Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc."

No one at the gate which didn’t say final call (or on any of the boards) or anyone calling us over the tannoy at any point. Super rude “flight manager” A. Turini burst out laughing when we told him our situation and when I asked why he said “Well would it make you happier if I cry instead?” So unprofessional."

Pros: "This was my first trip to Europe and I flew Lufthansa. They really have it together on this airline. From the two meals served to the alcohol option I didn't choose, to the entertainment options on the screens to the attendants onboard. I can't find one fault with this process. I saved hundreds of dollars through this site! I'm currently only to my original destination and will update when I've returned to American soil."

Lufthansa should have anticipated this mass of people and had appropriate passport checkers there from that company. "Not our fault" does not cut it. Two planes 600 people each landed at same time. I'd guess a quarter missed connection. The process of rescheduling was a comedy of lies and inefficiency and lack of concern. Worst air travel experience ever. Ruined first two days of my vacation. Oh yea forgot the worst. No air conditioner running on runway at Houston at three in afternoon. Passengers visibly sweating before a nine out overseas flight. Blamed it on a mistake."

Lufthansa has done this twice to us. My kids 8,10, 12 year old girls are well behaved and used to flying, so don't disturb anyone."

Cons: "My son Adam is in Mekele Ethiopia having flown most of his journey with Lufthansa. For two days now, his luggage with his nebulizer and asthma medications has gone missing and not ONE person at Lufthansa is willing to help on their end. Since his last leg was with Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa is unwilling to help in any fashion or form in helping to track the luggage that flew with them over two flights. They DENY they have any responsibility to help because it's not their "policy." They wouldn't even look into their computers to see where the luggage was last seen. I am so angry that "policy" is more important to Lufthansa than actual human caring about their passengers."

By the time I arrived in Dallas, the “EXIT” indicator on my boarding pass disappeared. When I boarded the plane there was no extra legroom and row 16 was not an exit row: rows 14 and 15 were. I endured a less comfortable trip, and now have to go through the pain and effort to get a refund. Good luck to me..."

In addition the crew "aged out" so we had to get a second crew - waited for that. the first plane had a mechanical, the second plane had a mechanical - more lengthy delays then finally the last plane was fine - but was again delayed by yet another hour for a total of 7 hours delay. Our compensation? Non existent."

Cons: "First of all, this flight was not good; that was my rating for the first leg of CLE to DFW. DFW to SJC was a disaster due to weather and multiple equipment changes. Overall the flight was delayed 7 hours, from 4:50pm to 11:40pm. I opted to reschedule for the following morning -- and that flight ended up being delayed for an hour due to equipment changes and mechanical issues. Door-to-door I spent 30 hours getting from CLE to SJC."

Airline made no concessions for travelers knowing that some were just doing a simple trip and those others whose journey was very long. Narrow seats added to stress and discomfort. Airline policy seemed to be "Give me the money and I will deliver you safely. Period" Humanity seems to be last on airline list. Traveling is seriously grueling and unpleasant for all those not in First Class."

The customs checking process was a joke! We barely made to our flight running thru that entire airport pushing my mother in a wheelchair. Whoever thinks this is a reasonable transfer ought to be subjected to it themselves before booking it for others."

They claim that the cabinet in the plan is full while actually there is plenty of spaces for multiple luggages to be there. The crew was rude and refuse to explain it in an acceptable way. When I asked why cant I carry it when there is enough space, she simply says because you just can't. Do you want to take the plan or not! This is unacceptable."

I was quickly routed to the desk to get a replacement ticket, and even though the flight was oversold, they had me wait around until the plane was ready to take off. A couple minutes after they shut the door of the boarding bridge, I was called and told to follow one of them. It turns out a couple of people were headed to the right city in the wrong country."

I mentioned it to the flight attendednt but being a full flight there were no seat. Changes available. The parents even switched seats but only with each other, they kept the baby behind me. I can only hope they have a baby kicking their seat in the future"

Missed connection and ended up on stand by for the next flight ( no more protected seats folks). Was not even refunded the money paid for seat assignment on the missed connection."

Gluten free options not available for me and my wife. We tried to book these before the flight but we're not allowed access for this. Flight entertainment system froze and had to be reset, resulting in blank screens for the first 30 minutes or so."

Cons: "Our flight was over an hour late getting to the airport in Morocco and when there we were left standing in the jetway after scanning our tickets for a good 30 minutes. The flight was so delayed, many of us missed our connecting flights and had to be issued later flights. I was originally booked to fly out the next day, which would NOT have worked out but was booked instead for 5 hours later. I stood downstairs for 2 hours trying to find my baggages, however, they never came where they were supposed to come out and I received 3 different answers on where they were. "They're at carousel 5," "you don't have to get them they will be checked to your final destination," no they're at carousel 3, so you can grab quickly and recheck upstairs." My bag wasn't at any of these places. I finally found a nice air Canada agent who took the time out of his day to actually go to the back and check on my bag to which he returned 10 minutes later with it. It was just "circling around back there" with nowhere to go. Had I not been persistent, my bag would not have made it to my final destination. I wish the story ended there but it does not. After a 5 hour wait, I sat at my gate which continued to say "American Airlines" I asked the gate if United Airlines flight was still leaving from there she just stated she "had no idea" frustrated, with no gate to go to with a flight leaving in 1 hour nobody seemed to know where our new flight was boarding. After 3 gate changes we were finally able to board our flight to D.C. I am sorely disappointment in both Air Canada and the YUL system. This would be my second time flying this way and both times I have had issues. It's too bad. I do not plan on doing so again."

When we asked about supper, we were given a $10 coupon - had some difficulty finding a place for dinner under $10 at Pearson."

The airplane food gave me food poisoning and I had to spend the night in the ER. 3. My flight the next morning was delayed by 3hrs. Meanwhile, other flights to the same destination were taking off with no problem."

Pros: "The flight from YVR to SFO was good, but the flight from SFO to YVR was horrible. So I'm giving you an average score from both flights. Note: both flights were booked through Air Canada but were operated by United."
Cons: "I booked through Air Canada but the flight was operated through United. There was NO communication regarding what terminal the flight left from and I almost missed my flight because the board said international but that was incorrect. Many people did miss their flights and everyone was MAD. I was re-booked on a later flight but fortunately I made the original flight because I happened to be walking by the gate when they called for final boarding. My seat was at the very back of the plane next to the bathrooms. When the flight took off a funnel of water poured down my back from the baggage bins above. My entire back, pants and underwear got soaked. It was disgusting. The stewardess said it was most likely water from condensation/air conditioner and offered me some paper towels. I moved to the aisle seat. Thank goodness it was open, because when we landed a ton more water poured on to my old empty seat. Once again the stewardesses didn't think it was a big deal. I feel badly for whomever sat in that back seat the next flight out. I'm sure they got soaked too. The stewardesses could not have cared less. I'm sure they didn't bother to report it."

I was supposed to have about a 3 hour layover in Toronto, due to multiple delays, flight plan changes, and mechanical failures I ended up getting booted from the 2nd leg of the flight, and having to spend an unanticipated night in Toronto. To begin, my 3pm flight from Seoul to Toronto was delayed to 6pm (the day before the flight was even scheduled, and for no apparent reason.) I wasn't even notified of this change, the only reason I found out was I tried checking in online the afternoon of the day before my flight (only because I remembered to do so myself, never received a check in reminder notice) and found out of the change. So my connecting flight had been bumped, and my ETA to my destination changed. This wasn't terrible, just an annoyance. Second, the flight was stuck at the departure gate for over an our. I'm not 100% sure why, however, after delay after delay, and then a flight plan change, we finally took off over an hour late, this too was was an annoyance, an nothing notable. It wasn't until we landed, where we were delayed on the tarmac for yet over another hour, due to mechanical issues that was the problem. We were stuck for about an hour (the pilot promising we'd be moving in "just 5 minutes", every 10-15 minutes) before the pilot decided to order buses to unload us, to then turn them away once they arrived so that way we could get towed to the gate. It then took an additional 40 minutes for the plane to get hitched, and towed to the gate. Once we arrived at the gate, I tried running through the airport to catch my connecting flight (which I had 10 minutes till boarding, and 40 minutes till departure) only to find out that I had been bumped from my connecting flight (despite having no checked baggage) and would have to stay the night in Toronto. Apparently this is not a rare occurrence for Air Canada to screw up flights. There were other people both on other original fights, as well as mine who were bumped from their connecting flights to various destinations, as well as having lost luggage. Again, individually these weren't exactly huge issues, collectively, they're the reason this has probably been my first and last time flying Air Canada."

Pros: "I don't have much that I liked besides the fact that it got me from Venice to Montreal."
Cons: "The service from the attendants is probably the worst that I've ever had. I had to ring someone and remind someone twice that I received the wrong customs form. Finally I had to walk back to the end of the plane where I saw four stedeardesses giggling over someone's phone. I missed one of the meals because I was dozing off and when I requested some food I was told that there was none left. The entertainment is subpar. You need a mobile or device with he app already installed. And even so the movies and shows are outdated and not very entertaining at all. On top of that, both legs of my flight my outlet was not working and not charging my device. Air Canada rouge- never again!"

Cons: "at atlanta airport i was refused to board the flight because it was aircanada and i wasnt told anything about that infact i had to pay 130$ extra for rebooking my ticket wihout any reason and the airline person didnt talk properly it wasnt my fault that i was given a air canada flight i booked a turkish airline flight,infact i had to wait at the airport for like 24 hours!contact me back asap this is the worst ever experience i have had with you!i have been booking with you guys for a long time.i hope to hear from you soon!"

Pros: "I liked the flight crew. They were very friendly and attentive."

Cons: "All three Air Canada flights that I had to take on this itinerary were late including the 2nd one which was six hours late. Air Canada personnel on this 2nd flight did not do a good job of communicating information to the customers during the delay. Air Canada booked be on a 3rd night that lead me to only get 3 hours sleep in a hotel. AC does not work with the customers when booking flights. they just make changes after the previous flight has left the ground."

Pros: "Nothing positive. Horrible experience."
Cons: "3 mechanical problems. Two missed flights. 16 hours late. Lost luggage. The crew sent us at wrong place, we were stuck in a room until 6:30 am. We had to sleep on chairs. Everything that could go bad went bad. Will never ever fly with Air Canada again. That is a promise."

Pros: "Extra leg room even though I had to pay extra for it."
Cons: "Long wait at the Claims Dept. because my luggage was broken."

Pros: "The crew were extremely friendly and the flight was on time."
Cons: "I wasn't offered a meal preference, and was disappointed they couldn't accommodate me with a vegetarian meal. I also didn't enjoy the fact that the plane didn't have an integrated entertainment system, and that you have to pay extra to receive a tablet to watch movies..."

Cons: "My bags were lost and no one would give me contact information for how to track them down. The only number I was give has not had anyone answer after I have called many times over the last several hours"

Pros: "All flying may have weather issues. At almost 1 am there was a wonderful ticket agent that was in charge of all of the rescheduled flights in the "basement" area of the Toronto airport. Thanks to her for her pleasant attitude."
Cons: "Lack of communication: 1. There were gate changes that just showed up on the board with no verbal announcement. 2. There were a large number of rescheduled flights on July 1, 2016. We were all "herded" into a small, hot area. It seems like this time of day has a number of late flights that don't seem to have a good plan. 3. We landed in Greensboro and the pilot walked in to tell us after the fact. Come on, an announcement before the actual landing would have been good communication."

Pros: "I got a larger than normal seat,"
Cons: "The idiots lost my luggage, and it took two full days and about 20 phone calls to get it back."

Pros: "The Boeing 787 is a very nice, state-of-the-art aircraft. The cabin temperature and pressure are excellent and comfortable. The entertainment options were great."
Cons: "I only booked this ticket 3-4 months ago, and Air Canada decided about 3-4 weeks before departure to change their Inchon-Toronto route to 2-3 hours later. This really messed up my trip, increasing my total travel time from Bangkok to Columbus, Ohio from about 30 hours to about 36 hours. My wife and son will have the same issue in two weeks. The YYZ to Columbus leg was delayed over one hour, as well, extending the trip even more. The Jazz terminal in YYZ atrocious and hot. I also didn't comment on our trip from CMH to Bangkok, mostly on Air Canada. The 787 on the YYZ NRT leg had a computer issue, which is understandable. However, we were waiting for the extra pilot (for the long leg) for nearly an hour after the airplane was fixed. So my main input to Air Canada is: it doesn't really matter if you have the very best equipment. If your scheduling isn't working (maintenance, crewing, route changes, etc.), you create unhappy customers. I will avoid Air Canada in the future, as 3 of the 4 legs I had on AC tails did not go smoothly."
