Simplicity of boarding and corporate interactions were all totally positive and simple, brief, organized and clear. No regrets at all. I will favor flights with Cathay Pacific in the future.
In between two meals period they're not providing something like banana / cup noodles or bugger. It's really fell sad that I was asking have to wait for 3 hours for second meal. (breakfast)
Everything was expected, nothing stands out. The silly practice of only enabling the inflight Wi-Fi after half an hours after take off and switching off within half an hour of landing is puzzling. Why?? It's like there is no technical common sense within Cathay.
No PA announcement was made about the start of boarding
Big selection and great food and beverages in business class with good service. Full recline but less privacy compared with Qatar.

This review is based on other Asian airlines I used in the past year. Food going to Malaysia was bland and unappealing. Food coming from Malaysia back to the US was much, much better - tastier. Economy seats were not as spacious as the Airbus planes. Coming back from HKG, we were on a new Boeing plane and seats were very narrow, hard and extremely uncomfortable despite the fact we sat in the exit row. No offers for water in between meals though available in the galley. No garbage pickup. Movies were limited. All in all, flying Cathay seemed like flying a budget airline. Crew was pleasant and accommodating.
Really impressed with the Airline and much with the Crew. The crew was amazingggg, changed seats very easily, provided a lot of snacks on demand, the plane is nice and clean, the menu is well presented; unfortunately, the food is not fantastic, but it's not bad either but nothing to rave about. I am still rating it as excellent because I loved everything else; food improvement will be great!
As a solo traveller, I always prefer to have an aisle seat, but the flight was so full, there weren’t any available. I understand that the seatbelt sign sometimes has to go on if turbulence is anticipated but after the second food service, it was on continuously for about an hour and a half and there didn’t seem to be any turbulence at all! With seats reclined, my fellow passenger in the aisle seat asleep and the seatbelt sign on I felt very trapped, extremely uncomfortable and in desperate need of the bathroom. The positives were that the staff were very friendly, the entertainment was great and we actually took off on time and arrived in HKG earlier than expected.

I’m still in Zurich because my British Airways flight was so delayed, I didn’t make the flight to Los Angeles yesterday.
Very unprofessional treatment of customers - boardring on being unethical. Only cares about money and not the customer. If you use the swiss brand, you should deserve it - now swiss air doesn't deserve the swiss brand.
OK they lost my hold luggage but notified me straight away. My main complaint, after losing my suitcase, I was told my cabin bag had to go into the hold because of it’s size. I, obviously, didn’t want this to happen bearing in mind what happened to my suitcase and when I voiced my concerns I didn’t get an explanation I was just told it would be taken from me on entering the aircraft. Looking around I was surprised to see many passengers not only with larger bags than mine but sometimes two or three bags,taking them onto the aircraft. In the end, nobody bothered taking my bag off me so I just walked on with it. The whole procedure was disjointed, poorly explained and not terribly efficient.
Best international flight I have had in a while! Far superior accommodation, services, food and general experience compared to U.S. airline companies.
Very nice crew and great food. Easy to board just wish the flight could be shorter or seats more comfortable or more room to walk around when you get cramps in your legs from sitting so long. Crew was great and attentive and really was good food.
All the flight to USA were arranged to E terminal whereas from Dubrovnik arriving on Zurich is on A80, have to walk all the way from A to E, even need transfer bus , for short transfer time like in an hour, we have to work fast, as soon as arrived at E, it is about time to boarding, pretty tight schedule, I hope Zurich airport can make some rearrangement so that transfer people do not have to walk long way. For short transfer time people, such as 50 min, this is even impossible if still like this.
The flight was generally good but was delayed departure meant a very late arrival for a connecting flight.

No fault of the crew, but the the rear lavatories were closed the entire flight. The front lavatories were blocked off for the first part of the flight by the food cart. Then some minor turbulence occurred so the fasten seatbelt sign came on for the second part of the flight. Heroic containment engaged! It was not fun.
Motivated and friendly crew on a somewhat dated but well kept plane. Hd seats in economy may section, so legroom was excellent.
It we as a pleasant flight. Good helpful and happy cabin crew. Food was okay, not to write home about. Drinks good. Entertainment okay.. Seat space good , comfort acceptable
The meals were not the greatest and lacking of appetite but everything else was spot on
Your staff was exceptional. Could teach the other airlines-rules on etiquette, and service. Excellent landings on flights, carried out by your pilots. Only complaint is long delay on return flight in Beijing, onto Vancouver.
UA is ok. But check in was a very bad experience
I hate that you cannot check in online and when you are at the airport, there aren't any aisle seats left. Also, they could work a little on subtitles for their movies (not everyone is a native English speaker).
Nothing to complain of, the only reason I am not giving better marks is that I am used to flying with ANA and they are the top.
Food and service are good. Bathroom was lack of lotions and cleaning. That should be improved.
Chinese flight attendants didn't speak english well. They didn't care enough to remember that I (east asian who isn't Chinese) wasn't Chinese and spoke English. Announcement in english on board was poor and I find it very difficult to understand what was announced. Also, a cabin bag allows only 5kg!
I wish I had been able to choose a vegetarian meal. Crew friendly and helpful. Seat was ok. All quite efficient and pleasant. Would recommend for inner China travel for sure.
We bought premium Economy, thinking it would be more comfortable, but the seat is so narrow ,that my legs and feet are swollen , I can't wear shoes !
Basic long haul decent price but U pay for what you get. Over 5hrs of transit and terminal was pretty bare with nothing much to do except the lounge
Broken business class seat which could not convert into a bed and had to switch to a narrower aisle seat to sleep

China eastern was fantastic. I had read so many bad reviews that had made me nervous. However, I found that the flight attendant’s, and customer service check in etc. etc. was excellent. I had no problems. I would fly with them again!
Better good than most, if not all European airlines. If you’re stuck in an economy seat anyways, China Eastern is a good choice because of shorter flight time, being able to overfly Russia
The temperature of the plane cabin is too hot. Sweat and uncomfortable. Also my food tray was broken down drinks fall off
I was surprised and appreciate that they actually served a hot meal on such a short, early morning flight. The check in and boarding was hassle free and most of all my Alliance Status / Code Share was recognized and the revelant courtesy was extended; other than some needed attention to detail concerning the cleanliness of the cabin, and some unnecessary aggressive wording their safety briefing, it was an overall pleasant flight, and I would certainly fly with them again.

Great staff and food. Seats pretty uncomfortable but plenty of legroom. Entertainment system outdated.
Flight was fine, however we were not able to check in online, this adds to travel stress. Luckily check-in at Heathrow was quick, but we did not get the seats we paid extra for. We paid for a window and 2 aisle seats from Shanghai to Tokyo leg, but they changed us to middle seats. Not good :(
Pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable aircraft. Speedy boarding. Took off on time. Arrived earlier than scheduled. Overall very enjoyable flight.
I have a walker I need it to get from the plane to customs and baggage claim. It had a huge orange tag on it saying it should be given to me as I got off the plane. It was not and the flight staff didn’t know where it was—both on my flight to London and on the return. In It was very frustrating
They forced me to check my wheel bag because there was a full flight. This was very frustrating. I went out of my way when planning my trip to not have to check any bags. Usually, they ask people if they are willing to check a bag they do not force people. This felt like bad planning on the part of the airline.
Had a plane! Have a plan! Have my luggage! 10 hours of travel turned into 50 hours. Good Lord!
Great flight, great crew, decent food. Premium Economy was very comfortable. I compare this flight to the one we took on BA from DC to London: Like a different airline. The food was atrocious, the crew aloof, and the cabin not as comfortable. Based on that first flight we said we'd avoid BA, but the return trip changed our minds.
Those seats were very comfortable. Nice leg room and food was great 👍
because the previous flight operated by BA was delayed, when arrived to the gate, I was surprised that I was taken out of this flight and they rebook me but with a different seat

We arrived at 430a for our flight. We only had carry on so we were sent to security. The BA person was tagging all carryon in case a shortage of bin space. We were on the plane like 20th and told we had to check carryon because it had a tag. Unexpected and unnecessary
Staff were uniformly excellent. Padding for premium economy seats was a bit thin. Drinks service was very very good. Food was meh.
