  • Thailand has two international airports in Bangkok – Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) and Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) – and as these are located in the centre of the country, they provide a good starting point to explore north and south. If you wish to go to the north of the country, consider booking a flight to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), while if you would like to visit the south, then Phuket International Airport (HKT) is a good option.

  • If you are looking at flights to Thailand in order to visit some of the attractions in the north-east of the country on the border with Laos, why not think about booking a connecting flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani International Airport (UTH), which serves as a hub for this region. Udon Thani International Airport only operates domestic flights, so you will need to fly in from one of the main airports in Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
  • The U-Tapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport (UTP) in the Rayong province is a good airport to consider flying into if you want to spend your holiday on the island of Kho Samet. You will need to book a connecting flight from Bangkok or Phuket to Rayong or in the high season, Tui Airways operates direct flights from Birmingham Airport (BHX), London Gatwick (LGW) and Manchester Airport (MAN) to U-Tapao Rayong Pattaya International Airport.
  • The best way to buy foreign currency for your trip to Thailand is to take some GBP or USD cash with you and change it at a bureau du change. These money exchange counters will yield better rates than the ATMs and can be found in the airports.
  • If you're looking to find cheap flights to Thailand from the UK, consider booking an indirect flight. Qatar Airways offers one that stops over at Manama Bahrain Airport (BAH) from London Heathrow (LHR), and you can fly from Edinburgh (EDI) via Amsterdam (AMS) on KLM, for instance.

Amazing customer service. BUT!! It would be nice if the flight attendants SMILE a little more, I know they are doing their job, but it is importantly to smile back and be warm to passengers. Nobody is trying to hit on them, it’s just being polite. So, please Taiwanese flight attendants: SMILE MORE WHEN YOU INTERACT WITH PAYING CUSTOMERS

It was easy going check in was easy and pretty fast entertainment was up to date on movies and food was ok

Very nice, I feel I got good value for the price.

Amazing one of the best airlines i have ever traveled with. I live with medical issues called psoriatic arthritis and was in pain on the flight. The flight crew made sure I had fresh ice pack ever hour. Going above an beyond with service and care ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Everything was great, however the seats in the back are very small. Not as Comfortable as I would have liked.

The crews are very efficient. Other airlines should learn from them when it comes to boarding and departing from the airplane. They also display efficiency in serving meals. They don't keep the aisles blocked for hours like some other airlines. The food is poor. Generally the food was unrecognizable and poorly prepared. The only thing that made it better than US flag carriers is that there was a fresh fruit bowl with each meal.

Staff show very stress with delayed flight more than passenger.

Very good service and food. Crew was professional and helpful. Cabin and restrooms were kept clean

Great experience, comfort and food is delicious. Always great service and one time

The food from Los Angeles to Taipei made me throw up. The flight is also not comfort. But the staffs are very friendly and nice.

Offboarding in Dubai was a bit confusing. The bus dropped us off, we passed the security, and then we were again in departure, no clue, no guidance on where to get our luggage

I liked the newer aircraft CRJ-550 since it had WIFI and the seats are more spacious.

Food was great. More vegetarian options on menu would be great!

Emirates did great! I liked the service, the food, cleanness, and the flight was on time. Much better airline than Qatar Airways I flew with last year.

Premium economy was worth it-comfort was definitely better than economy class. The seats were more comfortable, blankets and pillows thicker

The journey was nice, all the crews were very good and services are excellent

Great flight - Clubhouse met our needs, and the staff provided good service. Boarding felt a little chaotic, but given the size of the aircraft, it's always going to be challenging. Whilst the crew were friendly, the number of passengers meant that we received our breakfast items, but had finished breakfast before we were served a drink. Lunch was much better organised, and throughout the flight, the crew were attentive. Found the seats and ICE to be excellent. Disembarkation was fine, and everything possible to expedite the process was being done.

It was delayed for 2 hrs. Flight attendants were not attentive.

Crew were very good. Food service was a little slow and disappointing not having on demand dining and only 3 options. Amenity kits and pyjamas were excellent.

No kids provided. Instead we were told to have contacted the airline that we have kids and require kids meals. We were not the only ones who inquired about kids meals. It’s odd. Emirates and other airlines give kids meals as standard and before the adult food comes out. The rice in our meals was gluggy and under cooked. The chicken was also raw. Sadly not the best experience with Finn Air. The hostesses tried to compensate with the snacks and drinks but missed the mark by a long way. Especially when paying Emirates/Qantas prices

We still get drinks and a snack. Love the gift bags too.

business class is old but still done very well by the team.

Excellent airline. The plane was clean and the staff were very attentive

Good experience although the boarding gate is at the terminal extension hence need to leave lounge to head over earlier.

Thai Royal First is very good. Easy check in , Private room in the first class lounge and escort from ticketing to the plane. Once on board crew was very polite, food was outstanding, and the ride was smooth as silk. Restrooms were especially clean. Great Experience

I'm not interested in improving the airline. Therefore, I won't explain this in more detail. Next time I'll try a different one.

The flight (boarding) was delayed by 40-50 minutes and there was very crowed. They need to improve on the timeliness & boarding process. (They asked passenger to board in groups, but the 2nd group was standing there waiting for 20 minutes!). However, services from the crew was very good, also the food was good as well. I also found the legroom was quite comfortable.

Need to improve on punctuality. My flight was delayed by 1 hour.

Seats were uncomfortable and the vegetarian meal was awful. Some of the entertainment didn't work.

Except that our flight was cancelled, by mail, and later moved to 12 hours prior, then the experience was good. In Bangkok we were offered a hotel, it was fine, but would have been nice to know in advance😉

Extremely uncomfortable seats with very little cushioning, unable to recline enough to sleep comfortably on this 13 hour overnight flight. My body was in pain by the end.

When we checked in at the Siem Reap Airport in Cambodia, we were only given three boarding passes and told that we would have to check in with American when we arrived in Boston. This was a source of stress for us. After we landed in Boston, we had a long passage from Terminal E to Terminal B (American Airline ticketing counter). Because the electronic ticketing kiosks for check-in would not recognize our Confirmation Code, we had to wait for an hour in a long line where only two AA reps were taking care of Special Services passengers. In many years of both business and recreational travel, I have never had this experience. I would expect more from AA being in partnership with other airlines to do a better job with this.

This flight was a very good trip for us. The crew were very friendly and helpful. They made arrangements for my husband to have assistance in boarding. We were not expecting a meal, so it was a pleasant surprise on this short flight to have a meal and beverage from a very courteous crew.

Qatar maybe considered one of the best ailines in the world but nowadays it is much of a muchness with the rest

Very efficient and professional staff. Food was good and so was entertainment selection.

The service was good but the food was a NO

I prebooked a comfort plus seat on this flight and therefore the flight was comfy. I got the correct seat in the correct section of the plane that I have booked, that's this. Flight was comfortable. Staff were average on the flight, appearing to be rushed and short in engagement with travellers, perhaps this to maximise there rest time on the flight.

Indigo airlines is terrible. Staff is awful and so disorganized. They are so rude and unhelpful. I will never travel on Indigo airlines again!!!!!

Terrible experience resolving missed connection after flight was delayed. 3 hour queue at transit desk, not enough staff, no organisation, worst ever flying experience.

The flight was smooth Thank God but the delays and changing gates for 3-4 times made me so tired of walking back and forth with heavy bags I thought I was going to pass out with heavy headaches but Thank God finally found the final gate and home safe. These delays happen anytime for important reasons so just be patient when you come across these situations.

It was excellent service in the snow storm gives us hotel and transportation. It will be more better if u can add one more meal because it’s a long flight boring journey. If you give extra meal time passes faster and can enjoy the trip better

Food quality and varites were very minimum. Surprised to have no desserts. Business class tickets should have lounge access and seats selection. They should be allowed to board while people with wheel chair, secial assistance and family with childrem.

Business class ticket should include lounge access and seat selection. The food quality and varieties should be more. It was surpirise that no dessert was offered.

Awful the whole airline arrived to check baggage and board our flight and the airline desk was closed where none of the passengers could check in baggage, asked for a supervisor and was refused a supervisor, called the airlines from the airport and they refused to refund the flights for their actions in the airport, Etihad and Garuda Airlines absolutely horrible customer service all the way around.

Good one but just notice that you have to ask several time to get water or coffee .

No entertainment except on app. No outlets working to charge. Good service

It was great! Kept the time. Provided what was promised

It was mediocre. Honestly, the flight was late but that didn’t bother me as I had plenty of time. The only thing that bothered me is that the crew never asked to make the beds for us in business class. Maybe the crew was exhausted and that just didn’t occur to them.

From the start of my vacation at Logan Airport, Boston it was chaotic. I'm praying my flight home is better .I'm grateful that we landed safe

The flight was over 1 hour late taking off ,when I arrived in Abu Dhabi ,I missed my connecting flight to Bangkok so I had to wait almost 6 hours for my flight arriving in Bangkok at 6:30 am ,So I missed a whole day of my vacation and my hotel room sat empty so I paid for hotel days that I was not there. In Abu Dhabi there was a woman that worked the desk at transfers that was so professional, courteous , helpful, and may I say absolutely beautiful .she got me food vouchers for my layover and was a very calming presence. Besides that I will never use Etihad again I will pay the Xtra money . I'm sure they won't read or see this but it's my "2 cents" I'll use an airline that respects me and my hard earned dollars
