Unfortunately, Delta discriminated against me due to my service animal doing his job @ check in. This happened after they overbooked my first flight & delayed me by 8 hours during which I had a broken nose & concussion & was just trying to get home to see a doctor. I have reached out to Delta 4 or 5 times now to try to resolve these issues with no avail. I put my first complaint in online over a month ago. At this point in time, I was also a Silver Medallion member because I frequently fly with Delta & have their gold card as well. Didn’t matter. The lady checking me in at HHI Airport lied about, disrespected me & refused boarding to me due to my service dog doing his job. When I tried to explain further she cut me off & called the sheriff over to intimidate me to leave the airport in total. I would highly reconsider flying Delta if you travel with a service animal or have a disability. They will berate & ban you because of it.
I never took this flight and was never able to cancel it in Kayak’s system! I will never book through Kayak again. The flight was probably fine. Next time I will only book with the airline directly. I would caution anyone else to do the same.

The plane was immaculate, foot was gourmet (and A LOT of it!) and crew was professional, friendly and efficient. I will plan on scheduling all my international flights with Swiss Airlines when possible. We even flew on a shorter flight with them and still received a good sized meal."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 6 hours. No notification till early morning of flight. If known ahead of time would have stayed in France a day longer. Picked for security which was fine except stood in line for 1/2 hr. while those suppose to check us were sitting and laying around. Make me too late for helping my husband ( in a wheelchair) onto plane."
Cons: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Cons: "The gate was changed at the airport after my boarding pass was issued. I would never have known except that another passenger was looking for colleagues to let them know. And the flight number was also changed, and different than my printed boarding pass."

Pros: "Check-in Staff were friendly and efficient. Undersold flight, so they reseated several people to give them an adjacent vacant seat, so I got to sleep curled up. Great on an 9 hour early morning flight (7am check-in, up at 3:30). Boarding and flight staff were great too."

Cons: "Because of the short connection time the group of people including me made it to the gate a bit late. However the plane was still at the gate and did not leave for another 15 minutes. But they refused to take us on board saying t was too late, as a result: They sent us with the next flight to Chicago instead of Washington DC. My whole schedule was messed up as i had to fly through Chicago. My luggage was lost and i only received it 2 days later. Will file the complaint."
Cons: "Both of my flights either did not have a working faucet or water to wash your hands in the restroom. On my outbound flight, no water would come out of the faucet. On my return flight, there was a large sticky note on the faucet indicating that it dd not work and a few sani-wipes in a box in the sink. Very disappointing."

Cons: "The flight on the ticket stated it was a Swiss flight operated by United. When we arrived we asked which kiosk to check in and we were misinformed. It would be a time saver if the airlines would educate their employees on where the customer should check in."

Cons: "Checking in at Zurich airport was a long nightmare especially using the terminals to get boarding passes (there were three, one was broken, and other people had such a hard time using those two that there was a massive queue and I worried I would be late!). Other than that it was very lovely"

Cons: "Delays are never fun and unfortunately our flight was delayed, but more importantly the pre-boarding staff and crew were rediculously rude. They yelled at one lady bc she didn't speak English. They were stressed I am sure with delays and working the gate that has like 5 flights leaving at once, but they could be a bit better at their job by being polite to us the customers! They were so frazzled bc of what was going on that they acted like it was our fault, which of course it isn't! Additionally, our flight was overbooked by 6 people! And had standby of 4 and the staff kept announcing they were going to kick 6 people off and we wouldn't know until we were boarding and it was going to be by whoever paid the lowest price per ticket which btw is not the policy. The United policy says that it goes by class of ticket, which probably goes hand in hand, but hey really need to get thier staff on board with the policies. It makes you feel pretty crappy sitting there waiting to see if just bc you bought your ticket on a Tuesday at a good rate that you are not going to make it home to see your family! And the people making the announcements could be a bit more chipper also, we the customers didn't overbook the flight and we surely do not want to miss said flight so don't announce over PA system in threatening way bc United is trying to make more money by overbooking flights! This might never be read, but I hope that kayak can pass along this information to the Dullus United team to try and make the flights more enjoyable in the future"
