I arrived to my destination

We boarded late. Everything is for sale. It's all a business I guess but do you have to bother me when I'm trying to sleep just to ask me if I want to buy a coke? The chairs don't even recline.

Friendly staff.

No complimentary snacks or nonalcoholic drinks served. The seats were very uncomfortable. Very narrow aisles so when someone came down the aisle the people sitting on end seats had to squeeze in.

Everything with the flight was great.

When we got to the airport, we waited over an hour for our luggage as passengers on other flights came and went. I can understand occasional flight issue, but the frustrating part was that there were no Frontier staff nearby for assistance. We were just stuck with no help. And their customer service line is horrible; it takes many many steps to get to an option to speak with a live person, then you get to sit on hold for many many many minutes. Fortunately Southwest Airlines had very helpful and friendly staff nearby to try to help us.

Price was great. Flight was great from take off to landing, luggage arrived in reasonable time upon landing.

Technical problem with Kiwi, so had to go to Frontier website and print my own boarding tickets. Not a big deal, didn't have any problem doing so, not sure what Kiwi problem was. Plane seats are close together, lucky I am an average size person so didn't feel too crowded.

The food was horrendous. I am pretty sure the folks at AA responsible for selecting, preparing, and delivering to the passengers do not eat this food. I am a million mile flyer with AA, I had the same status on NW, and high mileage on Lufthansa, and other international carriers. At the height of my career I was a 100% road warrior flying internationally weekly The food on this flight was the worst I have ever been presented with.

I like that American Airlines did not charge for my carry-on. It was a short flight but we also received a snack and a drink for free. That was nice. I will definitely consider American airline before others when I plan my next trip.

AA claimed the overhead storage was full and took my carry-on. Except I walked by at least 15 spots that easily would have fit my bag. They made us pay $50 to check-in luggage, but then didn't bother to put the bags on our flight. They also tried to charge us twice for the privilege of checking bags. They had no flights that would get us home on the same day, then claimed that since 12 hours had elapsed, we had to repay to check bags. During the flight, they had non stop commercials for their credit card. Ugh

mets basic expectations

Flight attendants are kind of rigid. I look at this as being in hospitality business rather than just being there for safety. I compare them to hotel staff who are pleasant to greet and just try to make the trip/stay pleasant. Don't see it in United. I think it has regressed to almost like "robots".

The person at the United customer service desk was able to book me on the next available flight to Reno (after missing my original flight mentioned above) quickly and efficiently. Boarding was fast.

I was late to my original flight and the United personal that I talked to at the gate was very rude. I asked if the plane was still boarding and all she said was go to customer service. I know I gave her a questioning look because this did not answer my original question. She repeated her statement again this time pointing. I would have preferred that she tell me that the flight had finished boarding but customer service could help me get on another flight. I feel that would have been more professional. My new flight was also an hour late

1) a 5-hour flight to Honolulu was delayed for 6 hours due to mechanical problems, twice! First plane had issues and we had to change to another plane, found issues again before being taxied. Poor maintenance United! Are your planes even safe? 2) United first class is terrible! It isn’t even near first class standard with very tight seats and rude flight attendants. Absolutely zero service! No more United!

I did not board this flight as the previous one from Tokyo was late by an hour. Delta did not do ANYTHING to help us pass immigration and customs the fastest possible way. They sent us with the luggage to another terminal and had no signs or attendants to tell us where we recheck the bags. In the end we were late for the flight but Delta did not care!!! They tried putting me on a flight to SLC with a connection! Overall, I am VERY unhappy with them! Zero stars is what they deserve.
