I tried a month later but the problem was not solved. They foward any problems and inquiries to reservation center but calling the number won't find anyone to talk. Always they put me on hold for hours and never reached anyone. I have food allergy and tried to request for special meals but the option was not there under my eticket number as described in their website. They say the option may not be available because I purchased my ticket from 3rd party, not from JAL or it was code share flight. Very inconvenient. I had to skip 2 meals out of 3in leaving for Japan. I got very hungry at the end of the flight...."

The one that was suppose to fly out at 12:50 on 1/6/18 delayed until 17:25 (with acceptable communication the first delay) but then later delayed till 00:10 after I’ve already arrived at the airport early for the 17:25 departure. The screens with arrivals and departures posted that Checkin was open but there was no JAL staff to answer questions. Then getting an update “maybe” the 00:10 flight is cancelled? What is maybe cancelled and JALs phone messege still said the flight would depart at 00:10. So I go back to JFK because after all “maybe” isnt a definitive and according to all the direct JAL sources the flight is suppose to depart, I get to JFK the second time only to be given a printout saying the flight is cancelled with no rebooking, and to call for assistance. The same number is been calling for hours trying to get answers. coukdnt reschedules because I’m calling outside of business hours! I spent $200 on cab rides going back and forth to JFK to go nowhere, get no apology, no new flight booking, and no reimbursement for transportation."

My husband and I flight economy and usually when we fly long distance we will try to upgrade to comfort seating so legs aren't cramped (additional cost with Delta airlines) . With the Korean airlines the economy comfort seating was not an option but then actually not needed since the leg room was quite adequate. The blankets and other amenities for the flight were a nice touch with the blankets being very nice and cozy."

We thought arriving at the airport 2 and 1/2 hours prior to flight plenty of time for checking in but had to scramble to get to flight in time. With the menu - certainly was offered enough food but would like to see a vegetarian option as to meal."

I was even able to catch a few hours' of sleep thanks to the ample leg room and a seat that reclines more than 15 degrees. Finally, the fellow passengers (mostly Korean) were quiet and polite, which made the flight all the more delightful. This is definitely my goto choice for trips to Southeast Asia."

This procedure is Unjust and Humiliating for innocent passengers try to take a flight with absolutely nothing to hide."

Cons: "Had to run across Dubai airport to make my connection. Nobody at the gate to direct passengers to their short connections under 20 mins. Horrible experience. A person without the ability to run at full clip would not have made the connection. This was an international flight from Los Angeles - Bags did not make the connection either and had to wait two days for them. If you issue tickets with short connection times, it is your responsibility to make sure passengers will have adequate time to make it to their next gate. Or airline should provide some assistance to these passengers. Making them run is unacceptable."

Pros: "The quality of service on Turkish Airlines is really good. I appreciated the friendly and pleasant attitude of all the flight attendants that I came in contact with during the flight."
Cons: "It was such a long trip, a little more than 12 hours and my legs get really stiff after sitting for long periods of time. That is not the fault of the airline, just something I have to deal with after having both knee joints replaced."

Cons: "One of my lougage was left behind , I got after a week of stressing from one state to the other with lot of stress and unplanned expenditure I was not really sure whether it was their fault or air canada who charged me $225 for a little box mearnt to b a hand lougage. .. I was really pissed but on all the Turkish airline gave their best but the connecting flight air Canada has the worst services ever.... no food or drink was offered all through to Canada and their workers lack customer service"

Cons: "The flight attendants weren't personable on any of the flights. I'm 6 months pregnant and randomly get hungry. There are snacks like muffin available "anytime" On our long flight from Atlanta to Paris I pressed the button 3 times to see if I could get a muffin, but the attendant alert was turned off remotely and no one came to check on me. Thank God it wasn't some sort of emergency."

Too many people were changing seats with permission from the air hostesses . The air hostesses missed me 3 times for food and beverage . They passed right by me . They weren't organized at all. I had to call them to remind them to give me some food and drink. Plus when boarding they only announced it in Turkish and not English"

Pros: "I loved all of the on-board movies and TV shows! The food was very good for "airplane food" and the staff was friendly. They provide headphones, blankets, pillows, and more-- all for free! I definitely would recommend Turkish Airlines."
