Also leg room is getting reduced to 28 inches. I'm 5"11 and cramped. How is JetBlue better than American? How much will these airlines continue to bend us over. I didn't even take the screaming infant into account.... since it's not AA's fault for letting that baby on board."

I must say, the fecal aroma really complemented the on set nausea that was triggered by the turbulence. Every time I thought I was gona drift off to sleep I was rudely awakened by the constant "thwacking" of the bathroom doors. The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"

Cons: "Check in at Houston is terrible. Air Canada made us transfer our own luggage between flights causing us to almost miss our flight. This should have been indicated when booking the flight, we would have purchased a different flight. When we got on the flight, overhead bin was too small for my husbands carry on and a flight attendant whisked his bag away before we could ask where she was going. She came back without the bag and we asked where she had taken it- she had checked it without asking us if this would be ok. The bag was full of valuable breakables as well as our cash and cards. We asked if we could get the bag at the gate and she said it would come out on the carousel. So we spent 3 hours completely stressed out. Drinks were only served once the entire flight, more water should have been offered. When we got off the plane one of our bags had gone missing. We had to wait 2 days to have it delivered. It was delivered at 4am in the morning. Overall compared to the previous United flight, Air Canada has lots of room for improvement."

We were forced to check in our cabin baggage saying that there was lack of overhead space, but when we boarded among last passengers, there were a number of empty overhead bins. We could easily have saved 45 minutes in Toronto airport without having to wait for our bags."

As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Our flight was supposed to land at 2:20 pm and did not land until 10:30 pm at Narita airport. We were not compensated and were abandoned by Air Canada. I read so many horror stories of random cancellations and other headaches. As long as you know your dates are set in stone and you don’t have to adjust anything (I had no changes) then I think you’ll be perfectly fine! :)"
Cons: "While everything worked out perfectly for me the only draw back for me was just airline logistics, because I purchased through a 3rd party vendor I was unable to check in early. I love having the security of checking in early to avoid the lines and stress at the airport but everything worked out great. I was even able to select which seats I wanted prior to my trip."
Cons: "I did tell the lady in the boarding area in la that we have limited time to cacht the other conection fly to phuket from chengdu. She ignore us and say we have enough time. Of course we miss the fly because a delay in migration in China. And this was a ticket of the same Airline. No one help us and even speak english. Additionally, the beverage service was limited and sporadic, and the second meal offering was given maybe two hours prior to landing in a very rushed manner. Also, the intercom system for announcements is absolutely jarring with a great amount of static, so while absolutely a necessary system, it should be lowered to a less shocking decibel level."

Cons: "Often you must deplane/board from the tarmac on connecting flights in PVG. Of course only an issue during in climate weather or if you have difficulty with steps. They are building another terminal so hopefully in a year or so all flights can board form the terminal."

It was too late for that, but we did manage to talk someone into moving to our (better) seat so that we could be together in a 3-seater as a family."

Cons: "The thing that was very stressful was not seeing one of our checked in luggage cases after spending a lot of time at immigration. Only did we get the trunk back after another frantic passenger had to flail his arms, run back and forth from the luggage area, and even confront the baggage personnel. At the end of it all, three trunks magically appeared. At the end of a flight, the last thing you need is lost luggage. I'm not sure if this would be in reflection of the airline or the airport but many people will appreciate this not happening anymore. The entertainment screen was hard to see and no headphones were given. The food was okay, but I felt I wasted a lot of it because it wasn't appetizing. The beef was cut with a lot of fat and the fish ball plate was cold and went practically untouched."

They accommodated us to sit together for the first flight, but did not try for the second flight, which is mildly annoying. Leg space was great int he exit rows and pretty average in non-exit rows."
Cons: "The airline lost my travel partner's luggage. Despite a 5 hour layover, her bag did not make it to our final destination with us. While I understand this happens, what was really frustrating was the airline's, and lost luggage department's ability to provide any information about where her bag was and when it would arrive. They were unresponsive for 3 days. They did not follow up, though we tried calling, no one answered nor returned our messages. We finally got information after returning to the airport in person, and they bag was delivered within 24 hours of that in-person follow up."

Cons: "There's no way you know what's going on when the flight is changed or delayed, you just have to wait for hours and hours in the designated airport gate without knowing anything about your flight. They should improve their customer service for sure. Also the website didn't work for mobile/ web check in for my reservation, and customer service by phone call was more painful."

Cons: "The crew were sometimes a bit rude, possibly because I didn't understand them when they spoke Mandarin Chinese to me. I look Asian, so even though I tried to explain I don't speak Mandarin, they continued to repeat themselves in Mandarin to me until the man seated beside me translated for me. My first meal (dinner) on the flight was okay, but my second meal (breakfast) was quite terrible and I couldn't finish it. The entertainment selection was good, however the headphones did not work well - even at maximum volume and with my hands cupped over my ears I could not hear the dialogue. The headphone jacks are the kind with two prongs, so I could not even use my own earphones."
Cons: "I had a bad experience to fly with China Eastern Airline. My flight on 04th Aug 2016 from Singapore to Shanghai was delayed for 03 hours. The flight number was MU544. Supposed to fly at 00.55am, but the flight was delayed until 3.30 am. Plus, I had to pay $60 for changing my name as the staff at Singapore Airport Said that my name didn't put in sequence. My name in the passport: Mai Thi Hien. But on the system was: Mai, Hien Thi. They said I had no choice if I didn't pay I can't take the flight. So, I had no choice to pay S$60 for changing the name in order to board the flight to Seoul. I have been with other flight before, but that kind of things never happened to me before. My husband had helped to book a flight before, instead of putting my real name, he put my English Name but nothing happened at that time. The staff of that airline was a good assistance they helped me to change the name without charges. Then, when I arrived the Shanghai airport. I had to wait to change the flight & went through immigration to checkout & waited to get the luggage & then check on the immigration again. All the procedure made me feel so frustrated. On 10th Aug 2016, I returned back to Singapore, then the flight was delayed again about 1hours & half. Luckily, they changed us to another airline: Asiana, which was a direct flight to Singapore. I was really disappointed about the China Eastern Service"
Cons: "There were several open seats but they were unable to seat the three of us together. Also, online check-in was a nightmare. Only one of us succeeded in getting online, then they changed that seat assignment at the airport. Also, the two hour flight was almost an hour late."
Cons: "The seats are small & cramped. Very small overhead tvs only showing Chinese movies. The food choices are very limited very few drink options."

Cons: "1. 1+ hour delay and no quick announcement regarding it. When the announcement was made, no time detail with regards to possible wait time of delayed boarding time. 2. Many folks went to China Eastern information to ask questions, the staff was unattentive and rude (would say 'I don't know' and then turn their attention to their phones). 3. No slippers to wear for such a long flight. Eva Air offers slippers and blankets even to their economy class passengers. 4. Could not bring water on to the plane even after having gone through security. No other airlines I traveled with during my entire trip had that policy: Eva Air, Korean Air, Peach, Scoot. 5. When another passenger buzzed a flight attendant, she came and responder with "what do you need?" instead of "How can I help you?" 6. Granted there was some turbulence during thr flight..but the ENTIRE time, seat-belt buckle sign was on...from Shanghai to LAX. That is one LONG flight. People need to get up and stretch their legs. Have no clue if it was bc they just didn't want to deal with the passengers or making announcements or switching on and off the seat-belt sign...but it was on the ENTIRE flight. Overall, terrible. Will not be flying China Eastern again."
Pros: "Only 50 pillows for 165 passengers. Poor English and staff didn't even care about the lack of pillows. In the middle of the flight I found one attendant sleeping on 2 pillows in an empty row after declining pillows to the passengers. Food was very low quality and entertainment non existent. Very bad experience."
