I was good seat to keep stretch my legs . but couldn’t keep my bag in my hand . because they told me can’t keep my seat is no holder , because no seat fronts of us. wish I can put my leg on something higher. but instead of that everything goood.
Overall was a good experience. Crew members are nice and helpful.
Service is great. Seat is ok. Not much storage room and seat is hard but seat topper was nice. Cabin was very warm most of the flight. Washoku Food was good.
I was too late to get onto this flight. Kayak shouldn't let you book a connecting international to domestic flight when flying ANA. Your domestic flight could be in a different terminal and you won't make it because you have to go through immigration and customs.
Good airlines btu ORL airport messed up the return flight for me. Checking out a connecting flight pax is unacceptable.
Tokyo Haneda to transport was so bad too short time . and find out way to the gate was so bad. I almost missed flight. because confused. They need more great way tell us how to get there details
Although the flight was delayed because of the equipment came in late, I still give them excellent service ..good food selection and in flight entertainment were sufficient.. I will continue to fly with them
Staff was rude and loud. No respect for customers unlike the Starflyer Osaka to Haneda sector where service was outstanding. What a stark difference. Maybe United should learn from ANA how to do customer service.
we were in premium economy, but we both got middle seats and had to sit separately. i could have avoided this by trying to obtain seats sooner, but i tried 3 times and gave up. ANA's technology is not friendly for newcomers. no, check that---I think it is nigh impossible. not sure we are coming back. ana can do better to provide a front end that's friendly to users in both US and Japan.
Flight was diverted to Osaka due to engine problems then arrived at a different airport 6 hours late. We were so tired. ANA did the best they could.

Underpricer is a terrible third party service that couldn’t change three letters on my boarding pass in time to make a flight. It cost me tons of money to have to buy a new ticket with JAL. I’m extremely let down with Kayak using such a sketchy company with horrific customer service.
Check in procedure is harder than with other airlines, infotainment system is outdated
I liked- timely took the take off I disliked- food for ANML was not served even after request, ASVML was really bad, the cleanliness of seats were not up to satisfactory level and I had to use my own sanitizer. Even basic sanitizer packs were not served, cabin crew could be more friendly as I noticed their behavior against other fellow passangers who were not speaking English well.
It was okay, short flight so nothing much to comment.
The crew was attentive and provided everything I needed. The business class food was excellent.

My seat had zero leg room. I thought I was flying Japan Airlines, a company I picked based solely on the legroom... When I got to the airport on my first flight, they informed me that I was in fact flying J.A.L VIA American Airlines... What a bait and switch. I will never fly AA on an international flight ever again.
Excellent flight. Check in experience was a breeze. Smooth and on time flight. Friendly and attentive attendants. Premium economy seating was very spacious. The lounges in both SEATAC and Narita were first rate. The only negative was the inflight food and entertainment options, which were limited, and Wi-Fi was not working. We would definitely fly JAL again.
The seats are very uncomfortable just was not a pleasant experience
my flight was cancelled an hour before departure and i have not received a refund yet.
A child behind me was kicking my seat and the cabin attendant noticed and kindly asked me if I’d like to switch to a different available seat. Really nice.
The flight crew was very nice. Had a bit of a hiccup on my end when I checked in flying from Tokyo to Sapporo but the staff was very helpful. Definitely enjoyed both flights.
There was no social distancing on the plane. Lots of people sneezing, etc so the coronavirus measures they are taking are not adequate. Very uncomfortable flight. Also hard to get customer service support by phone in English.
Going to Tokyo was not so good. Back to Detroit was excellent.
Aircraft was noisy, old and never dimmed the lights on a night flight even on business class! I flew 17 times on United and probably another 40 on other airlines United USA /Europe flights were the worst to include luggage delayed once going to europe and once coming back
Very thoughtful flight attendant offered me water immediately since I had run to make my connection.
Door to door, the crew and staff were amazing. It was a stressful travel day with delays, but they were focused on customers and doing what they could to get us to our destinations.
Flight was delayed for 5 hours because crew didn’t have enough time to rest - this seems like it could have been avoided with better scheduling. Food was not good.
I understand that the food on the airplane wouldn’t be fantastic. However, it wasn’t good at all. 😭

United could have one single once of customer service. No human United employee would help me with the invalid mileage plus number, they said I had to speak with the computer.
online check in was not available so i had to get to airport extra early. The flight was delayed and my luggage was lost. I had an argument with the person behind me who wanted to keep her bag on the floor and not allow my seat to recline on a 9hr plus flight. So overall, lots and lots of areas for improvement.

Your staff was exceptional. Could teach the other airlines-rules on etiquette, and service. Excellent landings on flights, carried out by your pilots. Only complaint is long delay on return flight in Beijing, onto Vancouver.
Worst than I expected, crew was not attentive, meal was as disgusting , they didn’t even drink selections as they would to other passengers. I felt discriminated

I hate that you cannot check in online and when you are at the airport, there aren't any aisle seats left. Also, they could work a little on subtitles for their movies (not everyone is a native English speaker).
Nothing to complain of, the only reason I am not giving better marks is that I am used to flying with ANA and they are the top.
It's terrible that we can't do online check in because we didn't buy the tickets directly from Air china. It was not explained until I contacted Chatdeal and we could not sit together.
Communication between the captain/crew and the passengers needs to be improved.
Food and service are good. Bathroom was lack of lotions and cleaning. That should be improved.
