Cons: "My eyes were watering and my nose was itchy for the entire flight and I had to hold back sneezes and I think there was something in the air on the plane that was causing this to happen. I was double-masking and I do not have allergies. I wonder if it had to do with the chemicals used to disinfect the plane between flights? I was not very comfortable, to say the least. Everything else was great, though, but I don’t think I will be flying again anytime soon."

The entertainment system was very slow. The sound made cracking noises. The flight was over two hours late. In addition, we had to wait for our luggage over 40'. The luggage was wet."

Cons: "Pd for seat upgrade so I could have leg room as I injured piriformis. Gate agent wanted to seat 2 people together so took away my chosen seat. I explained but she lied and said person was in wheelchair. Got on board and took photos of young woman seated - not in wheelchair and was up walking. Agent lied and was nasty. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Should not be allowed to work with passengers. Fire her!"

Pros: "My flight was amazing---amazing in the fact that I had to be on top of flight status and was rudely spoken to by the sellers of the ticket. They almost cancelled my entire trip, even though I paid for it, because while at work I could not pick up the phone when they called me. This site is seriously a scam to buy your ticket from. I survived and was able to go---but I would never encourage anyone to buy through this site, unless you just really love living a nightmare. If you love nightmares, why not. Go ahead."

Cons: "Well my flight got delayed four separate times. I was stuck in LAX for 3 hours. So much that booked another flight with another airline for the following morning. I had to book a hotel nearby LAX just so I could somewhere to sleep for the night. My luggage made it to Chicago safely, but I didn’t at least not with American Airlines. It took them an hour to tell us that they reassigned the pilot to another flight, not only that when it was delayed the first initial time (40 minute delay) about ten minutes before we were supposed to board they tell us that the flight attendant crew is going to take 30 minutes to get to the gate. Not only but those poor airline service staff were completely unaware of all these changes! They had to find out from the passengers what was going on. Honestly I will never fly with American Airlines ever again!!!"

Families with babies, couples, even ours (though the kids are old enough for me not to be truly worried as some were). Somehow reservations seems to have messed up an entire flight. We gave up trying to fix it for fear they would make it worse. Then the woman at the gate tried to get folks to volunteer to give up their seats on an overbooked flight. But she was screaming at us. Unbelievably unpleasant to be yelled at over and over again and told we could lose our seats. The poor weather likely caused flights to be rerouted into PHL so our flight out to SFO ended up 1/3 empty. FABULOUS. But the gate experience was horrible and the legroom, had it been a full flight, was miserable. I'm in search of an airline with a humane approach."

They are trying to charge me $550 for this cancellation claiming they are not the ones who cancelled the reservation, and that I did. Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance."

Are flight from Boise sucked we we're 4 to 5 hours late due to the gas contamination in Boise and we weren't informed until a hour + after from the time our flight was suppose to go out. We weren't very happy. They new the night prior, so we could have came to the airport 3 hours later and been just fine. Which also made us miss the connecting flight"

I think most people would agree that when they purchase a boarding pass, it is assumed that it includes a seat. Having to pay extra for a seat was something I did not plan for and it was out of my budget, but I had no choice, because I had to get home somehow! I'll be going without groceries this week due to this unplanned expense."

A note said I had to check with customer service when I got to the airport. Which took 40 min to get to a rep. Once there they had trouble printing. Had to call corp - then finally a boarding pass with 25 min to get though TSA and to the gate. #stressfull"

Cons: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

I paid a full fare 1-way ticket to get out of PHX as they were not willing to allow me to fly standby or make a change to my existing ticket. Crappy airline service at the counter.
