unfamiliar with having to create an alternate flight plan when inclimate weather strikes. However, this was scary. My boyfriend quietly had a panic attack while we were on board. Would not fly Delta again because of this experience.

Pros: I don’t know what Delta could have done better on this two leg flight from Albuqueque to Miami via Atlanta . Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted.

It seemed that the gate crew was not budging. If my parents hadn’t had 2 seats together my daughter would have had to sit with a stranger. That’s not acceptable.

Pros: The plane was large enough to be comfortable and to moderate the effects of turbulence more than the smaller plane I was on to NYC. The flight attendant was very warm, fun and personable. I enjoyed being able to watch a movie on my phone through the go go app. It was a late flight so I appreciated the lights being turned off.

There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!

Cons: Basic small.plane. Nearly a 3 hours flight with an option to get something to drink only just before the decent to land. No audio option even if you had your own headset.

Cons: Boarding queue should be clearly marked. Seating needs work. It is ok when person in front of you is not reclined but too close if a petson is the least claustrophobic . I was fortunate that seat next to me was vacant, otherwise I would habe been in panic the entire flight.

Pros: The flight times and route are great - very early start but you are in Chania for lunchtime.
Cons: Seats felt cramped. Staff helpful but seemed disinterested, and rather embarrassingly didn't know the name of the arrival airport. The much hyped M&S food was very uninspiring - my cheese sandwich was soggy, bland and slightly chemical tasting. There isn't the option for online check in from Chania to Heathrow, so ignore the error message you get when you try. I'd probably fly this route again but only for convenience not quality.

Cons: Finally got it 20 mins before touch down but the cheese was still freezing cold! That's amazing! The crew would rather enjoying coffee and talking instead noticing the call for help. Coffee served with a loosing lid and ended up spilling out.
Pros: I loved everything about the trip. From the aircraft to the crew. Jaime (flight attendant) became like a friend on that trip. I will use British Airways for every flight to Europe going forward.
Pros: BA couldn't get our boarding passes to work no matter how many times they printed out new ones and we had to land into proper arrivals (though we were in transit in Heathrow) and tell five different groups of staff what was going on, even though it wasn't our problem but their computer glitch. One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it.

Cons: American Airlines cancelled this flight and then sent one of my two checked luggages to another flight to Newark from Chicago O'Hare and didn't even think to put me and the luggage I left behind on said flight? Either they should have left both and let me deal with it OR send me on a flight.

Cons: The air vents did work. So very hot on board. Timing of boarding and landing was great. Some turbulance during flight. Here's the kicker my first fight was delayed and my luggage was stuck in Dallas! My luggage did appear at my house in the middle of the night. Is that a good use of resources?

Cons: I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience.
Cons: Missed connection due to AA gate agent not holding for a couple of minutes for connecting passengers. Also was given incorrect connnecting gate number. Resulted in extra flight and 5 more hours of travel in overnight trip. Also had maintenance delay on earlier AA flight.
Pros: Finishing my flight, being able to say I'll never fly American again.
Cons: Without notice or warning, I was required to pay $200 for my dog, tranferring from Alaska Air, to ride in cargo for the 2nd leg of my trip. My fare was approx. $84. They would not accept cash, but made me spend another $5 on a "gift card," because I don't own credit cards. Rude, uncaring, marginally competent ground crew.

Pros: The seats on this little plane were large and comfy (which I never thought I'd say about a plane again). The crew was great, and the flight was hitchless.
Cons: We were delayed by an hour and a half. Not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, but it still puts a cramp in my day.
Cons: No baggage controls from seat 18 to 28 no bags would fit. As we exited all the front rows we're waiting to get there bags stored in back of planes overhead bins. That's just not right, especially when they charge us extra to take a bag for overhead bins storage.

Cons: The aircraft was downgraded, so there were 12 "overbooked" seats. The flight was delayed several times, with each new delay only being acknowledged after the previous departure time had already passed. Eventually, the flight was "delayed" to 3:15, but then it was bumped BACK to 2:45, so one woman ended up missing the flight because she had gone to the lounge based on the 3:15 departure. I accepted a voucher, but as the original flight kept getting delayed and I couldn't receive the voucher until the doors closed, I almost missed the flight I was rebooked on. If airlines would just communicate better (e.g., tell us there's a delay *before the departure time has passed*), people would be much more willing to deal with the hassle.
Cons: The AA station in Madison (MSN) is notoriously SLOW in downloading bags from the plane and getting them to the baggage claim. So far this flight ot is about 30 minutes from when the plane pulled into the gate and still no bags yet.

Pros: The flight from San Diego to Chicago went well. We left on time and arrived a little earlier than expected. I was worried about the weather delaying our flight once we go to Chicago but we encounter different problems. as I will explain next.
Cons: I asked the woman at the gate prior to boarding if there were electrical outlets on the plane. She looked it up and said, its an Airbus, yes they have outlets at each seat. I didn't worry too much about charging my devices at my layover because I knew I could charge them on the plane. When I got on it was clear that there was no outlets, no video on the backs of seats, no devices being handed out for purchase. Nothing. I'm definitely used to more updated planes, but I would have been ok without the misinformation. I ended up on a 4 hr flight bored out of my gourd—which could have been avoided.

Cons: I had booked an international flight with British Airways and it ended up being American Airlines. There was no notification of this change and I was not happy. I found AA to be subpar. The plane itself didn't have individual screens and my view was obstructed by other seats. The food was terrible and I got sick later, possibly from the bad airline food. Overall I got to my destination on time, but unhappy as I had chosen an airline and was forced to use another.
Cons: They forced me to check my bag in to baggage claim instead of at the gate. The airport staff were extremely rude and disrespectful.
Pros: Upgraded from Business to First on a transcend A321. Seats amazing, hard product is just superb on these planes. Crew good but a bit animatronic as always with AA.
