Cons: When my husband retrieved his piece of luggage, it smelled terribly lie dog poop. We had to drive home with the windows all the way down because the stench was so bad and throw away the suitcase I had just bought because of the terrible smell. Just awful to come home to that!

Pros: The plane was nice and the entertainment on the flight was great! Flight crew very friendly.

Cons: Our plane was delayed multiple times and we were not provided an explanation as to why. For as expensive as this fare was the fact that Delta was at fault for the delay and did not offer any compensation for that delay is frustrating. A few extra free snacks doesn’t cut it.

Pros: 787 is a nice plane. I also like getting miles since I accumulate most miles with United. Not much else to boast about.

Cons: The outbound plane from Newark to Frankfurt was late by 1.5 hr because United could not figure out how to bring the plane (that was sitting in the middle of the airfield to the gate and then they realized that they need get catering supplies to feed the passengers and we were waiting for that too. The inbound flight from Frankfurt to Newark was late by 1.45 hours since they were fixing a computer problem on board. The flight was totally over air-conditioned and when I asked to bring an extra blanket for me the flight attendant started lecturing me that I was wearing shorts and a polo shirt (in the 86F heat at FRA and EWR it was ok!) and that she had no blankets. The second flight attendant who for some reason came 2 miins after the first one apologized for the attitude of his female colleague and immediately brought me an extra blanket.

Cons: Really old plane. Not well cleaned. Bring sanitary wipes for seat and tray tables. But cabin crew is top notch.

Cons: The crew was ok but missed picking up trash from several travelers near me so they had to keep their trash in hand or with the tray still down for landing! The seats were terribly uncomfortable. There were no amenities (power/wi-fi/entertainment), they ran out of food options.

Cons: The plane was absolutely filthy and smelled of urine and and heavily spiced food. The seat assigned to me had liquid in it and I asked the attendant if i could have something to wipe it up and she just reseated me. Just filthy!!!! It was so gross

We were about 2 hours beyond when we were supposed to have taken off because we had to wait on the pilots coming into Orlando on a flight which had been delayed in Dallas/Fort Worth. Because of the delay, the total time in getting home from London was 25 hours.
