Cons: "Copa ground staff did not let us board citing some yellow fever vaccination card requirement. What Copa did not know that there are some exceptions (which they don’t know and of which we just found out) allowed by WHO which would have let us continue our trip to Managua. Will never, ever fly Copa again. Actually I advise everyone else to stay away from Copa."

Cons: "Copa check in is now at Terminal 3, but boarding is from Tom Bradley Inter'l Terminal. We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement."
Cons: "1st flight was delayed so I missed my connection. 2nd flight was delayed due to mechanical issues so I missed my second connection. I traveled for over 24hours and now that it’s 3 days later , my checked luggage has still not arrived or been found."
Cons: "There was a prolonged delay on arrival in Panama, as the gate was apparently in use. They set up stairs (on the runway?) and they transported us by bus to the airport. On the connecting flight to Guatemala, they began boarding an hour before departure, only to wait on a bus to be taken to the aircraft. Apparently the airline doesn't only double book seats on flights, but on Gates on arrival and departure as well? Aside from this particular gripe, the crews were pleasant and the airfare was a relative bargain, so all in all not a bad option IMO."

After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."

The gate agent told us we were too late to board. FAA records indicate the flight did not actually depart O'Hare until two hours after our arrival. The BA gate agent send us back to American Airlines Service deik which was swapped with people; we waited in line for 2 hours and had moved less than half way to the Service Desk. We gave up and went home. Considering the long delay in departure, why were we not allowed to board? Very unhappy with the outcome of this experience."
Pros: "Stairs cause me tremendous pain due to a 4 year misdiagnosed ruptured SI joint. Usually, we have no way of knowing that our flight will end with a downstairs walk rather than a ramp. I emailed American Airlines last week but hadn’t gotten a response yet so when they announced that we would exit by stairs, I was almost in tears as I gathered my belongings. To my surprise, American Airlines had a ramp for us to use. I don’t know it it was a coincidence or if they responded that quickly knowing I was on the plane through todays’s technology. I will be a fan and a customer forever."

The biggest issue I have is that invariably when I fly American, if I go through Charlotte, is on the whole inconvenient. It takes way to Long to get to a gate when you land. And while everyone is apologetic, I would prefer they didn't have to be."

I noticed this kind gesture and noted it to the flight attendant. She told me sometimes folks get upset asking why they did not get the upgrade! It amazes me....I always think if that were my mother how would I want to be treated!!! CUDOS to this Flight attendant....Thank you AA for making this gesture and God Bless you all!"

The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"

Usually there will be a line already formed and everyone will be waiting for them to open the gate at any moment. Their seats are not comfortable either. So if you add everything up, you can say flying with Spirit Airways is not very desirable."

Then they reboarded. It was a fiasco and killed enough time that the NW route closed because of a bad storm and it took a while to reroute us. Was horrible."

Pros: "Staff was very nice. I had entered the incorrect return date, instead of June I had entered July as my return date. The young lady corrected it and I had to pay a few dollars more. Had I not checked, I would be in Atlanta for an extra MONTH!! Whew, I'm glad it wasn't pass the 24 hr timeline. When you're over 50 these things happen. Lol I'm just glad you all cut me some slack on that one!! Thanks for helping me out. However the fee for the carry on bags are rediculous. But the overall trip was pleasant."
Cons: "The carry on and checked bag fee was something serious. However $25.00 per bag may put a better taste in a passenger's mouth. One would think you are taking advantage of an already stressful situation. However being a company that would never treat their customers this way, allows me to give you guys the benefit of the doubt. For all you do these buds are for you"
