Their in0flight movie selection is limited in size and poor in quality.
Japan airlines is a great airline. One of my favorites. The only issue I had was that I only pescatarian or I can eat vegetables, pasta, etc and both choices of meals were chicken or red meat. Most of other airlines have meat or pasta. Also usually I get an alert to order a meal prior to fly and this time I did not get one. Other than that everything was wonderful.
Boarding and crew service were excellent. Food was mediocre, not as good as our last trip four years ago.
Great level of comfort and highly professional and friendly flight crew. Keep up the great service.
My first issue is the lack of clarity with the airlines. I know that Japan airlines and American Airlines are partners, but I couldn’t figure out which airline I was flying with. I got the flight info for Japan airlines and ended up on American. After my Kayak booking (via Underpricer) I got a phone call to see if I wanted up choose a seat and pay for luggage fees. both American and Japan airlines offer 2 carryons and 2 regular luggage checked in at no additional fees to Tokyo. Having already done my research, I opted out on their “Offer” and just contacted the airline directly to pay for upgraded seats (Which were cheaper than the Underpricer deal) My top complaint was the flight delay from HND to LAX it wasn’t until I had already made my unchangable airport drop off car reservations , that I received 3 hour flight delay email. I was forced to be there 6 hours prior to the departure. They were kind enough to give us a limited restaurant food voucher- which was 1900 yen ( I saw Delta food vouchers were 2000 yen). My teen and I ate food court pizza. The flight arrived when expected, The food was mid on the flight. I slept and woke up about 1.5 hours to LAX. I had waffles ( which also contained 1 mushroom and 1 tomato in the same tray) and 3 small pieces of fruit. All went well, just remember to check on your 3rd party ticket companies. Some seem to be sneaky All in all it was a very long day, we made it back safe.
service was excellent. crew very polite, courteous, and good service especially to passengers like me who is a wheelchair passenger
First of all it’s an American Airline flight not JAL as advertised. Code share is deceiving. Seats are uncomfortable. Stewards in our section were not friendly, felt rude at times.
Lovely flight attendants comfort in Economy Premium. Very attentive and kind I would choose JAL again for sure!
Excellent overall, the staffs and amenities were delightful even using the outdated aircraft.
I enjoy flying American airlines. I tried to book American airline when I’m flying most places.
The neck support for the economy seats is poorly designed. It’s hard to sleep even on inclined position.
I liked the flight over all. Towards the middle of the flight. There was a flight attendant who felt like they were rushing to had out vegetarian wraps and said they were “sandwiches”. She also handed out hand we wanted the water but she was walked so fast we didn’t get any. We sat in the seat 45 E & D. And towards the last 30 minutes of the flight there was an announcement saying the crew would collect trash. No one ever came around. So held on to the trash until we landed and left in the seats.!
As always, there is that one or two flight attendants that could be better.
Flight was excellent. Transfer from one airport to another airport for a connecting flight was difficult and stressful.
I loved everything about my experience!!! The staff were absolutely incredible. I can not wait to fly again with them.
ANA split my family of 4 by seating us each separately which didn't seem to make much sense. Both ways we were not seated together and the glitch int he online check in system meant we could not change our seats or get boarding passes without seeing a person at the airport counnter. The staff however offered good service in the air.
The seats were broken for several of us on this flight not to mention dirty. Quite unacceptable for the price point and expectation level. The meat was so hard it could hardly be cut so terribly unappealing. The united lungs in SFO was dirty and the bathroom conditions were down right disgusting. Nothing about this experience makes me want to book with United again. Our experiences with business class on Lufthansa and British Airways far out perform United in comparison. Truly disappointing!
There is no entertainment on the media service provided, most of the Indians would love to watch Bollywood movies.
They did not get back tickets in time about flight varification so i had to purchase another one way ticket to get home soxas rocnot Risk being unable to return home.
Food looked great but did not taste all that good.
Between being the only jetstar flight delayed to changing gates at the last moment and starting boarding late, jetstar dropped the ball on this one. we had to run for last train. Never again

A child behind me was kicking my seat and the cabin attendant noticed and kindly asked me if I’d like to switch to a different available seat. Really nice.
The flight crew was very nice. Had a bit of a hiccup on my end when I checked in flying from Tokyo to Sapporo but the staff was very helpful. Definitely enjoyed both flights.
There was no social distancing on the plane. Lots of people sneezing, etc so the coronavirus measures they are taking are not adequate. Very uncomfortable flight. Also hard to get customer service support by phone in English.

Quite ordinary, as might be expected of a budget flight. It was difficult to understand the instructions unless one speaks Japanese, and the seats were quite basic.
Very easy process overall. The staff communicated well and everything was efficient.
Very affordable, smooth check in process, flight attendants were safe and kind, lots of flight availability within Japan.

For Travelers with babies, if they can be supported by allowing to carry the Baby stroller upto the Airplane gate, and not submit at the Check-In counter. it will be very convenient. Thankyou.
