I had to pay an extra $350 to get my flight rescheduled. I thought that due to bad weather, customers can get flight rescheduled at no extra cost? As soon as I rebooked my flight, both airport in Houston closed anyways. So is this still my fault and did I have to still pay an extra $350??"

"You can't check in now because it's a US flight, so it's only 24 hours". "You can't check in now because of visa documents something you have to check in at the airport". None of this was written down, or even satisfactorily explained when I tried to understand what was going on. Next time I'll fly Asiana on the hope they have a better online seat selection system that doesn't involve bizarre US checkin policy."

All the flight attendants had smiles on their faces and they were always ready and willing to assist passengers. Every time they delivered something, they were always smiling; even when passengers asked for more assistance, the flight attendants delivered service with a smile!! Amazing!! This was my first time flying Korean Air, but it will not be my last!! My experience with Korean Air was fantastic!! I will definitely fly Korean Air again!! Thank you!!"

Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore."

She was very professional , serving customer with the best she can. Always smiles. I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines."

Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. Pros: "The flight was less busy than usual (it was an Easter Sunday departure) and so service was a bit more relaxed and friendly than usual instead of just efficient. Left gate a few minutes early and arrived 20 min early in Tokyo. Flight time is pretty good - 8pm departure which gives time for a relaxed day sightseeing in Dusseldorf before going to the airport in the late afternoon, Arrival in Tokyo is about 2pm which would be a good time to check in to hotels and relax. Food was good - dinner after take-off and a brunch-type meal a few hours before landing. Entertainment system is also very good although I'd flown a lot recently so seen the films I wanted to see already. Sometimes ANA are just "good" but this one was the best one I've flown recently."

Many passengers were pointing to the flight path animation, to point out that we were flying straight north, instead of southeast. The flight attendant then called the captain for an update, and then the captain finally made an announcement about weather delays around shanghai."

If you are in the US you need to log on to the ANA US site, the JP site is in Japanese and it will not redirect you to US. On line check in can get confused as a lot of time it would not recognize the booking number, you have to use a long 10 digit e-ticket number. Very professional, attentive, good food, little amenities that make a difference in the overall experience of traveling. Very clean bathrooms, even after a 16-1/2 hour flight to Taipei it was still clean at the end of the trip. Food was good and plentiful, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages offered. Came around at least three times on the leg to Taipei with food and water and when I wanted more water they gladly made sure I stayed hydrated on such a long flight."

However, i recieved an email from EVA airlines AND Kayak around 9 PM stating that my flight was on time... the airport was closed!! Terrible organization... overall a really bad experience."
Cons: "Airline seemed to be extremely stingy with the food and beverages during my 12hr + flight. Felt like I had to fight for every little bit of extra scrap of food and explain why I needed it. It was also very limited options almost everything in the menu contained pork and if you did not pre-order a meal in advanced then it was hard for you to get anything else to eat. Airline also forces you to take out your headphones from the TV set almost 20 minutes before arriving for some odd reason. And on my flight we had a two hour delay on the tarmac."

Pros: "EVA Airlines was a wonderful experience from the beginning all the way to the end. From checking in to receive boarding passes, boarding, stewardess, the food, everything was wonderful. They were always pleasant and had a smile on their face. When my trip was changed by the website (vayama) to fly back to the states, EVA Airlines went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care, placed on another flight, and made it home to get to work the next day. They didn’t have to take care of me, but the did and the professionalism is amazing! I’m very pleased with this airline and will fly with them again!"

Pros: "Customer service was outstanding. After a debacle with Jetblue where they cancelled our originating flight, we booked another ticket through Delta to get to JFK. The Delta flight was delayed on the tarmac of JFK for 45 minutes, giving us only 15 minutes to go to the EVA terminal and check in. The terminal was nearly empty when we ran up to the counter. Luckily, the agents had not closed down yet. They attempted to check us in when they realized that the airline cancelled our ticket because our Jetblue originating flight was cancelled. The agents worked furiously to ensure we got on the flight, even communicating with the gate to let them know we were coming. They rebooked our tickets and got us on the plane. We are so appreciative of the EVA staff at JFK for saving our vacation."
